Chapter 9: Unlocking the Manual!
After he finished his hard-earned meal, he destroyed the campfire as to not create a forest fire. After putting out the fire, Aloph looked over at the pile of spears he was carrying around and the rabbit fur next to it. "I should really create a rucksack". Aloph said to himself as he got up from his sitting position and walked over to the rabbit fur. He kneeled down beside it before closing his eyes to try and remember how to make a rucksack. After a few minutes, he remembered it and proceeded to create a rucksack within five minutes. After creating the rucksack he was greeted with a system notification.
[Ding! You have crafted [Rudimentary Rucksack]! 2.5 Exp earned!
The decrease in Exp given was mildly concerning, but that was overshadowed by the fact that he now had 102 Exp! That was more than he needed to purchase the [Body Strengthing Technique]!
He immediately opened the store with an exciting voice! "Open, Store!" In front of him appeared a rectangular box filled with many items. After opening the store he yelled out the name of the technique. "[Body Strengthing Technique]!" The store changed to the technique and once again showed its description. Under the note of the technique was the purchase button. He instantly clicked it upon locating it and was greeted with a searing pain in his head! As the pain was so great, he was forced to his knee with his hands grabbing tightly onto his head. Countless information about the technique flooded into his mind.
Thankfully, this process ended after five minutes, but even then. Aloph's body was drenched in sweat. His dirt ridden clothes now darkened by the amount of sweat released beneath. Aloph paid no heed to this as he got up to his feet and called for his information from the system. His body was full of newfound power.

There were levels to the techniques and he was instantly at the max? He wasn't upset, just confused, so he just resorted to just asking the system. "Hey, system. What gives? Why did I start out instantly at max level for the technique?"
[Ding! Any technique bought within the store that does not specify the need to train will instantly be, max level. Also, the technique, [Breathing is the Key to Getting Stronger] was gifted by the system, thus it was MAX Lv.]
Now that he was paying attention to it, he already gained 0.5 Exp from the technique! Half a day had already passed? Either I lost track of time or there are higher powers at work. Well, whatever! Time to test out this technique!
Aloph walked over to a tree and got into a position that was given to him when he bought it. The position made him look like a snake readying to pounce on its prey.
Suddenly, he threw out a punch towards the tree! As his punch moved towards the tree, it created a burst of wind that moved out in all directions. His fist hit the tree and easily snapped it in half, it was one of the larger ones!
Just as he was about to gloat, the tree that he had punched fell right towards him and before he even had a chance to move, it was already on top of him! With his face now planted in the dirt and his body held down by a tree, his chance to gloat was gone forever. Clearly, the gods weren't happy with his newfound strength!
He pushed the tree off of his back with some difficulty before stretching his limbs and walking further into the forest. He wanted to forget that this incident ever happened! If someone were to look at his face, they'd see it was red!
