Dana's POV
We turned around and saw a girl wearing the same hood. She slowly walked towards us with cold eyes. Alex pulled Alice to his back, getting ready to defend.
The girl ignored Alex and ran towards me.
"Princess Dana!!!"
Harper ran towards me
No it's not safe, don't go near me, Harper!

Blood was scattered everywhere. Blood all over me and Harper...
Harper coughed off blood. She was stabbed at the stomach. She's dying.
"I'm sorry, Dana..."
I hugged her.
"Har-Harper, don't die, please don't die! Don't leave me..."
I'm so useless... I wasn't able to help anyone, the people in the ballroom or my only friend, so useless.
Suddenly, the magic circle gave off a faint glow that made me come back to reality.
"The magic circle activated?!" Owen said in disbelief.
Alice turned around and called out to me. I was still dumbfounded, so I didn't do anything. Alex then held her hand.
Magic circle became brighter to the point that it was blinding. I couldn't see anything anymore, before I knew it I was in an unfamiliar hallway.
Alex's POV
The light was gone, I found myself in a forest. Alice is with me, but I couldn't find anybody else.
"Where are we?" Alice questioned.
I answered honestly "I don't know. We should leave the forest first, I don't think it's safe in here.".
A man with long blond hair found us, "What are you two doing here?" He asked angrily.
"Who are you!".
The man became calm and answered "I am Oliver, the head of this place. This place is private property so you are not allowed here.".
"We are lost, tell us where we are." I ordered.
"What a rude man. Anyway, you are at the property of the Cohen household.".
"We are at a forest and I don't see any house here".
"That's because the mansion is in the middle of the forest. You don't seem to be scared after hearing my name.".
I ignored what he said and asked "How do we get back to the kingdom of Verbena?".
The guy was confused and asked "What's Verbena?".
We were also confused, Alice answered "The kingdom of the vampires."
The man laughed at us and said "Kids do you think you're in a fairy tale, we are in Earth right now."
"Earth?"
