Seokjin
Hopefully it was his last day as Namjoon's roommate and Jin was overly happy. He was already dressed up and was ready to go but the other was still sleeping. He thought about waking him up but isntead he decided to read and wait for the boy to wake up on his own though he didn't even tried to be quiet and he even kept sneezing loudly, hoping that the other would finally leave the dreamland and Namjoon did, after a good ten minutes.
"You really sleep like a bear. Did you know you snore?"
"What the happy attitude is for?" the younger sounded like a growling bear too.
"Don't you remember? It's Friday. The best day of my life."
"You sound like you're going to your wedding." Namjoon climed out of the bed and went to search for some clothes he would put on after showering.
"Almost! At least the best day as a twenty-five years old man."
"You're that old?" echoed Namjoon's e high pitched voice from the bathroom. "I didn't no I was rooming with a grandpa."
"I told you I'm older than you."
"Well at least you had right in one thing."
Jin left the bed, took the the RayBan Namjoon bought yesterday and went to the mirror and put it on. "Woah! I look so much better in this one."
"It's the same style and by the way who told you it's yours." Namjoon bite back.
Jin turned around, pretending to be hurt. "You bought it for me! What am I suppose to wear now that you broke my dear old one." he blinked like an innocent teenage girl making the younger roll his eyes. "I like this better anyway."
After they both got ready and dressed they went to the headmaster's office, Jin with his brand new sunglasses on his head.
<> o <> o <>
"Welcome boys." said the man as they walked in and took their seats.
"Did you find out what went wrong with our application, sir?" Namjoon asked.
"Yes I did and I'm sorry about this but it wasn't just our fault." explained the man. "Which one of you is Kim Seokjin?"
"It's me, sir." Jin answered and he was more than nervous. Was it really him who messed this up? He's gonna be so dead.
"I'm sorry to say that but you've been robbed."
The room fell into a cold silence and Jin froze into his chair. "What?" he tried to stay calm but he was losing it to easily. He saw Namjoon staring at him from the corner of his eyes. He couldn't read what was written on his face.
"It's seems like someone hacked your credit card and when you transferred the money to us it was actually transferred to his own account. That's why our system didn't sell the room." Jin couldn't speak. It can't be. Not with him. He can't lose his money. He needed that money. He worked days and nights for that money. He just couldn't believe it was taken away from him so easily. "I would suggest you to hire someone so you can may find the person but I can't do anything about this. According to this we have to give the room to the one that's payment was successful."
Jin was speechless. They both started at him with compassion but they didn't really understand what this meant to Jin personally. Seeing that he won't really move Namjoon carefully tried to get his attention. "Jin?" it was successful because he turned his head to the boy then blinked.
"We have some lower class rooms left if you would like to take one." the headmaster offered.
"Yeah I... I'll take a look at them." Jin lied trying to hide how muh he was nervous and puzzled.
"I'm sorry. I hope you can find one for your liking." the man said then the boys left the room.
Jin felt powerless and humiliated. This meant he was broken. He only saved that money so he can stay in that room, he had no other cards and the little money he had left was only enough for buying thing like shampoo and snacks or going to the city center once in a while. He knew he didn't needed more because he will get everything in the dorms. Water, heat, food and a room of course. He paid the room for three years which meant he spend a LOT of money on it. All of his. He put everything into this. He only worked to be able to buy it. Now he felt stupid for paying the room for three years but back then he thought it's the best so he won't spend the same money accidentally on stupid thing. He wanted to have this as a fix point in his life. He didn't know what to do. He can't go back to his grandparents because they live far and he can't afford another room, not even the cheapest one. He literally became homeless.
Namjoon didn't dare to speak but he really didn't understand the other. Of course he was robbed and it was not a little amount of money. He would've been pissed off too, but for someone that could afford that room and for a son of a CEO - which he thought Jin was - it wasn't the end of the world. He can hire a room until someone leave from one of the luxurious ones.
Jin guess Namjoon was thinking about something like this and he decided to pull himself together and not let the other see his misery.
They walked back to the room that was now Namjoon's. The latter didn't mocked him or anything. He lost after all but the situation wasn't a one to make fun of.
"So are you gonna call someone to go after this?" the younger asked.
"Yeah..." Jin lied again. Of course he won't. He didn't even left money for food.
"I'm sorry about this."
"Yeah, I can imagine." Jin didn't wanted to sound rude but he couldn't help it. He was too furious to be nice.
"I mean it." insisted Namjoon.
"Okay. Thanks! But it doesn't help right now." he bursted out a little then put his little suitcase on the bed and opened he wardrobe.
"You... don't have to leave right night you know?" started Namjoon while scratching the back of his head. "You can stay for the night so you won't miss your classes." Jin really appreciated the offer but unless he can't stay for the upcoming three years, it's not really helping. Still he realized that moving out right now was a stupid idea. He can't go anywhere and he does have classes so he just decided to take the offer.
"Thanks." he said with an honest but faint smile then left the room before he would tear up. He couldn't hold it back anymore. He rushed out of the building to the park and let his tears fall like tiny waterfalls.
