"Thank you for coming over," I said as I curled up next to Adrian.
"Is something wrong?" He asked me.
"Right before you came over, my father kept screaming at my mother. I don't know why though. They always get along. Then I heard my father yell something. I don't know what, but it probably wasn't very nice. Then I saw my father rush out of the house and get into his car and speed down the street." I said.
"I wonder what they fought about," Adrian said.
"Probably about me Adrian. Maybe my father isn't happy about me coming back." I said.
"That's not true. He must be very happy. You are his daughter of course." Adrian said and I nodded.
"I just want to take my mind off of it," I said.
"I know exactly what we could do," Adrian said crawling on top of me.
"I'm not in the mood Adrian," I said.
"When have you not been in the mood?" Adrian asked.
"Now. Now I am not in the mood. Can't we just do something else? Like watching a movie?" I asked him.
"Whatever." Adrian sighed.
"Is everything okay?" I asked him.
"JUst fine. Don't worry about it." He said getting off the bed and walking into my closet.
"Adrian, tell me what is wrong?" I said.
"Leave it, Melissa. I don't want to argue." He said.
"What are you talking about? We have nothing to argue about." I said.
"We do actually, but you don't seem to notice the problem. So there is no reason to address it." He said putting the movie in.
I got up and walked over to him.
"Please tell me, Adrian. You helped me so much when we lost eh baby." I said.
"That's the fucking point, Melissa! I am ALWAYS there for you! But you are always there for me. I ask for 1 fucking thing in return, and you can't even seem to do that." Adrian yelled.
"Where is this coming from?" I asked shocked.
"God Melissa seriously? Where do you think?!" He yelled.
"Adrian please calm down. Why are you being like this?" I asked him.
"All I wanted was sex. That's it." Adrian said.
Sex? Is that what this iaboutut.
"Cause I wouldn't have sex with you in Georgia. Is that why you are mad?" I asked him.
"No shit Sherlock," Adrian said sitting on the bed.
"Is that all I am to you? Pure sex? I thought you loved me!" I yelled.
"I DO! I DO! But you can't just stop having sex with me!" Adrian yelled.
"Uh, yes I can! I can do whatever I want! I'm sorry I can't fulfill your needs." I yelled back.
"I don't need my needs fulfilled. I thought that if we started dating, we could still have sex. Or does that only happen if we are friends with benefits?" Adrian asked me.
"Of course we are still gonna have sex! But you can't just ask me to have sex with you at any random time! Especially when we are eating dinner! Where your parents are right across from us! God, you are so damn selfish sometimes!" I yelled. ,
"I'm selfish! That's ironic coming from you!" Adrina yelled.
"Stop yelling at me!" I yelled.
"Fine. But tell me why I have been rejected by you 3 times. Once in Georiga and 2 times here. Are you cheating on me?" Adrian asked.
"Yeah totally. I have another guy named Dave. We've been screwing for the past 8 weeks." I said rolling eyes.
"I'm not joking Melissa." He said.
"No, I'm not cheating on you! I would never do that! I love, you Adrian! How could you think that?" I asked hurt.
"I just want to know why you rejected me." He said.
"Is that what this is about? Cause I'm not having sex with you?!" I yelled.
"Yes!" He yelled back.
"So that's what our relationship comes to? Yelling at each other due to lack of sex. You know what Adrian. If that is what you are truly mad about, then we shouldn't be together." I said.
"So are we breaking up?" He asked me.
"I don't know Adrian. If sex does this to us, then we shouldn't date. You are supposed to trust me. And I am so sorry I didn't think of you. I am truly sorry. I kinda forgot it was your baby too. I was so selfish. I used you to take me to Georgia. I know you really didn't even want to go in the first place. I love you so much, Adrian. I don't want to break up. But just because I don't have sex with you means you get mad and lash out, maybe we should break up and stop the fwb.saidsiad.
"I don't want to break up either," Adrian said.
"I never meant to hurt you, Adrian. I just haven't been in the mood. In the shower, when we had sex in Georgia. I felt so weird." I said.
"Why? It's not like anything was different." He said.
"Cause before that, we had our baby. And now we don't. But when we were having sex. It made me think that what if I got pregnant again? I know we are using protection now but still. Anything could happen. And if I got pregnant again, I don't know if I could survive Adrian." I said.
Adrian turned to me and brought me close to him.
"I love you so much, Melissa. I am so sorry for what I said. I didn't mean it." Adrian said kissing my forehead.
I hugged him.
"So what now?" Adrian asked.
"Let's watch the movie," I said and he nodded.
The rest of the night we watched movies and discussed how much we hate some characters.
"Goodnight Melissa. I love you." Adrian said before he fell asleep.
"I love you too."
