Chapter 10: Chapter 10- grocery store
(15 min) I made it to the grocery store and I walked in. I grabbed a basket and began to look around for something I can make for lunch. I looked around for a bit and I see the two girls that gave me the tour around school earlier. I walked up to them and said, "Hi!"
"Hey! How is your room mate?" Moon asked.
"He is good. I need to find enough food for the week," I replied.
"That's cool, do you need any help finding something?" asked Min-Sun.
"No, I'm fine. Thanks for asking, though" I said.
"Then we'll have to get going. Have a good day," Moon said.
"You too," I said and waved goodbye.
After about thirty minutes, I finished shopping and I started walking back to the school. Fifteen minutes later, I entered my dorm and saw my new roommate passed out on the couch. I closed the door quietly and put a blanket over him. I walked to the kitchen and took out all the food I bought to put them in the fridge. After gathering the ingredients I needed, I began to cook. About an hour later, I finished the food and walked into the living room and saw that he was still asleep. I tapped his shoulder in order to wake him up.
"Why did you wake me up?" he grumpily asked.
"I made food," I replied curtly.
"Oh, okay." He got up and headed to a table, ready to eat. I walked to the kitchen, grabbed the food, walked back to the table, put the food onto the table, and sat down.
"What did u make?" he asked.
"I made hoeddeok, budae jjigae, bo ssam, and budae jjigea." He used his chopsticks to grab a piece of budae. After he ate a bite, he gave a happy expression and did nothing else.
"Do you like it?" I asked.
"It's amazing," he said. He grabbed some more food from the other dishes and after we finished eating he helped to clean up the food. After we finished, I let him pick out a movie and he chose one that was romance. After a while of watching the movie, I started feeling tired, and slowly, I drifted to sleep.

While I was engrossed in the movie we were watching, I felt something on my shoulder. I turned my head around and saw her sleeping. I blushed a little as I thought, 'She must be super sleepy from all the work that she did today.' I laid my head down on top of her head, closed my eyes, and fell into a deep sleep as well.
