Alodar has been following Conklin for what seemed like days, but in reality was only about a few hours.
Conklin finally set up base for the night, issuing orders to clear the area.
"Ok everybody, this is where we'll be setting up camp for tonight! Veto! Your team is setting up camp! Zane! Your team is on first duty! Walter! Your team is on cooking duty! Ok, everyone do your job! No slacking! We're leaving tomorrow, early!" Conklin led his team followed him to the corner. Eventually one left for a mission and another took command of the team as he led the team to another location to help Veto and his team.
Conklin stayed behind, watching with vigilance into the distance. His eyes lingered on Alodar's location and Alodar felt a shiver rush through his back.
[Stealth skill upgraded to level 0.3]
Conklin them suddenly stopped looking in Alodar's direction.
'Woah, just Conklin looking at me upgraded my stealth skill, I wonder how strong he is.' Alodar utilized the appraisal skill, which he had never used on anyone else thus far.
The appraisal showed information which shock Alodar.

'What? Why are some of his stats question marks?' Alodar questioned Neowalt, feeling slightly confused.
[This is due to a wide difference of your stat and their stat. For example, since your strength stat is 22 if the opponent has higher than 149 percent of that stat, you would not be able to see it]
'So his strength stat is 33 or higher?'
[Precisely]
'Well... anyway, I can see how he felt me; he has the observe skill.
[Sudden Mission!
Mission: Save the base from the bandits who will be attacking within 00:59:54 minutes.
Reward: 5TP + 2 Luck Points
Summary: Bandits are gonna attack! But how did they find out about us?! There's a secret spy in our midst. He might not be what he seems?!Successfully make sure most of the soldiers survive this attack]
'Luck points?' This stat was new to Alodar, so he questioned Neowalt.
[There are stats which host cannot directly alter. These stats are called 'Locked Stats'. Some of these stats are luck, charisma, willpower, and wisdom. Each point placed in these stats is important due to how powerful they can influence life]
'Ok, I have another question. I've been meaning to ask, but what are the numbers in the parenthesis signifying?'
[They signify the hosts ability in that stat. Once that number is reached, the person would not be able to improve because that is their limit. But host can break that limiter by upgrading it, hence my title; Divine Talent System]
It was a lot to take in, but Alodar slowly thought it through.
He then realized it was time to prepare for the incoming attack. Alodar foraged the forests floors looking for anything to cover his face, making him unrecognizable... maybe.
Alodar found a large leaf and a mud puddle. He put the leaf around his mouth and above his nose. It was uncomfortable but it was necessary to hide his identity. The mud, Alodar plaster on his body and in his hair.
For practice Alodar hunted animals nearby

Conklin watched restlessly on the camps borders. Another man with straight, dark brown shoulder length hair and chocolate brown eyes walked up behind him. This mans name was Veto.
"Sir, the camps been set up. I think you should rest up for tomorrow. A tired captain means a tired crew, at least that's what the pirates at Yellow Bane Coast say. Anyway, you should seriously get some rest. You deserve it." Veto showed his concern by pointing at the biggest tent within the camp. "You can have that one. It's got a nice, comfortable bed and a wash bin to bath in. You also get the softest ground. You should have a dreamful sleep tonight."
Conklin glanced coldly at Veto. "Sorry I can't. The camps not gonna watch itself. Also I felt something. It was faint and it disappeared after I started paying attention, but I think we're being watched." Veto seemed not to take it seriously.
"Nonsense! It was probably just the wind. We are in fact within the Fainted Willow Woods. I'm sure it was nothing! Come on, go to bed." Veto stressed the last few words, emphasizing them. Maybe even trying to hypnotize Conklin to sleep. Conklin stayed unchanged.
"Fine, I'll leave. But don't warn me if tomorrow you wake up drowsy and not ready for duty.!For goodness sake, we're fighting bandits tomorrow!"
"You go to bed, I'll stay and take first watch." Conklin didn't look up and stayed his opinion. Veto seemed angered by this, but it subsided.
He walked away, waving his hand, but for some odd reason he didn't head into his tent. He walked around it and blended into the darkness.

Alodar successfully hunted down many animals, earning him 2TP and 3 strength points.
'At home I would never be able to do this; sneak out and hunt animals, then level up real quick. Wait. Why don't I have a level? Neowalt?' A sudden revelation hit Alodar, a great question.
[Real life does not have levels. While we can simplify your stats into numbers, they are based on attributes, but what are levels based off of?]
'Your right, I guess levels are dumb. Anyway I'm getting a lot stronger quick!' Alodar stats now read:
