Chapter 32: Chapter 32 – Two new cards

Watching two projections in front of him that held the images of the two sisters in separate locations, Adam was hit with a sudden realization.

What he was seeing right now was the projection of the soul worlds of the two girls. There was no way something like the clouds of his soul world could exist anywhere else in such a tangible form.

The world of the two girls was so bleak and dark. Compared to Adam's boundless world that was filled with vibrant colours. It was hard to even call their soul world a world.

However, this was slowly changing through the unending efforts of the two clouds that had been sent into their worlds. Right now the cloud that was in each of their worlds had grown to capacity and then like an amoeba split into two. Soon dozens of clouds were quickly devouring the darkness.

The rain that fell from the clouds was slowly creating and nourishing a land under the feet of the two girls.

Regardless of how quick the clouds grew the land that was growing in a circle from the centre which the girls stood at was progressing at a snail's pace.

Adam patiently waited while conversing with the two girls. He was waiting for a notification from the sentient mind that had gone silent. It was still connected to him and he could feel that it wasn't done.

While they waited Adam explained everything that he knew about the soul world and the girls slowly stopped being as frightened as they were.

It was very hard to keep track of time in the soul world.

Whether it had been 10 minutes or an hour was hard to tell but after a certain amount of time had passed a notification popped up again.

'Sufficient space detected.

Beginning processing of information…'

The land around the feet of the girls had only grown to around 3 metres in diameter in all this time. It was a painfully slow process that would probably take at least a few decades to reach the level which Adam was at.

As the sound of the notification faded, two huge cards began materializing within the dark soul world of the two girls.

Both the girls were calmly chatting with Adam and were shocked into being wary when they saw the huge wooden block with a mist swirling around it, that had formed in their soul world.

'Creating a permanent link.

Linking.

Link complete.

Soul world Link 1 – Luna: Link in progress

Soul world Link 2 – Elaine: Link in progress

Class card Mage – Status: Viewable

Class card Tank – Status: Viewable'

"It created class cards for them as well? Oh! I can even view them from my soul world." Two light projection's of cards that were completely similar but a little smaller than his Dual class card was projected on either side of his card.

"Young master, what is this 'Card'?" Luna asked.

"There is one that popped up here too!" Elaine sounded more excited than frightened.

"My soul world just created a connection with both of yours. I am able to see the card from here as well." He replied.

"The card is just a processed way to find out information about your class. It's very handy! With it, we don't have to go to the guild and use their magic tools to asses our levels every time. I have one as well. It's my ability to make them so don't worry. They are not dangerous."

"You can read them yourselves and you will understand." He was calm on the outside but was bursting with joy inside.

He had countless headaches the previous nights trying to figure out the best way that the two girls could train.

He had the painting on his dual class card to gain inspiration but what about the girls? The recording crystal was basically complete trash in his opinion and he couldn't hire a personal trainer because of Luna's constitution of the darkness element.

Looking up at the two projections, his eyes darted from left to right and he almost danced in joy when he saw the two paintings with a Lifelike moving person within it.

"Your ability? So you made these for us?" Luna went from wary to joyous in an instant when she heard him.

"I didn't ask you for it… but thanks." Elaine's soft voice was directly transmitted to his mind.

He took all the credit for the effort that his sentient mind had put in. He felt a bit bad but the alternative was making known his sentient mind. This was a secret that would only bring disaster if it was spread. It was better if they were completely oblivious to it and didn't ask any more questions on the matter.

"Umm…Young master. Can you read the cards for us?" Luna said timidly.

"Why? It'll be easier to understand if you read it yourself." He replied.

"Hmph. Such a dumbo. Cant, you tell why?" Elaine said slightly shy as well.

"No. so tell me." He had no clue what was going on.

"Hmph." Elaine seemed to get more aggravated by his dense attitude.

"The thing is….we were never taught how to read. So please, young master." Luna said in a very low voice.

