80% The Ogre

Chapter 7: Slaughter

It's been a full five years since Saikyō had slaughtered the bandits in their camp, the one that was spared spreading the tale of the Ogre far and wide. Even now however, after a full ten years has passed, he never forgot the dying wish of his mother to seek vengeance on the Senju and Uchiha clans for the massacre of her village and his birth father. He already decided long ago however, that he wouldn't fulfill his mother's desire.

Even though he felt respect for the things his mother went through in order to ensure his safety and that he was born, he wouldn't ruin the entire timeline of Naruto just because of someone he didn't truly know. She, in her state of anguish and hatred, had only seen him as a tool to get back at her aggressors -- and no matter how righteous she was in her emotions, he would never allow himself to be used. Only he would decide his path in this new life of his -- for the strong don't disadvantage themselves in pursuit of their goals in the benefit of the weak, especially if they're already dead.

So with this in mind, instead of interfering with the conflict between the Senju and Uchiha clans and Hashirama and Madara in particular, he wandered throughout the Land of Fire and wiped out many bandits, rogues, and the like -- leaving gruesome corpses in his wake and spreading word of the Ogre evermore. Word of him spread quickly to the darker side of humanity in particular, different bandit clans and the like rallying together for a better chance of surviving against the Ogre. Those alliances still were no match for the Ogre however, their destroyed camps left with marred corpses and scattered blood -- their efforts in vain. Bandits weren't the only thing that he killed however, many small clans that mistakenly offended him having been completely wiped out across the Land of Fire. News of this reached the ears of many of the larger clans, including the Senju and the Uchiha, and both had openly expressed their desire to have him on their side in the battlefield.

By this time the conflict between the two warring clans were at an all-time high. The last two remaining head clansmen of the Uchiha Clan, Madara and Izuna Uchiha, led them into the various battles whilst Hashirama and Tobirama Senju led the Senju clan. It was unclear who would eventually win the conflict as of right now however, as they were both at a clear stalemate with each other. The two deciding factors of the outcome of the war, Hashirama and Madara, were the cause. Madara could never defeat Hashirama in battle, and Hashirama could never allow himself to kill someone who he believed was still, deep inside of him, his best friend that he skipped stones and sparred against Saikyō with all those years ago.

In a clear grass field surrounded by a forest, a lone figure could be seen in a lotus position in the middle of the night, the moonlight covering the surrounding area. Saikyō had caught wind of the rising conflict between the Senju and Uchiha clans not too long ago. It seemed that in a particular battle, both heads of the clans had died -- leaving their eldest sons to take reign. Saikyō presumed that after that, Hashirama must have asked again and again for peace between the two clans and talked of the dream that they had shared, akin to the events of the Anime. It wouldn't be too much longer until Izuna's death and Madara's gaining of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. He knew that it would take a few more years, however, for what he truly wanted to finally come to fruition.

Saikyō suddenly opened his crimson eyes and slowly stood to his full height. He was now a total of six feet, his figure towering over many full grown men. He wore a sleeveless black shirt and baggy black pants along with open black footwear with rubber soles that were similar to the ones martial artists wore in his previous life.

Suddenly and without warning, multiple figures flashed forward from the surrounding forest and surrounded Saikyō, their weapons drawn with clear killing intent directed at him. He smirked as the numbers continued to grow, many of them still hidden from the shadows of the trees as he detected the enemies spanning over a mile into the nearby forest. A lone figure stepped forward and spoke up with a loud and domineering voice.

"Your life ends here, Ogre! The many bandit clans of the Land of Fire deemed you a threat too big to simply let alone, so here we all are, banded together just to kill you! Take pleasure in that fact when we send you to the afterlife!!" The bandit smirked in contempt as his killing intent radiated off of his figure.

Saikyō simply lifted his arm casually and pointed his finger straight at the one who had spoken.

"You.. will be the first to die."

The bandit scowled and yelled with anger and a mix of fear as well.

"KILL HIM!!"

The surrounding army of bandits and rogues swarmed towards Saikyō. As they sent their battle cries and inched closer and closer to his figure, he bounded off of the ground and straight over the rushing bandits, towards the particular one who he had gave a death sentence. Within arms reach of him in a single leap, he grabbed his neck using his legs while still in mid-air and used his current momentum along with his brute strength to drag him and flip him over onto the ground in one fluid motion, grabbing his face with an outstretched arm as he struggled on the floor in fear and panic. With a forceful clench of his fingers, he broke his skull along with his jaw, a loud crack sounding as blood died the surrounding grass a deep red.

Saikyō didn't falter and twisted into the air with insane speed, breaking the neck of the nearest bandit that rushed him with a side kick and sending the corpse flying. Bodies flew all over the place as he continued his onslaught, more and more corpses piled the area and more and more bandits rushing in from within the forest. By the time they had realized victory was unattainable for them and decided to flee, it was too late.

A half an hour had passed. Bodies were strewn everywhere and the stench of death permeated the area, the once luscious green grass now stained with blood and covered with various body parts. A lone figure could be seen standing in the middle of the death surrounding him with a grin on his face.

Saikyō was covered in blood, his black garments stained from the slaughter of his enemies. He lifted his head up at the sky and straight at the moon, the light shining over his grinning face.

"Not too much longer.."
