Chapter 04 - We are in a Relationship?
Kou's Point of View
I arrived at school and head straight to the lockers
I'm getting my books from the locker and from that place I saw Shinjiro.
"Hey" I said and I stare to Shinjiro while he is getting his books from his locker
We used to bump most of the in this place. I guess our schedule are in a match
"Good morning Asahina-kun" Shinjiro said
He sighed at the sight of garbage on his shoe locker.
The bullying is still not over?
He removed the garbage and threw it in the trash can.
He left his bag to me to prevent it from having dirt.
The bags in this school is all identical according to the rules but there is something strange in his bag. I noticed a weird key chain.
Is this a cat?
Shinjiro came back
"What is this?" I ask showing his own key chain.
"Nothing!" He said and hide it
He is having a slight blush in his face.
"Um that's cute..." I whispered
Does it really came from my mouth?
"You think so?" Shinjiro asked, he looked at me like he found a similar guy with the same taste.
"Yeah, maybe" I said holding my head
So he is into cute stuffs? Cats?
For a guy it is a weird taste but I every people has the right to like what they want to like as long it isn't immoral or illegal.
But to think that this guy likes cute stuffs I don't know if it suit him or not.
"You are still getting bullied?" I asked while he is fixing his shoes
"Yes, but I guess it is just persistence girls. The number decreased over the time" Shinjiro said
"I'm sorry that it is because of me" I apologized and all of a sudden his face is in front of me.
"You finally said it" Shinjiro said softly
"You're waiting for me to say it?"
I admit that weeks ago I won't apologize or say sorry to him.
I feel some guilt but my pride won't allow it.
"Yes, I know you're going to say it, because you're a nice person Asahina-kun" Shinjiro said and smile.
Somethings odd
He sounded really nice
What's with him?
"Are you playing at me?" I asked
"Yeah, you're really nice Asahina-kun"Shinjiro said again
"Stop it!" I said trying to cover my ears.
Really it's scary
He is playing on me!
He knows how to tease me...
"Asahina-Kun!" Shinjiro said now with a smirk
"Stop it Shin-ji-ro" I said annoyed
He laugh
He is making fun of me.
*Sigh
Then I heard a voice
"Look at this cute couple!" Okazaki said with a big smile.
"Stop teasing them" Hanazawa said after she smacked Okazaki's head
"That looks like it hurts" I said grinning while looking at Okazaki
"Thanks Hana" Shinjiro said with a smile
"You're really cute!" Hanazawa said hugging him
Even though Shinjiro is guy I think Hanazawa is treating him as his little sister? She is actually a doting sister if a go back from the start.
"It's impossible, Asahina and Shinjiro is impossible" Arai said
That's right.
There is no way it will happen
We are both guys and this guy is someone I can't comprehend most of the time.
"It is not impossible, two guys can get together nowadays and it is not like we discrimanate right?" Okazaki said
"It is not that they are both buys" Arai muttered
"Huh?" Okazaki seems to not heard but I guess something is bothering Arai.
"Shinjiro do they stop bullying you?" Arai asked and we go to another subject
"Yes it is don't worry " Shinjiro said staring at me.
"We need to do something Shinjiro, those girl are really annoying you know" Hanazawa said while he is smiling. She is smiling but she looks like she is ready to beat someone.
"Don't worry about me" Shinjiro persuading Hanazawa to calm down.
It's a fake smile.
"He said it is fine already and I think he really can handle it. Lets all just go and start classes" I explained to them but I guess Hanazawa is not on a good mood today.
"Hey Asahina-kun this half your fault. Why are you saying that like it is not your problem at all" Hanazawa speaks in my ear
Scary.
"Shinjiro lets head to the classroom" Arai said as he walk with Shinjiro.
"Asahina-kun come with me for a second" Hanazawa said
I'm going to be beaten.

At The Classroom
My body is aching.
Hanazawa punched me in stomach.
I looked at Hanazawa while thinking how this girl can had that much power.
"Hana is good at martial arts Asahina so better not try to piss her. Don't try to tease Shinjiro" Okazawa said smiling.
Me teasing him? It's the other way around most of the time can't you see?
"Sorry Asahina I can't help it when someone is hurting my precious Shinjiro" Hanazawa said smiling
God she's so beautiful yet dangerous.

