Today is finally the day when Long Yuan'an is having his spirit vein tested. Although he had already knew of the spirit vein he owned from his father, the spirit vein testing is still a customary ceremony held to mark that a child is going to start his journey as a cultivator.
It was compulsory for every children in the continent to test their spirit vein once they reached 4 years old, whether poor or wealthy. For the general population, a public spirit vein testing will be held in the nearest big town every 3 months for a week. They only need to pay 5 low-grade spirit stones for every child tested.
As for the wealthy or noble, they can choose to hold the spirit vein testing for their children in a big sect or temple anytime immediately after their children's 4th birthday. Of course, the fees would be higher at 15 high-grade spirit stones for each children because the testing also includes knowing the level of purity in their spirit veins.
As everyone in the continent knows, the higher the level of purity in their spirit vein, the easier for them to cultivate. Additionally, people with fewer number of spirit vein in their body are highly sought after by big, prominent cultivation sects as they have higher chances to become a cultivation genius.
Long Yuan'an was a bit nervous. Although his father has told him that he owned a mutated lightning element spirit vein, his father never told him whether he has any other spirit vein in his body or what is the level of purity of his spirit vein. He worried that the spirit vein testing will have a problem and that he would disappoint both his parents.
Seeing her son's nervousness, Huang Feiyun patted his head lovingly. "Son, don't worry. Whether you have Penta Spirit Vein or whatever, remember that not one of them are useless. Tribulations are part of our life; what we have to do is to change it to our advantage."

Long Tianyue have a fire and wind Twin Spirit Vein, but Huang Feiyun's spirit vein element is unknown. It would be interesting to know whether the combination between an immortal cultivator and a mere mortal can have any interesting result.
Long Yuan'an gulped, then nodded. He looked at the white glass ball the size of a bowling ball that was floating in front of him. Around them, were 5 pillars made of the same glass. Long Tianyue explained before that the glass ball is where he can know his spirit vein type and element, and the 5 glass pillars represented the purity of the spirit vein element. The lowest purity would only light up a pillar with a dim light, while the highest purity will be able to light up all the pillars with the brightest light.
"Just put your hand on the ball, and focus your mind to the feeling inside your body." Xue Xiannǔ instructed. Following the instruction, Long Yuan'an carefully put his right palm onto the glass ball. The touch felt as smooth as pearl under his palm. Suddenly, he felt a warmth entering his body, the same as when his father was checking on his pulse the last time his power almost attacked him.
His gaze never left the ball. He saw a purple aura with lightning bolts suddenly appeared inside the glass ball. Then, there was a flaming orange coloured aura, followed by a calming blue, and lastly, a deep green.
"Oh my, a Quad Spirit Vein. There's lightning, fire, water, and wood. These are all elements that wins against each other." Xue Xiannǔ commented, surprised at the aura of elements that are floating inside the glass ball. Then, her eyes moved towards the pillars at the side.
All 5 pillars are brightly lit, that she almost felt blinded by the light. All elements are with the highest of purity. If it's another noble family children, even with the Quad Spirit Vein qualification, the purity of the elements would still have made the prominent sects fighting for the child's apprenticeship.
But Little An'an... should she says that the boy is lucky?
His father is the Respected Sovereign, the man among man in the cultivation world. Any big cultivator sect pales in comparison with his strength. Added with the wisdom of his mother, he would definitely be a peerless bright diamond in the future.

Xue Xiannǔ said kindly. She wasn't hopeful, though. Long Tianyue has already insisted from the get go that he'll be the one training his own child. Any words of invitation from her was only for the sake of formalities, just so the old undead ones around won't bug her later.
Long Yuan'an moved his right palm away from the glass ball, marvelling at the magical scene that just happened to him before. Hearing Xue Xiannǔ's voice, he turned his head to look at the woman and blinked his big, starry eyes. After a few moments, he shook his head.
"Thank you for Aunt Xue's invitation. But Yuan'an wants to learn from father," said the boy politely. Although Mysterious Star Sect is strong and has lots of talented and experienced cultivators, his father had already promised to personally teach him the way of cultivation. He really looks forward to learn more from his father, especially after listening to his Second Uncle telling him about how strong his father is and how he received the titled Sovereign in such a young age.
Receiving the expected answer, Xue Xiannǔ was not reluctant. Her martial junior brother is the best candidate that the boy could choose to learn from. She patted the child's head pamperingly. Such an obedient and clear-minded child, as expected of Long Tianyue and Huang Feiyun's child.
"Xiaoyue, Xiaoyun, you really raised your son well," She turned towards the boy's parents who were slowly walking over. Long Tianyue smiled proudly, and Huang Feiyun only gave a gentle sigh. The kid is too obedient sometimes that he actually made them distressed. So, they can only pamper him with all the love they have for the child.
Long Tianyue easily picked up his son into his arms, kissing his chubby pink powdered cheek. "My son is the best in the world, so deserved the best." He said confidently.
Feeling bashful from being praised and kissed by his father in public, Long Yuan'an hid his face in his father's arms, only showing a small back. Seeing the scene, Xue Xiannǔ quickly felt her blood boiling.
Heavens! Is this the so-called 'moe' that Xiaoyun said? The adorableness is off the charts! I need to to burn this into pictures, no, videos! Quickly rummaging her Qiankun bag, Xue Xiannǔ looked anxious.
