Chapter 38: The origin of the Purple Man Interlude

The Angel in charge of reincarnating heroes smiled and relaxed after the soul agreed to be reborn as Vegeta,

"Hopefully my boss won't find out," the Angel chimed as he went on about doing his job.

After a few years passed, and Leon awakened as Vegeta, the Angel was suddenly called upon by his superiors.

Acting as if nothing was wrong, he marched into the headquarters of the River of Souls. Like King Yama King's Underworld, this was where souls went to be judged after death.

If they did good deeds, then they would be rewarded, if they did bad, they would be sent to hell to have their souls cleansed before being reincarnated as the lowest form of being, depending on the quantity and severity of the soul's sin.

Sometimes, in order to promote balance, some would have to reincarnate to other worlds and realities before their time was up. That was this particular Angel's job.

Standing at a large opening, an image appeared over the River, it was a faceless head that glowed with a pure and bright white light, "You have failed to tell us something, Angel."

The Angel's shoulders cringed, "Um, what?"

"Please spare us this routine, we know of the one you sent to the Dragon Ball universe. He was not destined to die or to be reincarnated into another world. You messed up!" The mysterious monotone voice called out.

"I...I'm going to lose my wings aren't I?" The Angel sighed.

"Yes, but that is another matter. You sent a being with great knowledge of that universe and heavily upset the grand scales. Not to mention, because of the world he was sent to, an opposition to his power will have to be born to maintain balance. You must help create and give this opposition the same advantage, give him all known earth knowledge of the Dragon Ball Universe, make the being chaotic in nature, and as the highest tier of Demon King Species."

The Angel pointed his hands up, "Can I keep my job?"

"Go! You insignificant little pigeon!" The voice yelled.

The Angel ran out of the River of Souls, an exhausted sigh came from the faceless image, "Good help his so hard to find these days. I miss unemployment."
