Chapter 2: Let’s Talk
That being the case, let's talk.
It was probably about a month ago.
I, Himuro Kyouji went browsing Ju〇p¹ at the convenience store nearby as usual.
The cold eyes of the Onee-san² by the register pierces me; a regular that comes every Sunday and Monday afternoon for the past couple of years.
Well, I'm not really bothered by it. Rather, it's more important that the serialization of H〇H³ has finally continued so I have no time for that.
Though the suspension of the serialization has been so long that I've forgotten the details.
Eh, erm, somehow it's talking about something complicated right way but, what was it about? I can't remember...
And just like this, despite the long-awaited serialization's continuation, I was unable to follow the story. That's how that time of today went.
Returning home from the convenience store, I open my door and eh. It's a different world that I don't recognize.
"Erm, isn't the transfer the most important part of going to a different world. Why is that part abridged and I'm being transferred so simply"
I made a quip⁴ to no one in particular
Well, though there's no one retorting⁵ me.
But, isn't this too abrupt? I've also read stories about transferring to a different world since they are popular.
The interesting ones are interesting and to be honest, I like it.
Even so, this isー. At the very least, give a little bit of a dramatic development for the transfer.
Like, getting run over by a car or, the cla.s.sroom exploding or, dying from some kind of unforeseen accident.
Eh, come to think of it now, don't most transferring happen when the person dies? Uーn, that seems extremely painful now that I think about it so, it's better for it to be this way.
Well, putting that aside, this seems to be a different world. An unfamiliar gra.s.sland spreads before my eyes and monster-like things can be seen strutting about from afar.
I wonder what is it, the thing that looks like a kiwi from Earth.
Not the fruit, the bird in New Zealand.
Something like that is walking about. Ah, it noticed me. I mean, it's thrusting towards me with great vigour.
"Ooooooooi!!"
That beak feels like it could stab someone. It could, couldn't it!
I don't really want to get done in right after coming to a different world so, I ran away at full speed for the time being.
