Once they got used to moving on both though, I would start them on mastering the moves they had all learned upon evolving, before working to add even more to their arsenal. My Gyarados would also have an added regimen to their training after a while though, since they too were able to fly!
Needless to say I was very surprised to see it for the first time during a televised battle.
But that would be far later, since they needed to get used to moving in and out of the water first.
Eventually Lucario joined us as well, but he didn't immediately start training since his fur was soaked with seawater.
"You all look lively." Hudson said behind me as we finished the last of our exercises. "I can see why your Pokemon are already so strong."
"Yeah. We usually do two training sessions a day, one in the morning and then after dinner." I told him without worrying. After all, I doubted Hudson would readily poach my training style.
"That's good. Most trainers don't understand how much work it takes to make a Pokemon strong. Several of them think that they just need to catch a strong Pokemon to do well in the League." He replied while looking my Pokemon up and down, before focusing on Charmeleon.
"Dumbasses. Pokemon that don't need any training are one in a million, and usually some kind of legendary at that." Lucario snorted with disdain.
"Indeed... Anyways, I came out to ask if there was anything specific you wanted for breakfast."
"Pancakes and bacon?"
"Chocolate chips in mine please!"

"Are you going through the Rock Tunnel?" Violet asked this time.

"Why go out of your way to Lavender Town?" Hudson asked curiously.
"With all of my Pokemon I have at least one of every type, except for ghost or fairy type." I explained part of my reason, to which he nodded in understanding.
That WAS a big reason to go there of course, but my main reason was to deal with the Rockets when they attacked the town in the near future. During my last communication with Jessie she told me they were ramping up their plans, so the sooner we got to Lavender town the better.
The main problem they had in attacking the town though was how troublesome ghost type Pokemon could be. They were literally the town's greatest defense.
"You don't have a dragon type either!" Misty suddenly piped up, as she tried to correct me.
"Is that so?" I asked with a huge smirk, making her expression falter before I proceeded to remove an egg from my bag.
"Is that-?!"
"Yep~! It's a Dratini egg!" I proudly declared, leaving Misty mystified as she gaped at the egg.
I also had Tyrunt, but I didn't need to bring him up here.
"Dragonite are known for helping sailers lost at sea. That is a good choice." Hudson said approvingly, making me puff my chest out even more as the four sisters admired the scale-covered egg.
The rest of the meal went by uneventfully, outside of everyone making small talk as we ate. The most entertaining thing to happen was when Lucario got his face covered in chocolate and syrup.

I don't get why he's so irritated, he's the one who made the mess.

As for the rest of us, I was going to ride on the bull Gyarados while Misty and Joy ride on each of my Milotic, and May and Dawn ride my other two Gyarados. Pidgeot would fly overhead of course, and be ready to assist if anyone needs it.
"Take care." Hudson said to Misty as we prepared to leave.

"Come back and visit us some time!"

He smiled at that before jerking his head in brief nod, and then stepping back alongside his other three daughters.
"Alright, let's go!" I announced to the girls and Lucario, before we all mounted up and set off.
