Chapter 48: The Sky Bandit
Koji opened his eyes. His head felt really heavy and dizzy. He saw his surrounding went devastated. He tried to take his glasses which was dropped near him.
'This is bad, he took Rian away.' Koji sighed.
He got up and he saw something strange on his glasses. Why were his glasses glowing red? As he remembered, he never changed the frame. He took them and a red little girl came out from the lens out of the blue.
Koji was captivated seeing that girl who stared at him in wonder.
'Onii-chan?' She said.
'Aww, what a cute loli.' He said eagerly.
That girl was really cute and adorable like a little girl in anime who always ends up into fap material for pedophile weebs.
'Onii-chan?' She said.
Koji awoke from his delusion. He didn't realize that he almost unzipped his jeans. What a pathetic weeb.
'Oh, yeah. Who are you?' He asked.
'My name is Kacino. The incarnation of your power.' She said innocently.
'Power? What do you mean?' Koji raised his eyebrow.
Suddenly, his phone was ringing. It was Indra, he then picked it up.
'What?'
'Koji, where are you?'
'Campus.'
'Meet me at the hideout, quick!'
'Very well.'
Indra rarely asked him to meet him. It means something strange had happened, though it just happened to him.
'Was he attacked too?' Koji wondered. 'Kacino, can you go back to my glasses?' He asked.
'Ok, onii-chan.' Kacino returned to his glasses.
Koji had no idea why a loli could come out from his glasses and why that white polka dot cloaked guy attacked him and abducted Rian. There were so many strange things happened today, but standing still wouldn't take him anywhere. Koji then put his glasses on and rushed to the hideout.
Koji slowly opened the door and he saw Indra and a guy in his age sitting cross-legged there.
'What's up?' Koji asked sitting cross-legged.
Indra put his shoes and Cupidilon came out from his shoes.
'I'm sure you have this thing.' Indra said.
'Well, she just came out before you gave me a ring.' Koji put off his glasses and Kacino came out from the lenses.
'You cheater! Why your Ribo is a little girl while mine is a gay?!' Indra exclaimed irritatedly.
'Whom did you call "gay"?!' Cupidilon exclaimed irritatedly.
'Perhaps it's a sign that you have to atone for your sins.' Koji said casually.
'Look who's talking! You are also a sinner, dumbass!' Indra exclaimed irritatedly.
'Wait, what do you mean by Ribo?' Koji asked.
'So you also have no idea what just happened to you, I guess?' The guy said.
He closed his tome and snatched Koji's glasses.
'Hey!' Koji asked.
'These are your Jowa, and that red loli is your Ribo. Sounds funny, but both of you have awakened Doki-doki.' He explained tossing the glasses to Koji's eyes.
'What a weeb.' Koji and Indra said.
'You don't believe me, eh?' He opened his hand and absorbed Kacino and Cupidilon to his palm.
'Hey! What did you do?!' Koji exclaimed irritatedly.
'Relax, I'll return them to you when the time comes. Now, come with me.'
Suddenly, everything went black and they found themselves on a little island.
'What?! Where are we?!' Indra wondered.
'What do you want from us?!' Koji exclaimed.
'Relax, I just want you to learn and master this power.' He said.
'Power? Do you mean something you call Doki-doki?' Koji asked.
'Exactly, so, will you listen to me?' He asked. 'You cannot run as no one here but us, and I am the only one who can take you back.' He added.
'So, we have no choice but to believe in you, right?' Indra asked.
'Exactly.' He said.
'Alright, speak up.' Koji said.
He then opened his tome.
'Alright, let the class begin. Doki-doki 101.' He said. 'Human had been given an incredible gift called mind. With such a gift, they can think logically and imaginatively that we can make use so many convenient things like the Internet, Anime, Comiket, etc. They tend to think logically instead of imaginatively that they end up living like a zombie which they only know what is correct and what is incorrect. They hate incorrect things and consider anything correct as something normal. Quick question: How to get a girl you like?'
