Chapter 3: Invading Ogres

Anne was looking deeply into Nora's eyes. They were ocean blue. But her eyes were still filled with tears, even though Anne woke up almost an hour ago. Those were the tears of happiness. She was worried about her childhood friend. But fortunately, Anne woke up. Anne started asking Nora about the situation. Nora told her that her family's territory was invaded by ogres, and a month after that, they tried taking it back. The ogres killed almost every member of the family. Anne's parents were crush to death by the leader of the ogres, and her brother was surrounded and was torn apart. It was the most cruel thing she ever saw in her life. Anne could easily escape, because she secretly started her training as a rogue before the catastrophe. She had an outstanding talent in sneaking out of places. Her parents were strict with her, because they wanted to protect their only daughter. But she wanted to fight, just like his brother did until his death, so she started training herself. After the unfortunate turn of events, Nora took her to one of their allies, the Bronze Church's people in Dustwood, so they could seek shelter. After some time, they planned to retake their territory.
