Chapter 7: Shrek City & Plans
After becoming a couple, LeiYu and Snow became a lot closer. They sat next to each other cuddling for the rest of the trip, much to the displeasure of Icy. They travelled south, crossing over the Icebound forest and mountains of the north. Finally leaving the spirit beast territory and into the Heaven Duo Empire. They could have arrived in an instant with Niao's crazy speed, but LeiYu wanted to enjoy the journey because everything in this world was fresh to him. He had seen it before in the manga's but being able to see it all In person excited him.
'Alright I need to go over everything I know, I've only read the manhua and a small amount of the novel so there are many things I don't know that happens towards the end. The timeline I'm in is the second series when Huo Yuhao was born, I have Snow and Ice with me so I owe him a little already…ill have to find a way to help him later on. First I need to find out what time exactly I was sent to, what age is everyone at so I can figure out where exactly I stand. I know Huo Yuhao cant be older then 12 because Snow was still a fetus in the north and Ice was not a spirit ring. I want to enter the school with Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong, so I might need to find a way to adjust our bodies age if their older. There is also the problem of Snowy and Icy being able to study there, I guess I could go directly to Mu En and get them in. Also the matters with the Holy Ghost Church, they will be easy to get rid of later on but should I just go and destroy them? We can figure that all out later I guess. Okay first stop is the Shrek City.'
Before long the tri arrived at Shrek City, thanks to LeiYu's Eye of Illusion no one noticed them. Rather then going directly to seek out Mu En, LeiYu decided to pick up some information from the townsfolk first. Finding a place to stay for a few nights wasn't a challenge thanks to LeiYu's interference, he used his Eyes, which he is finding more and more useful, to make the inn owner think they were average looking adults who paid for 2 rooms, one single and one double.
This way they wont attract unnecessary attention to themselves being 3 otherworldly beautiful children can be rough. After getting the girls settled down in their room, LeiYu went down by himself and got something to drink while using his eyes to scan the city, and more importantly Shrek academy. When he scanned over Shrek he managed to see someone he was familiar with and was a character in the manhua he felt no small amounts of pity towards, Ma Xiaotao.
She looked to be around 16 years old but she didn't look any less stunning then she was in the manhua. LeiYu could sense that Holy Ghost Church had already gotten their hands on her, tainting her once vibrant flame, with darkness. Seeing her LeiYu had an epiphany. 'I see! How could I have not thought of that?! From the moment I came to this world the two of us were already connected by the stings of fate. I wont let her suffer this time. She looks about 16 or so, meaning it wont be long before Huo Yuhao comes to the academy, perfect.'
Heading back up to the second floor, LeiYu knocked on the girls door. It wasn't long before Snow opened the door and let him inside. Sitting on the bed to the left, Icy looked over before turning her head with a 'humph' sound. Not paying to much attention to her, LeiYu sat on the bed opposite her with Snow to his left.
"We need to talk about our plan for the future. I'm preparing to enter Shrek Academy during the next acceptance period and spend a few years there, you guys are welcome to join me and ill help you get stronger and protect you. I think joining would help the two of you get used to humans faster though. As it stands the two of you are still quite weak, only hitting level 10 and getting your first rings. Even though in your 2nd spirits you each have a +100,000 year old ring, its better to keep that hidden when in human territory so we don't attract even more attention then you will being spirit beasts."
(Author's Note: For those who might be confused, I mentioned it during the ritual chapter. Reincarnated spirit beasts get their first six rings free. Snow and Ice both became level 10 during the ritual acquiring their first rings for free on their main spirit essence. Snow then got Ice's +100,000 year old spirit ring for her second essence and Ice got her clansman +100,000 year old spirit ring for hers. LeiYu wants them to use their main essence until their strong enough to protect themselves, and by that time he plans to get them a full set of +100,000 year old spirit rings.)
"Yes we understand Yu, I would like to go with you to the academy. After all I promised to stay by your side from now on after all. Icy will come as well, we cant very well leave her alone." (Snow)
"Snow…"
"Yu…" (Snow)
"Stop!!! Please don't show your lovey doveyness in front of others!!" (Ice)
Preventing the two from entering their own little world, which they happen to do often. Ice brought up the topic of the academy, which led to the two girls getting excited and asking LeiYu many questions late into the night. He had other plans for them though, and after answering their questions, he talked things out with them before returning to his room. He wanted to be well rested for tomorrow.
Snow's Inner thoughts: '*Sigh* I wish I was able to sleep with Yu...Kyaa!! Wha...What are your thinking about Snow!?! We aren't ready for that!....but...'
Although LeiYu had wanted them to be well rested, sadly neither girl would be getting much sleep. As one (Snow) was lost in her delusions and the other (Ice) forced to listen as she shifted and squirmed about in her bed. Hearing the strange giggling sounds coming from the other side of the room, as if a demon, playing with its pray. Ice couldn't help but shutter.
The next day once again the three gathered in the girls room.
"Okay today, as we talked about yesterday, ill be starting the plan now."
"Will this really work? Will we really age 5 years in only 6 months? I just don't understand how that's even possible…" (Ice)
"Don't worry I have a good grasp on my powers, everything will be fine besides we will be together anyways."
Originally LeiYu had planned to visit Mu Lao and gain entrance into the academy, but thanks to seeing Ma Xiaotao and confirming the timeline he decided to hold off on going to Mu Lao and do something different.
LeiYu's new plan was like this, he knew that it wasn't long before Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong entered the academy. It should be during the next acceptance period in just over half a year. If he wanted to enter at the same time as them, then he needed to age his body from its current 6 year old self, into a 10-12 or so year old body. Although it would be possible for him to make use of his abilities to modify his body to a degree, now though, he needed to bring the two girls in with him. They have the appearance of a 6 year old child and it will be easier if they all looked like 11-12 year old's.
So LeiYu will be using his 4th Eyes of Space and 5th Eyes of Time, god rings. He plans to create a separate 'space' similar to how spatial storage devices work, but rather he will be creating a 'world' where they will be able to live comfortable for 5 years. After creating the world and entering it, LeiYu will activate his Eyes of Time making the world age 10 times faster, then the world of Douluo. The theory is, LeiYu will be creating a 'boat' then pushing the 'boat' into a 'whirlpool' bringing it to the 'river' of time. The 'boat' will then travel down the 'river' 10 times faster then the 'river' is flowing, before exiting through a 'whirlpool' connecting back to the Douluo world. This would allow them to spend 5 years in the world he made and come back with only 6 months passing. Just making it in time for the entrance exams to enter the academy.
"Ready girls?"
LeiYu asked one last time while taking Snow's left hand into his right, and Ice's right hand in his left. After getting their confirmation, the three people disappeared from the room, as if a drop of water causing ripples in water.
