Chapter 3: Interlude
Not wanting to think about the situation at hand, Yuuto stepped off the bed, still in his striped pajamas.
"Nejire-neesan, let's get ready for school! Remember? It's April!"
Today was the day that school started for Yuuto and his sister, it would be his first year would it be would her third year.
It was to Yuuto's luck that he had such an amazing sister. Nejire was a part of the Big 3, the strongest three students in U.A. High; it is even rumored that they had already surpassed the pro-heroes!
Because of his sisters status, she recommended Yuuto to the board, and he was instantly accepted into the school without him even taking the entrance exam! There were only a few students who were recommended like he was: Shoto Todoroki, Momo Yaoyorozu, and another student from Class 1-B interestingly enough.
"Ohhhh~ I just remembered." Nejire didn't react that much. To her, school was just a chore, but at least she would have her brother with her!
"Come on, get up already. Yuyu-san isn't here today, so we'll have to eat outside unless we want to be late!"
Yuyu Haya is Nejire's best friend; she would always come to cook for them because she knew that the siblings couldn't. She didn't come as she had to prepare for school.
"Didn't you promise that you'll cook for my smile?" Nejire asked.
"My sweet younger brother is actually a liar? Show me your pinky!"
Yuuto didn't know how to reply as he stood there.
"Just joking~ I don't want Yuuto to be late or else he'll leave a bad impression on his classmates! First days are important!" She said as she walked out of his room.
"..." Yuuto followed her through the hallway. He stopped by the door with "Nejire (◕‿◕✿)" written on it. He noticed that the door had a lot of dust accumulated on it.
"Come on~ Let's go~"
Her soft voice downstairs interrupted his thought and he sped up his pace.
The Hado house was medium-sized, it had two floors and a small garden on the side. Stone walls surrounded the house and near the entrance was a tall cherry blossom tree that was almost as tall as the house itself.
As he walked down, he could see that his sister was brushing her teeth and he sat by the chair waiting for her.
"Come here Yuuto~"
Not knowing why she asked, he went into the open bathroom. She was already done brushing her teeth as apparent by her glistening white teeth smiling at him. She held up a wet towel and dragged him closer, wiping his face for him.
Yuuto had to admit it felt nice, she didn't apply too much force nor did she apply too little. Nejire smiled as she then washed the towel again and then wiped her face and promptly walked out.
"I'll be waiting for you~ Don't bring your keys because we'll be going home together~"
Yuuto started to brush his teeth. He stared at the mirror in front of him, he had short periwinkle hair, but it wasn't 'curvy' or 'twisty' like his sisters, his royal blue eyes were rather beautiful to look at though! His smooth skin made him happy as he had rough skin in his previous life.
As he finished, he walked out to see his sister already dressed for school. She wore the standard U.A. uniform and a waistcoat. She just waited as she sat on the chair, her feet swinging around as she hummed a random song.
Yuuto ran up to his room; his closet was rather plain. Just a few colored t-shirts with no design. He was fine with it though; he didn't want to be too eye-catching. As long as he earned enough money to sustain a decent lifestyle as an ordinary hero, then that's all he needed!
'Is my uniform not here?' He turned around only to find his uniform on his bed already ironed out. Even the tie had was done correctly! Everything was laid out so perfectly if he had a phone he would've taken a picture!
He quickly put it on and ran downstairs, his sister observing him as he walked closer.
"How do I look?"
He posed for his sister, wearing the standard male uniform: a light gray blazer with dark turquoise trimmings over a white dress shirt and dress pants, along with a red tie and plain brown shoes.
"You look great~" She smiled as they walked out of the house together.
As they opened the door, Nejire latched onto his arm. The two then walked into the bustling streets of Tokyo.
It was awkward for Yuuto, with so many people staring at them but the instant they realized that they were siblings, they returned to business.
It was a short walk to U.A. High; it was massive as it rivaled that of top college campuses! 'Well, it is the #1 ranking High School in Japan after all.'
The buildings of U.A. towered over the city; it was a beautiful sight to behold. The two walked in through the massive gate nicknamed the "U.A. Barrier" and as they reached the entrance of the Hero Department Building, two security guards stood up, about to check if they matched their student identification card. However, due to how closely he resembled his famous sister, the guards sat down without even checking.
"Welcome to U.A.~"
