Chapter 83: Wedding gift
Josh laughed instantly "Big Bro, It's a prank before the wedding".
Sean joined the fun "It will make your wedding night more meaningfull".
Nick chuckled "It shouldn't be a problem. I need to move out from my place monday before the wedding anyway". His statement shocked everyone. He lifted his eyebrows and nodded, mocking Sean.
"That's right. Uncle mo and his family plus Tara, my bridesmaid, will stay with me there. Uncle Mo family is arriving on monday and Tara will be on wednesday" Alice spoke. Everyone was speechless.
Sean and Josh were not able to tease the couple any more
Mr Feng coughed "How long are you going to have a break ?". Most of the family members grinned as those people knew his intention.
" I still have plenty annual leave left.so, I submitted 4 weeks, it start monday before my wedding. Also, I'll hand them my resignation notice by the end of this week" Nick tought he would start his office preparation after the wedding.
"Have you planned for your honeymoon ?" Mrs Feng followed Mr Feng lead.
"No Mum. We'll just going somewhere close by. We will be very busy after the wedding, so.." before Alice completed hers, Mrs Feng cut "No. Honeymoon is essential. I don't want any of my kids experience wedding without honeymoon like I did".
Every one peeked at Mr Feng who drank his tea to ease his helplessness. Cacha left the living room and back in no time with a big pink envelope in her grip. she gave it to her father.
"Here is for you two. The wedding present from all of us as a family. Open it" Mr Feng handed it to Nick. Nick held the envelope then exchanged glance with Alice. "open it" Mrs Feng tapped Alices' shoulder gently. Alice nodded, then she held Nick arm and shook it lightly to urge him.
Nick took a deep breath before opening the envelope. "Hey, what kind of attitude is in your face, bro ? We won't send you to war zone or somewhere bad" Sean wasn't impressed with Nick.
Nick halted his action and was about to argue with Sean. But, Alice who was too excited, She pouted then shook his arm "Darling, please open it. Quickly".
Nick obeyed her, he pulled out the contain of the envelope. Everyone were peeping on the couple to see their facial expression. It was stack of print out, Alice and Nick checked them one by one and dumpfounded.
They were itenerary and hotels reservation of their honeymoon. It was 14 days trip to Japan. Departure date would be wednesday after the wedding.
Sasha cleared her throat "The flight tickets were from Mum and Dad. It will start from Osaka, kyoto and ended in Tokyo. Your returned flight will be from Tokyo. Your osaka hotel for 3 night is from third Bro and Sister Michele. The one in kyoto is from him, you will stay there for 4 night" Sasha pointed at Sean who saluted the couple with his index and mid finger.
"2 night ryokan hotel in Kawaguchiko is from Me and Hans" Sasha smile proudly.
"why did he join you ? He is not part of us" Josh protested. He was not please.
"I know you didn't like him since he often bullies you. Just be patient, We will be able to bully him back" Lana patted Josh and gave him a wink. Josh grinned slyly and rubbed his chin, he had planned a lot short of trick to evenge Hans.
"Hey, hey cut all the crap. I asked him to join me because it was so costly. I have not enough budget" Sasha blushed. Everyone knew she tried to hide something from them, especially Cacha. Lana had reported to them about what she and Cacha saw during Sean party few weeks ago.
"Of course, we believe you" Nick cooled down the atmosphere but his face expression told otherwise.
"Hotel in Tokyo for four night is from me, Josh and Lana" Cacha, Lana and Josh grinned proudly.
"How about the JR train Pass ? I can't see any" Nick was joking. "Ouch" Nick screamed softly as Alice pinched his thight.
"I'll arrange for it" Fred was sorry that he hadn't contributed.
"Don't please. Let him buy them using his own money. He is getting stingy" Mrs Feng prevented Fred. He just met the whole family today, so she felt it was abit inappropriate to let him spend his fortune.
"Thank you, Mum" Alice hugged Mrs Feng first then Mr Feng"Thank you dad".
"Thank you all" She hugged every one on the living room including Fred.
"You are so great" She was touched by the family warm and kindness.
Nick also imitated Alice, he hugged them one by one to show his gratitude.
He pulled his phone then dialed a number " yes, bro" it was Alan.
"Hey. Thanks Man. Thank you so much your wedding gift. Alice and me are really greatful to you and Michelle"
"No big deal big brother. Just remember to return it double when the time comes" Alan made a fun as well.
"Sure. Just decide the date first"
"Say hello to every one. I have surgery soon. I'll call mum and dad after. Bye".