'Getting know to her and marrying her?' Koji answered.
'Impregnating her?' Indra answered.
'Wrong. The way is to approach her and drag her to your house. Dress her up like your ideal woman and rape her that her mind breaks that she will always think about you and your dick.' He explained.
"He has lost his mind." They said in their mind.
'What's with that look? Marriage is not the only way to get a girl, right? You can just kidnap her or simply adopt a little girl if you want to.'
'IT'S A CRIME, DUMBASS!' They exclaimed irritatedly.
'I just asked the way, right? So, there's nothing wrong, right?'
"He has lost his mind." They said in their mind.
'Mindblowing, eh? It's because I tend to think imaginatively instead of logically. Do you think everything started from logic thoughts? Then please explain how did they invent a lamp, the telephone, or even a sex doll? It's because they were imagining things that would be convenient for them. And this is what I want to show you.'
He opened his hand and absorbed a palm tree to his palm. Koji and Indra were shocked by what they just saw.
'Doki-doki.'
'Ca... Can a human really do that?' Koji asked.
'A... Are you Miroku's descendant? Did he marry Sango or he had his own harem kingdom instead?' Indra asked.
'I don't understand what you talking about, Indra. I don't watch InuYasha as it was banned by KPI (Indonesian Airing Commission). I don't want to watch the original version as I am so horny hearing Kagome Indonesian dubbed voice.'
"Asshole." They said in their mind.
'If you exploit your imaginative thought, you can awake this power. Yet, the process is kinda complicated, but it looks like someone have given you the power, so you guys just need to develop it.'
'Someone gave us the power?' Koji said.
"Don't tell me?! If he did, what for?" Koji thought.
'And it looks like you haven't decide your power, right?' He asked.
'What do you mean?' Koji asked.
'This is the interesting part of Doki-doki. Just like a game, you can decide your own power, but once it's settled, you can't change it. For instance, my power is absorbing, and I can't change the power of mine into anything else.' He explained.
'You must wonder "What do I have this power for?", I guess? Isn't it clear already?'
"Rian!"
'And you must want to find the friend of yours, I guess?'
'Who are you?' Koji asked.
'Oh, it's not really necessary. I'm here just to guide you for free.'
'Why are you doing this?'
'Dunno, I'm just bored.' Dia closed his tome.
He flicked his finger. Everything turned black and they found themselves in the hideout, yet the guy was nowhere to be found.
'Indra, who the hell is he?'
'Dunno, he came out of the blue and gave me this power. He asked me to invite you here.'
'Indra...'
'What.'
'If that's true that he gave you that power, then can you give me a hand?''
'Saving Rian and finding Alfi, right?'
'He told you, I guess?'
'Well, it was shocking knowing that Rian is abducted and Alfi goes missing.'
'Who the hell is he anyway?'
'I dunno, but if we want to save those two, we need to form a guild and invite members.' Indra said excitedly.
'As I thought that you would be worked up.' Koji sighed.
'Of course! This is a chance that we can live like in an MMO game! We build a guild, save people, and save the world! And of course, we can have our own harem afterward!' Indra exclaimed.
'And I guess you have the name for our guild already, eh?'
'Of course! Just like our guild, Sky Bandit!' Indra exclaimed.
They started their journey as Sky Bandit with that mysterious guy's guidance. They annihilated small fries while looking for intel about Alfi and Rian whereabout. Koji chose flame sword as his power like the char from the game he played. I forgot what the name is and I am so lazy to figure it out as currently, my supervisor is watching me whether I am working or slacking off by writing this story instead. While Indra chose kick like Sanji. What a bunch of weebs.
One day, Koji and Indra were in a market district in Bandung to gather some intel about Alfi whereabout while looking for an inn. Koji and Indra explored that dirty road. People and vehicles strolling around every time as the market is a busy district. The smell of meat, fish, muffler must be mixed and ends up an origin scent of market district, and it's just normal. Anyone must see some bottles of formalin and borax at the roadside making the market district into real gacha. What happens if you are not lucky enough? Absolute death.
