Chapter 22: ENGAGED
At night...........
Koutaro got ready first. He was wearing a black suit with crimson red shirt matching her dress. He was looking so handsome that girls will fall for him in first sight. He was sitting at the couch waiting for nana . After a short while nana came from her room wearing that dress.
As she walked towards koutaro his eyes widened. How beautiful can she be? That dress was hugging her white pale body. She was looking some princess from fairytale.
"it..it doesn't look good ?" she asked looking down at herself "no , I'm just wondering how beautiful you look maybe we just not go I don't want anybody staring at you" he wispred in her ear. It made her heart racing .
They left the mansion and in 40 minutes arrived at the hotel . There was red carpet at the entrance. As the couple was walking every one was staring at them. But most surprising thing was that Ushiwaka koutaro was with a girl. In past he always came alone .
As they entered the ballroom fushijima hajime greeted them. "hello CEO Ushiwaka I'm glad that you're here and I see you brought a beautiful company here" he said and looked at nana "Happy birthday president Fushijima and please meet my fiance Takanashi nana" he introduced them "It's nice to meet you Mr Fushijima and happy birthday" she said with a gentle smile "it's nice to meet you too Miss takanashi" he said .
They greeted other businessmen nana was getting tired because of it but she didn't let it show on her face. "I'm going to the restroom I'll be back soon" she said "okay" he said . She didn't wore these kind of dresses much. She adjusted her dress and went out of the restroom. "I didn't expect you to be here" a familiar voice said when she turn around she saw yumma was standing there. Yumma's mother was sister of fushijima hajime so he was also attending this party. "What are you doing here?" she asked "I'm here for my uncle's birthday you know Fushijima hajime" he said crossed his arms "Ohh well I should be going now" she didn't wanted to talk to him much so she turned around to leave. She was about to leave when yumma grabbed her arm. "where are you going? I was talking to you " he said "let go of me , I don't want to talk to you " she said and frowned her brows "nana why are you going away from me didn't you said you'll always be there no matter what ? you don't love me anymore?" he asked her "It was all in the past and you are the one who wad with another women and I was the only one who loved you never did " she said in a low voice "look now i have someone who really loves me and I love him too he is far much better then you so let go of me " she said and struggled to be free from his grasp.
"What are you doing with my finance?" a cold voice came from behind "huh what finance? you're aren't even engaged to her" yumma said koutaro become more grim he was burning with rage. "yumma let go of me whether we are engaged or not it doesn't matter we are going to get married in the future" she said "I won't let go of you" he said and tighten his grip on her wrist. Nana frowned in pain. Ushiwaka saw it and he was getting more angry he walked towards yumma broke free his grip on Nana's wrist and stood between them. He saw brusies on get wrist he was seriously going to punch yumma on his guts but he calmed himself "well I was saving it for another occasion but if guys like you keep coming I think I should just do it now" koutaro said and took Nana to the ballroom. yumma followed them.
"May I have your attention please I have an announcement to make" koutaro said everyone was looking at them. "Nana I wanted to do it on another occasion but I don't want anyone else to look at you" he wisperd in her ear. He took out a white box opened it and kneeled on one knee there were two matching rings for couple "Nana will you marry me ?" he asked . Nana was speechless she was so surprised tear started steaming down her cheeks and she nodded. Koutaro slipped the ring on her left hand ring finger and got up Nana was still crying but she took the other ring and sipped into his left hand ring finger. Koutaro kissed her everyone was clapping at the moment.
Yumma was standing there gritting his teeth. He saw everything that happened. Nana was so happy . Koutaro and nana then danced "are you happy ?" he asked "I'm so happy " she said with a smile . Koutaro placed a kiss on her lips again. She buried her face on his strong chest in embarrassment when she saw that everyone was looking at them .
