Chapter 28: Students
Madara: A little Wrong?
Zetsu: The Sand led by Ryu betrayed and attacked. Apparently he hoped for the Mizukage to come so he could take the three tails from him. He and Konoha had agreed to an alliance before hand. Now he has Hiramekarei and the six tails Jinchuriki.
Madara: You're telling me things I don't care about. He may be a problem now but as long as I am revived when the plan starts he won't be.
Zetsu: ah well. The Uzumaki survived
Madara: Obviously. Did you get the boy and his parents.
Zetsu: Yes I did. I wiped and rewrote their memories and placed them in the rain village.
Madara: And what about the other one. The Uchiha boy.
Zetsu: Still in school and still lovable.
Madara: Good then start the third ninja war of course after the six tails is acquired. Focus on Konoha more so as to gain an opportunity to acquire the boy and his love. Also convince the others to do the same.
Zetsu: Understood
Six Days Later
Konohagakure, Hokage office
Hiruzen: 10,000 good swords and 10 chakra swords. I can agree to that.
Koharu: It is less than the original plan.
Hiruzen: Was his chakra really so overbearing.
Hirito: I could barely speak and even trembled as he had it released. It completely shrouded him to the point all I could see was chakra. Not even his eye's.
Hirito had the most chakra of everyone present. If he was like that then imagine everyone else.
Hiruzen: Thanks again for the condition you gave against him. If we keep having to fight him and lose who knows when we'll go broke.
Hirito: It's a small thanks for coming to our aid like that. And to that I thank you again.
Hiruzen: Hahaha its nothing. I'm just glad that kid decided on this route otherwise even we may not know they would attack until it was to late.
Hirito nodded as he understood this as well.
Jiraiya: What do you think is gonna happen now.
Orochimaru: If the Mizukage is smart he'll simply pay Suna and leave it all alone.
Danzo: Nevertheless we need to prepare for the worst.
Hiruzen: A third ninja war may indeed erupt. But I doubt any of them would want to attack Suna after what happened. Hm you said he gained one of the great swords right.
Tsunade: That's right.
Hiruzen: Which one?
Orochimaru: Hiramekarei. The one that stores chakra and then shapes the chakra into anything the user can imagine.
Hiruzen: With his chakra amount that thing may explode.
Sunagakure, Meeting room
Yue: The fish problem is solved and is currently under way. I understand the more seals and medical knowledge from the Uzumaki. But why the swords instead of the increase in resources?
This is also something the other elders wished to know. Ryu expected this and said
Ryu: On the battlefield with Kiri I noticed a problem from the memories of my clones. That problem is the battle between a sword and kunai. The sword is not only longer but allows a person to put more reach, strength or speed while attacking. The person with kunai will be under pressure unless the gap in strength is shortened. Having our ninja learn the sword along with shuriken throwing will improve the shinobis strength. Besides with what happened at Uzu the third shinobi war shouldn't be far from happening. Our main attackers will surely be Iwa and Kiri. We can increase the advantage against Iwa while decreasing the advantage KiriNin have over us.
Everyone nodded as they also knew this was inevitable. Even Yue nodded at the reason. The meeting continued as Yue then asked
Yue: We'll give kiri a few more days to come seeking about the six tails Jinchuriki. As for Hiramekarei?
Ryu: I can give it if they give the way to create it or a sword near it's caliber. With my club broken I'll need a new weapon and this suits me too well to give up.
They all understood this besides who would want to give up such a weapon. Yue nodded as Ryu was a little upset. If he had to give this up he would make it his mission to destroy all KiriNin he came across. And Kiri itself to claim this sword back for him self.
He was actually really tired of waiting to become Kazekage as well. Hopefully this guy went out to battle in the upcoming war. If so then he would hire Kakazu to assassinate him from the black market. Of course he would watch and make sure that this happened on a battlefield.
It was time for him to become the Kazekage and start his development plans. This guy continued to turn down his ideas when it came to village improvement. As for why this is the case Ryu had a few ideas. But it would definitely come to a stop soon.
After the meeting Yue asked him to stay. After that they went to the kazekage office. There he found Rasa and Pakura. Ryu was confused by the three of them being here.
Yue: You three are the best young Jonin we have. For that reason I'm assigning you to this years academy graduates. You three will teach three students each. Here are this years possible graduates and failures. You may choose your three students from them.
" So this is the reason. My own students huh "
Ryu never even considered having his own students. But now he felt he should definitely do it. Grabbing the paper he read through each one. He wanted a team like all of team seven. However he couldn't help but be well. Disappointed at the amount of ability these kids had.
He decided to choose the last guy In class. Nori, 12 years old, wind, lightning chakra nature. However he lacks physical skills due to a sickness. Apparently doesn't have the money to treat it. He then chose a girl with good shuriken throwing and trap setting. Hina, 13 years old and water nature chakra.
Lastly he chose a person with no chakra nature. It wasn't like rock lee where he couldn't use Ninjutsu or genjutsu. He simply didn't have a nature chakra. However he maintain middle pack of the class with his other skills. Jiren, 13 Years old and unlike the other two he had no parents.
After saying his three names the others became shocked. They never thought he would make such choices for his students.
Yue: Why not choose the better ones.
Ryu: I like a challenge. Besides it'll be nice when the dead last becomes the best in class.
Pakura: We'll see about that.
Rasa: Don't use this as an excuse later on.
The two also had their own arrogance and wouldn't back down from Ryu no matter what. Yue nodded as he also made some changes to certain squads. The three then got told to go to the academy tomorrow to visit their students.
Next Day Ryu wore his standard uniform with no under shirt and open vest as Hiramekarei rested on his back. His ninja band wrapped around his arm with his hair in a ponytail and two bangs on the side of his face. Arriving at the academy the original memories surfaced as he felt nostalgic.
Walking into the academy he saw Rasa and Pakura. The two also seemed to be nostalgic about the academy. Ryu walked past them as he said
Ryu: If you're gonna cry from your memories due it quickly before your students see you and feel embarrassed.
Rasa: Hmph I was only checking the security problem here.
Pakura: I was merely admiring the landscape.
Ryu: Yeah right
Ryu spoke as he continued to walk. After the three entered he saw the other Jonin and nodded to them. He could see.the shocked gazes as he entered the room. Even some of the mumbled whispers of his deeds. He smiled slightly as Pakura and Rasa entered.
The two also had their own admirers. The instructor then spoke briefly to congratulate the students on passing. After that he left and allowed the Jonin to choose. However Ryu noticed that everyone was looking at him. Smiling he said
Ryu: I guess I go first. Well the students I'll be teaching are Nori, Hina and Jiren.
Class: WHAT
The jonin was shocked by the outburst but after reading the academy script on those names.they also looked surprised. They had the names of their students. They simply wished to see what genius Ryu would choose.
Ryu: Are you surprised I chose them instead of the leading three students.
Student: Yes. I'm better than all of them what do I lack that they have.
Ryu: Well that's simple. You lack oddness. I'll give you an example. My cousin is Sasori a puppet genius but he's incredibly odd. He sits inside of a puppet whenever he leaves the house. So few people know his actual face. Odd behavior but I find it nice to be around. Its never boring. You could be considered a genius and could probably get anything I teach you. Most teachers would prefer that. But I don't its to boring and not fun enough. But a person with no attribute, a sickly guy who persist to be a ninja and a girl who likes setting weird but extraordinary traps is fun. You lack the fun I seek because the fun I seek is from odd people.
Not many understood him but some did.
Rasa: training a genius into a power house although good its not as satisfying as training someone who isn't into one.
Ryu: Exactly. Now you three step forward.
