Chapter 35: His Name Is Popo
Popo continued to walk towards him while he kept on saying " What better way to improve than in battle? So every day we will fight... Until you can master your strange transformations to a level I deem good or you defeat me"
Popo is now standing in front of Guy giving him the same look as before as he said with slight battle intent "Don't hold back Maggot or I will kill you"
Guy for the first time in his first life felt like he would die. He jumps back 10 meters immediately going to the third gate. His white skin turns bright red as whitish red Ki surges out of his body. Popo continues to walk towards Guy not even acknowledging his power up as he said. "I won't repeat myself maggot don't hold back or I will kill you!"
Guy knew he was serious so he went to his current max. Guy opened the 4th gate and topped God speed with it. The surge of whitish red ki flared even further as yellow lighting arches off his body and energy. Popo now looks at the bright red Guy with a constantly surging powerful ki come from his body as he motions Guy to come to him. "Come on maggot I don't have all day"
Guy instantly disappears from his spot as he appears in front of Mr. Popo. He throws a powerful punch which easily gets blocked. Guy didn't let up as he threw a volley of powerful punches that all got easily blocked or deflected by Popo who just said simply "Good technique but lacks creativity"
Mr. Popo grabs the fist and throws Guy away who lands a few meters away. Popo continues to say "I can tell your holding back some techniques Guy bring them out or you won't improve from here on"
Guy had many techniques from his past life that might work but it wasn't strong enough to defeat him. He had only one technique in mind but it was only strong enough to maybe restrain him. As Guy kept thinking of techniques that could defeat Popo. He realized something very simple. 'If my attack can restrain him... I can hit him with everyone I got!'
Guy looks at Popo with a look of confidence as he says "Brace yourself"
Guy took off in a flash as he runs circles around Mr. Popo who looked unamused seeing him picking up a wind storm with the speed he was generating. Suddenly Guy stopped before he shouted out "FIRST STEP!"
Guy punched out with all of his strength as an air cannon from the force appears hitting Mr. Popo. Who didn't move at all from the breeze of the air cannon? It didn't stop there as Guy appeared behind Popo and shouts out again "SECOND STEP!"
A second air cannon is there blocking Popo from moving back if he wanted to. This continues as Guy keeps shouting out from different positions
"THIRD STEP!"
FOURTH STEP!
FIFTH STEP!"
Now Air cannons are hitting Popo from the front, back, left, and right sides. Also for extra measure, he used another attack from above to keep him from jumping away. Popo stood there still as if he is unable to move as Popo thinks 'Interesting technique using the strength of his body to create air cannon that can restrain opponents on similar levels. But how will he go from here...'
When Guy saw Mr. Popo was (Restrained) and couldn't move. He focused his energy into his hands forming small baseball-sized energy balls as he launched them into the air cannon. When the energy ball got into the air cannon it was launched towards Mr. Popo and a small explosion happened with the collision of the energy ball and Mr. Popo. Guy wasn't done yet as he started to shoot multiple energy ball attacks into the 5 air cannons as they constantly collided with Mr. Popo.
Mr. Popo lightly raised his guard with a thoughtful smirk. 'Good job Guy with this combo you could even defeat people stronger than you if you could keep this up but sadly for you your still too weak.'
A minute passes with Guy shooting an endless barrage of energy attacks at Mr. Popo with the air cannons. After the minute Guy was breathing heavily only to see an unharmed Mr. Popo with slightly just ever so slightly damaged clothes. Mr. Popo patted the dust off his clothes as if saying "Are you done now?"
Guy lowered to the ground while taking deep breaths as he turned off the 8 gates and godspeed. Popo simply looked at Guy and said "Smart plan but you lack the strength to make it effective against me"
Guy nodded as he continued to keep taking smaller deep breaths as he said. "Are we continuing this right now?"
Guy got into his fighting stance while taking regular breaths now as he looked at Mr. Popo with a look saying he wasn't going to give up. Popo looked at this and shook his head as he said "No maggot your training is done today. For you today was just an introduction. So I can see what level you are at right now. But don't worry"
Popo looked straight into Guy's eyes and said with a creepy smile "The real training begins tomorrow. I hope your ready HahahahHAHAHA"
Popo walked out of the room while laughing leaving a confused yet excited Guy for the real training tomorrow. Shortly after Popo left Guy walked out the chamber too to see Popo making Goku read the book. Goku was comically trying to escape but Mr. Popo kept knocking him down while reading the book for him. Goku tried to jump off Kami's lookout but he got met with a punch to the face from Mr. Popo. But instead of flying off Mr. Popo grabbed Goku by the face and slammed him into the ground where he lays there half-conscious. Popo begins the reading
"Page 1: Never give the enemies a healing item that will put you and your loved ones at risk"
It went on like this for 20 minutes until Goku stopped trying to escape and started reading against his will. After that Popo looked at Guy and said "You already know your training maggot go do whatever you want. But there will be consequences if you don't improve at all next time we fight"
Guy nods as he set his watch back to 100gs feeling the somewhat heavy pressure on him he begins to train on the lookout. Guy floats in the air with some difficulty and begins to meditate. A thick white layer of Ki surrounds him as he takes deep breaths in and out. Popo saw what Guy was doing and nodded at his decision. 'By having Guy mediate under strong gravity it is strengthening his whole body and energy control. So Guy will make big improvements overtime'
Like this, the whole day passes as most of them decided to stay on the lookout for their training. But Guy went back to Capsule Corp for the night and to bring a few things back for everyone. Guy arrives at Capsule Corp late at night then slowly went to bed afterward. Morning came and Guy had a small talk with Bulma about how he will be at the lookout training but he still will visit. After their heartfelt talk, Bulma hugged Guy and said with a sad tone. "Be careful Guy"
Guy patted her back and said with a serious voice. "I will"
After that Guy went to his private lab and went to his gravity chamber and turned it into a capsule. Which he put into his container for capsules. He grabbed a few other minor things and brought a few Senzu beans with him from his stash. When Guy felt like he got everything he left and flew back to the lookout within an hour. After he arrived he saw everyone training hard with Mr. Popo just relaxing. Guy saw everyone working hard so he didn't interrupt them as he brought out the gravity chamber onto the lookout. Guy took out the capsule and threw it a few meters away from him
*POOF*
A gravity chamber appeared which got everyone's attention. Guy looked at everyone and said "This gravity chamber will help with everyone's training" As he taps the gravity chamber with pride.
They all looked among themselves until Popo got up and said "What are you waiting for? Go in the chamber to start your training or do we need a refresher course about the pecking order...?"
Mr. Popo said with a small smile. The rest of the fighters shriveled a little but still went into the gravity chamber. When all of them were inside Guy looked to Popo and asked with a curious look. "What's the pecking order?"
Popo gives a smile and said "You will see... if you don't improve next time we fight"
Guy nods and explains to his friends how to use the gravity chamber. After he told everyone how to work it he went out to see Popo waiting with a neutral face as he says "Are you ready for the real training Guy?"
Guy nods and says with such youthful energy "YES!"
