Chapter 7: Sleep
These past few days Lei Hua was relaxed, Mo Gun Tei rarely goes home because he would always stay in the room located beside his office at the company.
Lei Hua took this chance to explore the house where she lives. According to her memory this house is passed down by generations of Mo. The eldest son would then live in this house when he gets married, she look through the room filled with countless photographs of Gun Tei when he was young.
'He really looks like him' she told herself as she traced the outline of his face on the photograph
The pain that she has been trying to hold in suddenly surfaced.
"In the end I still live with this pain" she muttered as tears streamed down her face.
Back then she had her loyal maids to comfort her when she felt like falling apart, but right now she is all alone, in this strange world.
"Wu Lian are you getting the happiness that you are yearning for?" she asked softly as she felt the cold breeze dry her tears.
Her eyes travelled around the room when she saw a picture that doubled the pain that she is feeling.
It was a picture of the young Gun Tei which looks a lot like her eldest son.
Sobs echoed around the room as she clutch her chest in pain.
"What are you doing here?" A cold familiar voice asked which halted all of her emotions
"Mo Gun Tei" She whispered as she hurriedly wipe her tears away.
"This room, you're not allowed in here"
She chose not to reply and used her wheel chair to transport her to her room.
'Sleep Lei Hua, when pain is too much it's not wrong to rest yourself' she remembered her mother in her past life saying
With the memories of her mother's warm voice and the tears that are falling in her eyes began to dry, she fell into a deep slumber.

Unknown to her Mo Gun Tei stood at the front of her door listening to her heart breaking sobs.
Not once did he see her cry so painfully, not even when she was pushed down the stairs.
At first his hatred for her was not really that much, he knows that she is timid and will be a great match for him who doesn't like to speak much. That is why he agreed with Xi Chi Lu in the first place. But when this wife of his tricked him into marrying her after telling him that she has gotten pregnant, all hell broke loose. The anger he had for her doubled when he found out that she had been deceiving him all along and she was not really pregnant.
The plan of his, where he and she would live in peacefully even if he would not be able to feel something for her romantically went down the gutter. Despite her constant mischief he would always give her a benefit of doubt. The final straw was when she took advantage of him when he got drunk, he did not even believe that she was pregnant because his mother would always tell him that Lei Hua was just deceiving him.
Seeing her cry so painfully moved him, but then he remembers the things that she had done to him before she was pushed by her mother the ounce of emotion he felt towards her vanished.
He should distance himself from her, she can destroy him.
