Chapter 26: Scars, Tattoos, and Memories
(Athena's POV)
I don't know how long I cried. I could not believe I did all those things to her. Will she forgive me? My heart felt as though it was in pain but all I know is that Storm held me the whole time. He never let me go. He even carried me back home to my bed.
"You want me to draw you a bath?" he asked as he layed me down on my bed and wiped my face with a tissue. I nodded and he left the room and went into the bathroom. I heard the water running and I got up from my bed and undressed myself. I then covered myself with a robe.
After a couple of minutes, the water stopped running and Storm came out of the bathroom. "Your bath is ready." he said and I nodded. I was going to get up from the bed but before I could Storm had picked me up again and headed in to the bathroom.
The bathtub was filled with water and bubbles. It also smelled like lavender. Storm sat me down at the edge of the bathtub and went out of the room. I took off my robe and slid into the nice warm water. It felt nice. It feels relaxing but I still, feel tensed.
Suddenly I felt a pair of hands on my shoulder. I was startled, but when I looked up, I saw it was Storm. "What are you doing?" I asked him and he replied "You need relax about the situation. Your whole mind is still making your body all tense. So I'm going to help by massaging your shoulders. Don't worry I won't see anything." He started to slowly massage along side the back of my shoulder and neck.
As he kept massaging me, my body was finally able to relax. I was so relaxed that before I could even realize it, I had slowly drifted off to sleep.

(Storm's POV)
Looking at Athena, who was sleeping in the tub, made me happy. She finally was able to relax. I grabbed a towel and covered her body as I lifted her from the tub. I then carried her back into her room.
I gently layed her on the bed and went into her closet. I grabbed some clothes and put them on her, without looking at her body. I was very surprised by myself that I did it with no problem. I pulled her blanket over her body and gave her a small kiss on her forehead.
I went into the bathroom and took myself a shower. I had put on my pajamas pants and was in the middle putting on my shirt when I started to hear mumbling from Athena's room. I threw my shirt on the bed and ran into Athena's room.
I looked at Athena's face and it was covered in sweat and she kept tossing and turning, mumbling stuff and hugging herself as if she was in pain. I went into the bathroom and grabbed a wet towel. I went back into her room and sat next to her. I wipe her face with the wet towel and she started to calm down. I threw the towel into her dirty clothes basket and was about to get when I felt a pair of arms tightly hugging my waist.
Athena was still sleeping but she wouldn't let go of my waist. I sighed in defeat and layed next to her. I covered us both with her blanket and she layed her head on my bare chest. It actually felt nice. I wrapped my arm around her and soon fell asleep.

(Athena's POV)
I woke up the next morning on something very nice and soft. The thing was that it wasn't my pillow. It was Storm's bare chest. I lifted my head slowly terrified and looked at his body. This man before me was shirtless and my God his body was built like Greek god. He had an eight pack, a very sharp V-line, broad shoulders, some big muscles, and a dragon tattoo on his left ribs.
I swallowed the lump that was in my throat and then I noticed some small scars around his body, but then as I looked closer, I noticed a big scar that was under his dragon tattoo. 'He must have covered it with the tattoo.Did he want to hide them?'
I froze when Storm shifted his body to the side so that his back is facing me. That's when I saw another tattoo on his back. It was winged spine tattoo. I looked closely at the tattoo and saw that it was another big, long scar that went all the way down his spine and had other small cuts along his back too.
'Wait, he's half vampire. Why haven't they healed?' I thought to myself. I slowly leaned forward to touch his long scar, when all too sudden, Storm turned real quick and grabbed my wrist. He was breathing heavily and when I looked at his eyes, it was blood red.
When our eyes met, I put my hand on his cheek and said "Hey it's just me." His breathing slowed down and his eyes started to change back to normal. Yet he still didn't release my wrist.
Then all of a sudden, I was pulled into his embrace. I completely froze in his embrace. Only reason I froze because my hands are pressed up against his abs. He released me from his embrace and I was still frozen and my hands were still on his abs.
He looked at my frozen state and saw where my hands were. He chuckled and leaned forward to my ear. He held my hands against his abs. "You could go even further down if you want." he said softly as he slowly moved my hands down his abs.
I quickly removed my hands once I slightly touched his V-line and he started to laugh. I punched him on the shoulder and kept laughing. He caressed my cheek and pulled me in for a small kiss.
Once we pulled away from each other I looked at his tattoo that was on his ribs again. "Did you hide this scar with a tattoo because it reminded you of your past?" I asked as I poked it. "Yeah I did. I did the same with the one on my back. I got them when I was in the Army" he replied and I nodded.
"I can understand that. I did the same with my scar when I went into the army." I said. He looked at me in disbelief and said "You have a tattoo. Can I see it?" I chuckled a little and lowered the side of my pants slightly, revealing my tattoo that's on my hip. My tattoo is a picture of a bird that's made out of music notes.
"It's beautiful. Who gave you the scar that you wanted it hidden?" he asked and I replied "It was my grandmother and uncle from my mom's side." He looked at me in disbelief and said "really?". I nodded and said " Yeah it happened when I was five years old. It was on my birthday and I had run off to play with my exceed doll. My uncle grabbed me and knocked me unconscious. I didn't wake for a week according to my parents. When I did wake up, my parents were going to go with the pack to kill my grandmother and uncle."
"I snuck into one of the cars and went with them. When we got to the location, I snuck out of the car and went inside the building into the room my parents were in. My grandmother was about to kill my dad and I screamed. I ended up running and somehow turned into my wolf form and attacked my grandmother. I discovered my other powers that day. I turned invisible on my grandma and when I appeared, I got struck by lightning by her. The lighting ricochet off my body, but since I was new to my powers it left this scar. My mom ended up killing them both."
Storm listened to everything I said and had an amazed face. He started to poke at my tattoo and I swatted his hand away. "Now tell me how you got your scars since I told how I got mine." I said and he sighed and replied "you want to know about all of them?" I shook my head and said "just the ones that are covered by the tattoos."
He nodded and said "Well the scar on my back is from my father. He tried to experiment on me. He had me hung up by our by my wrists and he cut down along my spine. He tried to install some device that will control me. Unfortunately for him, my vampire and wolf sides came together and the device didn't work. The scar covered by the dragon tattoo, I got when I was in the Army. I was on a mission with Justin and got some false intel and we got caught in an explosion. I got hit by a shard of glass. It hit me right in my left ribs and was very painful. Justin had to help me get stitched up."
"I'm guessing the other scars you have are from your father's constant torture when you were younger." I said and he nodded. I chuckled and said "looks like we both have our history." He chuckled and pulled me close and kissed me. 'So far the best morning I have ever had.' I thought to myself.