Hoseok
After they little 'accident' with Taehyung he felt awful. He didn't want to hurt the other, he liked him a lot. He was just too confused. He wasn't the type to do things like this but he still did it and it scared him. He hoped he could talk to the younger after his practice but when he arrived to their room the other was already sleeping. He didn't dare to wake him up so he decided to talk in the morning.
And now here he was, sweating like an idiot waiting for the younger to came out of the restroom.
"Tae? Can we talk?" he started as the other opened the door.
The boy only gave him a sleepy frown. "Now?"
"Yes! I can't wait another day when we're like this. Please, let me explain myself."
"That's my favorite part. Please explain yourself." mocked the younger but there was nothing sweet in his voice.
"I know it doesn't help but I'm really sorry. It was really rude from me to push you away. I just... I just freaked out. It was too fast for me and I didn't know what to do."
"For you?" Taehyung snapped. "You started the whole thing and now you're playing the victim?"
"Geez Tae, no! I know it was me and I don't regret doing it. I just didn't expect it to be this good. I thought it's only gonna be a fast kiss but... you know the rest. We only know each other since four or five days and..."
"I know."
There was a moment of silence.
"I like you a lot." Hoseok continued. "I want this friendship to be better and not ruin it. I'm not saying we should never do this again, but for now... Let's just be friends."
"We really do have smiliar minds." smiled Taehyung. He was thinking about the same. He liked Hoseok and he could imagine them being a couple in the future but not now. No matter how right it sounded, no matter how perfectly they fit together and no matter how much they both wanted that kiss again they knew they should wait.
"So... are we good now?" Hoseok asked in a low voice. Taehyung nodded and Hoseok rushed to the boy and hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much."
"Okay, okay, geez. You're killing me." crying out the younger tried to push him away. Hoseok let him go and then just started at him. "What now?"
"I really like you, you know?" he saw how the other's cheeks turned pink and his smile grew wider.
"I know I am an amazing kisser but already?" joked Taehyung.
"Yah, it's not what I meant. But yeah you really are."
"And I didn't even started." praised himself the younger.
"Are you testing my self-control right now? You can show me what you got anytime you like." smirked Hoseok.
"Oh gosh! No. I don't."
"You know where to find me."
"So are we gonna be like this from now?"
"You started."
"And you continued." added Taehyung with a wicked smirk.
Jimin
After his last dace practice Jimin went to take a shower before meeting up with Yoongi and Taehyung at the usual cafe.
He was walking like if danger was looking at him at every corner. His roommate still didn't get his revenge so he didn't know when will he bite back. He closed the door behind him and started to undress himself. Since he forgot to wash his hair yesterday he stepped into the shower and started shampooing his hair while hummings some random songs.
After he was done he stepped out from the shower and started to dry himself. He put on his clothes then went to the mirrors to brush his hair.
........
There was a moment of silence as he just stood there like a stone, watching himself in the mirrow.
He then woke from his trance and ran his fingers through his hair.
He was furious in the inside but like some psychopath, he put on that calm face and started to jolt his shoulders. "Okay... It's okay...It's not that bad." he kept telling this to his reflection in a high voicethen he screamed out so loud it was a miracle no one came to see what's going on with him.
Yoongi
"Jimin?" three pairs of wide eyes stared at him when the boy entered the cafe. He didn't answer just sat down calmly between Yoongi and Namjoon. They all remained silent and started sipping from their drinks awkwardly.
"Umm?" Taehyung tried to break the silence.
"YES! IT'S PINK!" snapped Jimin out of the blue making the other three jump in their seats.
"It's..."
"Don't!" cut him of Jimin. "My remnant virility is gone."
"I like it. It fits you actually." spoke up Yoongi.
Jimin shoot fires at him. "You're just making it worst, you know?"
"Yoongi's right! You look like one of those Korean idols." said Namjoon but it only made Jimin cover his head. It's not like he didn't like dying his hair but PINK? REALLY? He had to admit his opponent was a worthy one. Jimin only made his teeth look blue for a day but this will last till weeks. It didn't look that bad on him but the fact that that little evil squirrel did this to him... didn't make him happy.
"So what's your next move?" asked Taehyung, curiosity burning in his eyes.
"May I ask you, what is this all about?" Namjoon added.
"His roommate is a brat. They keep playing this little game since... two days?" answered Yoongi.
"It seems like years! And we just only started." growled the pink.
"Well this one's a good one. Have fun with figuring out a good payback." Taehyung was right. Jimin had no idea what to do but he will figure out something for sure. He can't let the other win.
"Thanks! I'll go now. My classes are done and I have to release my anger somewhere."
"Where are you going?" asked Yoongi even though he already knew the answer.
"You know where and don't even start it."
"I just don't like the idea of you going there every second day." hissed the pale one. "You don't even need that. You have enough training as a dancer and you're body already looks like you're some kind of mini Greek god. You're obsessed!"