"Ah!" He had unintentionally embarrassed the two. He felt the guilt well up in him. "I'm sorry. I'll read it right now!"

"Let's start with Elaine's Card then!"

The two girls giggled secretly at how agitated he had gotten.

"Thank you, young master," Luna said

"Quick! Quick! Read it already!" Elaine completely forgot her earlier anger and was beyond excited for the unveiling of this new 'toy'.

"Fine. The word at the top reads 'Tank'. All the cards have the name of the class engraved at the top of the cards…" He started reading out the card for the girls and explaining what he knew about it.

…..

The card was made of the same wood material as Adam's.

At the very top of the card were a few sword strokes that had carved out the word 'Tank'. The sword strokes were very refined and had an aura of bluntness to them.

Below the word was a painting. It had a very medieval design of shields with two swords sheathed behind it on the four corners of the rim, with curly ribbons that ran along the sides. The whole design was in shades of gold and silver.

Inside of the square rim of the painting stood a valiant female knight. She was clad in full-bodied silver heavy armour that shone from the rays of light that fell on it. Her armour radiated a sheen of gold that made her look ethereal.

She held her helmet with her right hand that propped it on her waist while her left hand held the hilt of her downward pointing double-edged sword that was stabbed into the soil below.

Her blonde hair was tied up in a high ponytail.

Her surroundings were a cluster of cherry trees but she stood in an empty patch in between them with a few straw scarecrows that had been scattered all around her.

She almost seemed like a statue at the moment with her head held up and her eyes closed. She seemed to be bathing in the rays of the sun that made its way past the pink blooming flowers of the trees that surrounded her.

Below the painting was a few lines of text…

'Body of a Tank: (Passive Skill)

Level – 0

Exp to next level – 0/1000'

'Additional processed information is applicable for display'

.....

While reading the card out he came across that final line of text that he was unfamiliar with. It was written in very fine writing and he had to squint just to read it.

He prompted an approval to his sentient mind after reading it and an additional line of text was added to the card.

'Exp to next level – 0/1000

Elements activated: Fire.'

This same line appeared on his card and Luna's card as well. Of course, for him, it read: 'Elements activated: Air and Earth.'

After reading Elaine's card he started reading out Luna's.

"For Luna's card, the word at the top reads Mage…"

...

In a practised and elegant handwriting, the word mage was written atop the card in black ink with thick brush strokes.

The painting below the word had symbols of the 7 elements printed on the rim of it. It was a very colourful design as a result.

Within the painting, a lady in mages robes stood in a room that looked like it was located on the highest level of a stone tower.

The stone room was very minimally furnished but the room was spacious beyond belief.

The loose robes on the lady could not hide the curves that lay beneath and even though her face was blurry just like all the other paintings, her beauty was undeniable.

Her robes were a deep royal blue in colour with a few golden highlights. It gave her an air of superiority.

She had silvery white hair just like Luna but she lacked the black stripes and feline ears on her head. Her hair was long and went all the way down to her slim waist and covered half of her buttocks. The swaying of her hips along with her hair was mesmerising when she walked.

She walked around the stone room in circles and different elemental emissions could be seen sparking off from her thin fingers from time to time.

There were the same lines of text under the painting as the one before. It read:

'Body of a Mage: (Passive Skill)

Active skill: Skill 1 – emission, Skill 2 – Territory

Level – 0

Exp to next level – 0/1000

Element activated: Ether.'

...…..

"Ether?!" When Adam got to the last line he was shocked.

Not just him…

"Ether? Not the darkness element? Young master, please don't trick Luna!" Luna knew that he would never tease her so insensitively.

This was, however, a very sensitive topic for her that filled her heart with many thorns. She had just accepted her fate and now it had taken another turn.

Elaine Just stood in her place speechless.

"Haha! I didn't read wrong. It really does say ether." His excited voice was relayed to the minds of the two girls.

"Ether! Ether! Hahahaha." He laughed till his heart was content.