In their way, Koji saw a guy being pursued by some dirtbags.
'Indra, I'm going. I'll catch you up.' Koji said following them.
He was running as fast as possible passing sorrow alleys so they would lose him, but they just kept pursuing him that he ended up finding a dead end.
'Where are you going now?' One of them said.
The chill sent to his spine. He got nowhere to run. He didn't want to give them the money he earned with all of his might, yet it was impossible for him to match 10 persons whose bodies were just like a thousand-year rhino.
'Give me your money?!' He exclaimed.
'I don't want to....' He tried to argue.
'If you don't want to, then...' He raised his arm, but suddenly it was on fire.
He was panicked and shook his hand that it put off already.
'Sorry for interrupting. I just can't stand to see a hard worker getting bullied.' Koji said.
'Don't get in the way!' He launched his fist to Koji.
Koji caught his arm and broke it with the handle of his sword. Koji then shoved him away with the back of his sword.
'You are so pathetic if you do that just for money.' Koji said. 'Any arms to break?' He said giving a cold gaze to them.
They were frightened by the intimidation gaze Koji gave to them and then they ran away. Koji approached the guy and said, 'You ok?'
'Yes.' He said.
'Then, be careful next time. I am go-'
He held Koji's arm. Koji turned around, and said, 'What is it?'
'If you don't mind, I want to treat you in my house. It's a gratitude token.'
'Nah. I did it not for that.'
'Please!'
Koji sighed and accepted the offer. Koji took his phone and asked Indra to meet him at the guy's house.
His house was a vile house in the market district. They entered it and saw a desk and some heaps of old books in every corner. He then took a seat on a big heap of books and let them sit on another heap of books in front of him.
'Oh yeah, I haven't introduced myself, eh? My name is Katon. I am a novelist.' He introduced himself.
'Really?' Koji asked.
'Well, it' doesn't sell much though.' Katon said.
'Anyway, have you seen this guy?' Koji shows Alfi's photograph to Katon.
'Oh?! This guy?! I met him yesterday. He saved me from those thugs, yet he just let them wreck him up instead.' Katon explained.
"Dumbass." Koji said in his mind.
'But, it looked like he enjoyed getting wrecking up by them. He even screamed in euphoria like a sick masochist.' Katon added.
"What a sick masochist!! Why do I have such a friend?!" Koji screamed in his mind.
'You got a bunch of strange friends, eh?' Indra asked.
'And you are one of them.' Koji replied.
'Cut the crap!' Indra exclaimed.
Katon burst out a laugh and said, 'Hey, do you mind if I join with you guys?'
'That might be a good idea.' The guy with tome suddenly appeared.
'You!' Koji was surprised.
'Katon, right? Do you really wish to join the Sky Bandit?' He asked.
'The Sky Bandit? What is that?' Katon asked.
'Let's say that it's our guild. We desperately need new members. Will you join with us?' He held Katon's hands.
'Ok. I also have fed up by those thugs. So please, allow me to join you guys.' Katon asked.
'But, it won't be an easy excursion. Not to mention he is not a Doki-doki user.' Koji said.
'Doki-doki?' Katon looked confused.
'No worries.' He opened his tome. 'Say, Katon, do you have something precious to you?' He asked.
'Yes, I do.' Katon pulled a black pen out of his pocket. 'This pen is really precious to me. It's a memento of my late best friend. He loved writing and he loved my writing. He is the one who made me want to be a great novelist like him.' He added.
'I guess it's enough. Now, extend your arm while holding it.' He said.
Katon followed his instruction. He enchanted a rune spell (I guess?). Green Iru came out from the book and seeped in the pen.
'Now, it has become your Jowa, the source of your power. I'll leave the rest to you guys.' He said disappearing before they very eye.
'Who is he?' Katon asked.
'Don't ask us. We don't know nor wanna know who the hell he is.' They said.
'A... Alright.' Katon said awkwardly.