Taehyug wasn't surprised by his friend's sudden change in tone but Namjoon raised a brow. Taehyung heard this conversation for the hundredth time. Yoongi hated the fact the Jimin went to the GYM so much. Not because he was against Jimin's healthy aspirations but because of his friend actual heath. He knew that Jimin was obsessed with his body. When he was younger people called him fat because of his chubby cheeks so he decided to do something against it and started to go to the GYM. It was okay in the beginning but it went out of hands really quickly. Jimin wanted the process to be as fast as possible and he started to starve himself. Yoongi had to watch as his friend's eyes got darker day by day and how he became a walking skeleton. He didn't want to repeat that.
It was the past. After Jimin was told that he's suffering from anorexia and got kicked out of his dance lessons he ended the diets. It was only a short period of his life and he got himself together fast, as soon as he realized that it was against his dancing career but still it had after affects, like he couldn't eat as much as before and he never ever let himself gain too much weight again. Jimin became a really attractive men through years and to life's greatest irony it became his new problem. But it's a different story, right now none of these were the reason behind Yoongi's objection.
"I'm not! I only go there twice a week and I know my limits."
Yoongi's greatest problem was that Jimin had recurring asthma and he knew it could be triggered by work outs and increased heart beats. He knew everything about asthma since his best friend was suffering from it. After he witnessed the very first attack that Jimin had at the age of eleven, he was more prepared then Jimin's own parents. He never ever wanted to see his friend like on that day. He felt like it was his duty to take care of the younger and now that they were far away from their home he was more protective than ever.
"Just don't overwork yourself. Please!"
Taehyung was amused by how Jimin was the only person that could make their hyung show so many emotions. He envied their relationship a lot. Yoongi did take care of him too but it was far from what he did for Jimin. After all they knew each other for longer than him so he wasn't jelous.
"I always do." smiled Jimin then left them behind. Namjoon looked at them questioning the previous happenings.
"He's just inclinable of overdoing it." Yoongi didn't want to tell the whole story to Namjoon. It wasn't his thing to worry about.
"I start to believe that he and my friend has more in common that I thought. I should really introduce them one day."
"Good luck with that." said Yoongi still watching Jimin as he was walking away.
Jungkook
Just as always he was really proud of himself. Did he regret what he had done? No! Not for a moment. His roommate had to bare that pink nest on his head for weeks and he couldn't be happier about it. He was holding his brush few centimeter away from his painting and smirked like an idiot.
"Jeon Jungkook" his teacher called.
"Yes?"
"Class is almost over and you still didn't finish your work. Where's your mind now?" Jungkook loved that teacher, She came from France and she was really young and lively. She always spoke like she was friends with her students. Jungkook thought it's just a French thing and he liked it a lot.
"Sorry Loise, I was just thinking about something."
"Don't tell me you're daydreaming about a girl."
"No!" he protested so fast and with such a sharp voice his teacher raised a brow. "I mean, it's not that."
"Not like I don't want a young man like you to find someone, but I won't be happy if it's against my favorite student's work."
"Don't worry. There's nothing in this word that can stand between me and my paintings. Never." Jungkook said with a playful smile.
"Never say never." the woman said then walked away. Jungkook just rolled his eyes on the sentence.
Class really ended before he could finish his painting but he had no inspiration so he decided to go to the GYM to refres his brain. A lot of student went there at this hour but he only saw that pink head even though it was shorter then most of the other heads. He couldn't help but smile at his masterpiece.
"The girl's section is on the right."
The addressed boy turned around and his smile immediately faded. "Then why are you here?"
"Uh, someone's sassy today. I like your hair by the way. It really brings out your... inner.. wild self." Jungkook smirked.
Jimin puckered his lips and gosh... Jungkook cursed him for doing such an alluring thing in front of him. "You think? Then I didn't thank enough to the hairdresser."
"And how do you plan to thank him?" the younger asked leaning closer to Jimin's face. There were a lot of boys around but he couldn't care less. It was all part of the game.
The shorter showed a soft, flirting smile, then whispered into Jungkook's ear. "You'll see."
Jungkook shivered as the hot air hit his earlobes but pulled away before the other could notice it. His ears were his biggest weakness. "Can't wait for it." he said acting as cool as he could then went to sit down on a weight-lifting machine. The other was already done with his workout so he was about to go.
"See you later brat."
"It's not like I have a choice." bite back Jungkook. This little fur ball was really something. He was more dashing that he would've thought but he liked it. It was more challenging for him this way. And he loved challenges.
Namjoon
He felt really guilty for feeling happy. He was waiting for this moment so much but he couldn't deny that he felt bad for Jin. Someone stole a lot of money and his room from him. If it would've been him he would've gone after the man already. He felt bad but since he knew he would be alright he didn't bother much. After his day ended he went back to the dorms.
When he entered the the room it was all empty. As if Jin wasn't even there before. It felt strange and a bit cold. Namjoon pulled out his suitcases from under the bed then started packing out his clothes. As he opened the wardrobe doors a light scent of lavender hit his nose.
Deep inside he hoped this scent would stay in the room.
Deep inside he hoped he would meet the blonde again.
And that moment came sooner than he thought.
