Chapter 2: It's Time to...
"Hurry!!", a maid yelled to her fellow maids as they prepare the dress for Zoey to use as she prepared for her ceremony of succession of a hero. The ceremony will be held at the castle 2 weeks from now and Zoey is now preparing for her stay in the Poca Kingdom's Royal Castle.
Meanwhile, Zoey is in her room staring at the mirror in deep thoughts.
"It's been two years since the ball and I never saw that masked man ever since nor heard of him. Even so sometimes I still wonder what his identity is." Zoey's thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knock on her door.
*tok* *tok*
"It's me Jenny!!" Zoey immidiately ran and opened the door soon as she heard her cousin.
"Jenny!! What are you doing here?" Zoey was surprised as to why she is their.
"Oh don't be that surprised cousin. I am here as one of your escort how bout that. Hehe" Jenny smiled as she went inside the room.
"Really?"
"Of course. I figured you will be bored with just your random escort but with me around you can rest assured. Besides I am ranked second in our succession exam so with you as ranked one those foolish enough to attack us will be goners in no time." Jenny explained as she sits on Zoey's bed.
"Thank you so much cousin!!! I owe you this one. Don't worry when I will be queen I will repay you a thousand times." Zoey jumped for joy as she went and spend her time having firls talk with Jenny.
Next morning....
"Travelling to the Royal Capital will only take a week in carriage. I wish to join you gals as well but my brothers insisted even father that I will stay and go there in time for your ceremony." Fiore lamented as she stands outside the Aqua's mansion bidding Zoey farewell.
"Don't worry Fiore. Jenny is with me so you can just rest assured. Hehe." Zoey smiled as she somewhat can imagine her families reaction.
"That's ...what I'm worried about.." Fiore spoke in a weak voice.
" What's that?" Zoey asked as if she heard Fiore spoke.
"Nothing.. Just be careful okay?" Fiore make a faint smile. "You are so sweet Fiore. Thank you for being my friend." Zoey said as the carriage began to move. "See you on the capital!!!!!!" Zoey shouted as she wave goodbye to Fiore.
GARDIA CITY is ome of Poca kingdom Major city ruled by two dukes. Zoey's grandfather and Fiore's grandfather. It was originally seperated but seeing how friendly the two families and Zoey's grandfather excelled in nurturing and administrating lands as Fiore's grandfather excelled in Fighting wars and keeping the security they created a city between their lands and made it one of Poca's Greatest city that can compare to the Royal capital city.
Travelling to the Capital they need to make 3 stop before reaching it. Zoey and Jenny spent their time sight seeing giving the guards sime trouble. Although they are only travelling with ten body guards. These guards were Elites trained by the Roots family. They may not have elements in them they would still have 5 mastered advanced techniques.
People were born with an energy inside them. Some if them can uae this energy to cast magic that depends in their elements affinity.
In Poca kingdom's History when the world was still in oppression of the Chaos beings of the Chaos Kingdom, 5 heroes rise to defeat the so called Chaos overlord while the people of the now called arcana empire was responsible of sealing the land. After the war the 5 heroes created a kingdom called Poca. Four of the heroes have each of their own elements while the fifth one is said to have monstrous strength. However as time passed by the seal of the chaos empire grew weaker and some weaker chaos beings have escaped. In order to prevent these from happening the 5 heroes prepared an inheritance magic that can help the people in the future. The First hero the king made the fire sword that can increase its sharpness and power the hotter it gets. The second hero the Queen made the cup of miracles. It is said that once they drink from it boost their abilities to heal or unlocked healing if the individual doesn't have it.
The third hero ,who became a treasurer that time, made a ring that boost their elements on earth and nature and said to have a magic only the bearer can cast.
The Fourth hero was adventurous and only want to roam freely so after the land was given he made a tower that test the successor and withun ut lies a broom that said to grant the wielder flight and enhanced its wind magic.
However the last hero cannot perform magic so he prayed a lot into the heavens. One day he made an announcement. The Fifth hero will one day be born and blessed by the heavens as the hero dies. The fifth hero will find its way when all the four heroes unite.
Right now the pica kingdom's fifth hero or as the cimmoners called champion is the Commander of the Poca Kingdom's Army. The successor of the hero blade was the King's First son Prince Jack. The successor of the cup of miracles was Zoey and also chosen as the Future Queen. The successor of the ring was already passed on and currently defending the border of the kingdom against the Arcana empire. The successor of the wand however is stil being challenged. Rumor has it that person seems to learn new words after challenging the tower.
"My lady we will have our last stopped in Iima city and hopefuly will reach the capital tommorrow by sunset." the coach reminded Zoey and Jenny inside the carriage as they venture inside the city.
"Hehe.. Cousin Jenny I'm already excited. I hope I will see Prince Jack soon." Zoey smiled at Jenny.
Jenny on the other hand made a smile that if only Fiore was their would expose her sinister smile.
"Oh.. Don't worry I'm also excited."