Suddenly a heavy strike heard from the back of the door. It became louder and louder like someone was trying to smash the door that made three of them vigilant. The door went broken and they saw so many thugs with an unpleasant look on their faces.
'Where the heck are you, Katon?!' A bald guy who seemed to be their leader exclaimed.
'They just didn't get their lesson, eh?' Koji sighed.
'The heck were you doing?' Indra asked.
'I just broke one of their member's arm.' Koji said casually.
'Asshole.' Indra said.
'Chill. I'm not in the mood to waste your pathetic lives.' Koji said.
'Hohoho... Don't get so cocky. Wreck them all!' They came to three of them.
Koji and Indra beat them up one by one, while Katon was hiding behind that big heap of books. Koji broke their arms and Indra just simply kicked their head that they collapsed. The bald guy destroyed those books getting Katon's nerve. He hopped and pulled out his pen. The pen suddenly turned into an iron staff piercing his body. Katon pulled the smeared blood iron staff of his out of his body. His body fell and the blood from his blood scattered as the body kept bleeding. Seeing it sent chills on their spines that made them run leaving Katon's house.
'It's enough for ruining my life, bastard!' Katon exclaimed.
That iron staff turned back to pen. Katon looked confused to what just happened to him. Koji and Indra approached him.
'Guys, what just happened to me?' Katon asked.
'You just awoke your power. That's Doki-doki, the power focused on one's imagination. I guess it's easy for you as you are a novelist.' Koji said.
'So, something like this does exist, eh?' Katon asked.
'It does.' Indra said.
'Magnificent! It means we'll face so many fights, right? Then, I willingly join you guys!' Katon exclaimed zealously.
"A weeb, a playboy, and now we have a psychopath. Fuck my life." Koji sighed in his mind.
They heard a sob out of the blue. They approached the source and found a fat guy and a skinny guy.
'Please give us some mercy!' The fat guy begged them.
'We'll do anything you say, so please forgive us!' The skinny guy begged them.
'How about joining us?' The guy with tome appeared.
'Hey!' Koji, Indra, and Katon exclaimed.
After that event, The Sky Bandit had 5 members, Koji, Indra, Katon, and 2 guys named Iqbal and Reza. The number of members keeps increasing that they have more than 50.000 members as they joined for the privilege, VIP member for any internet cafes in Indonesia. It made them have to order uniforms on clothing shop, make masks on online mask crafter, and order swords at the blacksmith. One day, Koji got intel about Alfi's whereabouts. Five of them rushed to the location. After they found Alfi, they got another intel about Kartika's whereabouts out of the blue. Koji then had Iqbal and Reza meet Kartika. And then? Please kindly read chapter 1.
'You bastard! Why did you make a role of Rape/Ugly Bastard anyway?!' Koji yelled at them.
'We got horny.' Iqbal said.
'Asshole!' Koji hit their heads with his sheathed sword.
Mereka saw Pinto flying through the sky out of the blue.
'What is that?!' Koji exclaimed.
'It looks like your friend, Alfi is the Alfa.' The guy with tome appeared.
'Alfi is the Alfa?! Alfa the world protector?!' Koji was shocked.
He just nodded.
'It means he shoulders a great fate. I suggest you as the captain of the Sky Bandit to assist him. Your guild will be a great help for Alfi, no the Alfa.' He said.
Koji nodded.
'Any objection?' Koji asked.
'This Kartika, she is so cute. I will put my life at stake for an angel like her.' Indra said.
'It means we'll encounter stronger foes, right?! Want! Want!' Katon exclaimed.
Iqbal and Reza hadn't woken up, so they had no objection.
'Very well, we'll assist him. With Alfi with us, I think it will be easier to save Rian.' Koji said.
'I appreciate that. Now, let me help you to see him.' He said opening his tome and starting enchanting a rune spell (I guess?).
A white light appeared on the ground and launched them really far.
"Alfi, wait for me."
It sent them flying really far that it took 5 chapters for them to land and see Alfi.
'IWAE!!!' They exclaimed irritatedly.