"Asahina you're pretty popular aren't you?" Hanazawa said looking to a group of girls who are giggling while looking at me.
"How many ex-girlfriend do you already have?" Arai asked, what with his question?
Girlfriends?
"Um... as far as I remember it's six" I said and in my surprise Okazaki punched me
"That hurts! I'm still not recovered from Hanazawa!"
Why did he punch me?
"Six huh?" Okazaki said with a mad tune.
"You playboy!" Arai said and smack my head.
"What's wrong with that?" I asked staring at both of them.
Okazaki punched me again, It hurts he's getting used to it!
"Okazaki don't have any experience with girls. In short no girlfriend since birth" Hanazawa said with a teasing smile.
So that's why?
He's envious of me?
*sigh
"You don't understand, I'm just using them actually. I'm using them to ditch someone" I explained
Yes I'm just using them
I don't know how to love others.
[except my family; excluding my elder brother]
"Hey Shinjiro don't try to be in a relationship with Asahina remember that " Okazaki said while making a warning pose.
"Like I wanted to!" I said and I notice something
He didn't respond. He didn't even move an inch to his seat.
"He is not listening at all" Okazaki said pointing to his ears.
He is wearing earphones.
I come towards him. I'm curious on what he's doing.
"Hey what are you doing?" I ask and I notice he is playing a game.
He plays RPG Games?
"Don't disturb me, get lost" Shinjiro glared at me for a second and he resume again on his game.
I know that game.
"Isn't that Empire Horizon?" I said pointing to it
"You know this game?" Shinjiro asked like his eyes are really interested in what I'm going to say.
"I already finish that game" I said and suddenly, he go near me.
"I'm stuck in this stage and I don't know what to do, tell me please!" Shinjiro said with a pleading eyes.
Cute pleading eyes to be exact
I used to play games a lot before to relief boredom and one of those games is the game he is playing.
"I don't want, what good can it do for me?" I said and smile
"Die" He whispered
Time for my payback from earlier...
My body still hurts
"Good Morning Class" Kaguya-sensei said entering with a smile in his face.
"Good Morning" The whole class greeted.
I remembered what happen in the sports festival.
Shinjiro said he is unpredictable.
"Shinjiro you said Kaguya-sensei is unpredictable . Are you scared of him?" I asked
"Yeah..." He answered
Maybe he's really scary to make Shinjiro scared of him.
Shinjiro is scary for me and he is enough.
The class ended and we are walking at the corridor.
Shinjiro is still playing the game even though we are walking.
"You can't finish that" I said teasing him
"Get lost" Shinjiro said annoyed.
I find it really fun teasing him.
"You look like a couple" Okazaki said
He really won't stop that huh?
...
Then I notice someone I used to know
"Kou!" A girl with pig tails came running towards me.
"Who is she?" Hanazawa asked looking confused
The school is not prohibiting to outsider but entering a high school is a matter of confidence.
"She's pretty cute" Okazaki said
No she's not..
"I missed you!" Miyano run to me and hugged me
"Get away from me!" I shouted as I get rid of her.
Yuasa Miyano, she's a neighbor of mine back then
She's my stalker!
"No way after I come all the way from London?" Miyano said and push Shinjiro to get close to me because he is on my side.
The push is stronger than I thought.
Shinjiro fell on the floor along with his phone.
It's broken...
"Shinjiro!" Hanazawa said worried
Hanazawa rushed to Shinjiro looking for damages.
"Don't come near my Kou!" Miyano said holding hugging my arms.
Hanazawa has this look at her face like 'what?'
"Shinjiro you have a wound!" Arai said checking Shinjiro's body
"Let's bring him to the clinic" Okazaki said trying to help Shinjiro stand up.
This is frustrating.
"People who will hurt someone and others for their own sake, that kind of people disgust me the most" Shinjiro said and he grab his phone.
He is mad.
This is the first time I saw him like this.
I got chills in my spine.
I notice Miyano looks scared.
I removed her hand on me.
"Let's go to the clinic Shinjiro!" Hanazawa said and she grab Shinjiro's hand
"Shinjiro" I muttered his name but Shinjiro didn't look back.
He is really mad...

I followed them in the clinic regardless of Shinjiro ignoring me.
"Your friend is fine don't worry" The Nurse said while she is cleaning Shinjiro's wounds
I'm staring at Shinjiro.
"I'm glad" Okazaki said and let out a sigh
Then Hanazawa grabbed the collar of my uniform.
"What kind of girl is that? She purposely hurt Shinjiro!" Hanazawa said madly too.
"She's the one I always ditch?" I answered
They became quite calm after that answer.
"The reason why you are using girls?" Arai asked
"Yeah, she won't leave me alone unless I had a girlfriend" I said and stare at them. I feel apologetic really.
Miyano is my stalker.
"But you know I never see Shinjiro like that before, he is being bullied but he never act like that. That's why I'm so worried" Hanazawa said with a sad face.
Shinjiro is still not speaking...
What is he thinking?

We are all walking Shinjiro since he is hurt. He has a wound in the knee and elbow.
"You fine?" I asked
Shinjiro didn't respond.
"Sorry" I said and Shinjiro stare at me.
"I'm sorry too" Shinjiro said
"I also need to apologize to the girl. That must have been scary" Shinjiro added.
He is worried fro Miyano even though he is more hurt.
"You just say what you think, that's not wrong?" It is true that Miyano is scared that time but I don't think it he did something wrong.
"You need to scold at me, I know its wrong... I scared her. That is the problem." Shinjiro said with a smirk
Here he go again.
We reached the school gate and we Miyano, is she waiting for me all this time?
"Kou!---" Miyano said happily
She looks angry afterward.
"Why you're with that girl again?" Miyano asked pointing to Hanazawa.
"Get off your hand on me!" Hanazawa said while she is holding Miyano's hand
"You need to get away from Kou!!" Miyano said
"Listen here you brat, I'm friends with Asahina and you don't get to say what I should do. I don't care if you are his stalker or whatever but if you do again what you did to Shinjiro I will smash your pretty face until it is not for people to see at all" Hanazawa's words are full of threat
Miyano can't say anything.
"Hana, don't scare her" Shinjiro said and Hana smiled back at him
Shinjiro looked at Miyano
"I'm sorry for scaring you earlier." Shinjiro said
"Is that so?" Miyano said and grab my hand
She is still terrified of Hanazawa.
Her hand is shaking but I get it back hand again.
If this continue my life will be worse than it is.
I need to think of something.
"Miyano, I will going to confess something to you. I know this is hard to accept but I'm going out with this guy here for quite sometime already"

I know that sounds crazy.
"Huh?" Shinjiro said with a confused face more or less
After that I ran with Shinjiro
I left Miyano alone with the rest of my friends.

I'm walking fast...
So fast...
I think I just did something so crazy...
"Hey Asahina-kun, what's wea re in a relationship crap?" Shinjiro asked
Damn it what now, I think I just started something that I can't finish
