Chapter 69: Demostration Of Power
"What a strong man!" The Z pirate leader exclaimed as he clicked his tongue, he starred towards the roof which was slashed open and the gambling den which was utterly destroyed.
He was actually happy inwardly that the old man was about to leave with Mark. That man obviously had the power to kill all the Z pirates in the gambling den and if it wasn't for his captain showing up he may have died today, he thought silently.
"Fix this place," Mark said as walked out the exit slowly with Issho following behind him.
Back at the castle.
The dining hall was filled with Z pirates as they kept going back an forth inside the castle while redecorating the place.
Satyr jr and company could be seen sitting around the huge dining table.
Mark could be seen walking in with firm steps as an old blind man was walking behind him.
Mark walked up to the main seat of the dining hall as he sat down and scanned the place. Issho grabbed a chair and sat down too.
"Who is this man?" Satyr jr asked curiously while looking at Isso's blind face.
"Our newest member, Issho," Mark answered for Issho as he took a glass on the table and began to drink from it.
"Oh, nice to meet you." Satyr jr said with a friendly smile towards Issho.
"The pleasure Is all mine." Issho returned a friendly smile of his own.
Capone Bege looked at Issho for a second before turning towards Mark.
"Why did you recruit a blind old man?" Capone said with disdain on his face when he looked at Issho, were they going to babysit some old man now? What was the captain thinking? Capone Bege thought.
"Everyone's entitled to act stupid once in a while, but you really abuse the privilege." Satyr jr said while looking at Capone Bege as if he was a moron.
Mark had recruited the old man to the crew, of course, he would be powerful or at least have the power to defend himself even though he was blind, Satyr Jr had blind faith in Mark and he wouldn't question his decision.
Capone Bege was immediately incensed as he stood up from his chair and pointed at Satyr jr.
"You..." Capone Bege didn't know how to respond to Satyr jr as he found himself completely speechless. What a nasty thing to say! Capone Bege felt humiliated.
"No need to argue, I will show him why I was recruited." Issho calmly said as he sheathed his swords towards Capone Bege at a fast speed.
"Gravito!" A heavy voice vibrated throughout the castle.
Capone Bege didn't react in time as he was forced down to the floor heavily.
"Father!" Some of the Z pirates standing around the table immediately pulled out their swords as if they were ready to risk their lives.
Mark waved his hands towards the Z pirates as they backed down immediately.
"Oh." Satyr jr's face changed as he saw Issho's actions. But he didn't interrupt.
Flint was extremely shocked as he tried to keep himself calm, he didn't say anything either but only nodded towards Issho in acceptance.
Yuri took a glass on the table and raised it towards Issho."It's my pleasure to extend a cheerful welcome to you, Issho! Your presence makes us very happy." She said with a beautiful smile.
"Haha! Thank you, little girl!" Issho began to laugh when he heard Yuri's friendly and sweet voice, he immediately took a liking to this sweet little girl.
"We're delighted to offer the most hospitable welcome we can," Fabien added in a happy tone, he already felt like a part of the crew, he had interacted with everyone in the crew and they didn't seem to hate or feel any unpleasant feelings towards him which made him very happy, and seeing Capone Bege being taught a lesson made him pleased.
Capone Bege couldn't get up from the floor as he was being pressed down heavily by gravitational force.
"Haha, I think that's enough Issho," Mark said while half laughing.
Issho sheathed his sword as the gravity powers complete disappeared, he sat down on his chair again and drank some of the wine on the table. He already knew someone would question his abilities as he obviously looked like an old fragile man.
Capone Bege was furious when he saw Issho act like he didn't do anything wrong, but learning of Issho's powers made him frightened, he could kill him in an instant if he wished and this scared him tremendously. I need to become stronger! Capone Bege thought angrily while clenching his hands.
"Where is Alice?" Mark suddenly asked when he saw that they were missing a person.
"She is taking a stroll around the island" Yuri reported awkwardly when she heard Mark's question, the fact that Alice didn't show up when Mark specifically asked for everyone, was very rude.
"Bang!"
"She is isn't following orders!" Capone Bege said angrily while smashing his hand on the table. First Issho attacked him and now knowing that Alice didn't take the crew seriously made him extremely angry.
Mark didn't say anything when he heard Capone Bege's outburst. He obviously wouldn't get mad at Alice for just not showing up, they did grow up together after all.
The door of the dining hall suddenly opened as a slim and beautiful figure could be seen walking in slowly with graceful steps. She looked absolutely stunning as she was dressed in all white clothes which gave her a clean and pure appearance.
"I'm sorry for being late, captain." Alice slowly said with a sweet smile while looking at Mark with an alluring gaze and then she squinted her eyes at Capone Bege for a second before walking up to Mark's side and sat down dignified.
Yuri pouted while looking at her actions.
Capone Bege kept quite when he saw her actions, but he still scornfully huffed while puffing out his chest in annoyance.
"Now that everyone is here, let's begin the meeting," Mark said calmly while he scanned everyone at the table.
"I suggest we expand our crew into divisions as the Whitebeard pirates have." Satyr jr said with a smile on his while trying to disrupt the tense atmosphere.
"I agree!" Flint immediately agreed when he heard Satyr jr. Yuri and Alice also shared their agreement while Fabien tried to stay as low profile as possible.
Issho kept quiet as he listened in on the discussion.
Capone Bege didn't participate as he took out a cigar and began to smoke.
"If we want to take on the four emperors, we would need a bigger army." Satyr jr quickly added when he noticed Mark's pondering face.
"Let's wait with these matters as I want you guys to do something more important right now." Mark finally said as he saw Satyr jr's serious face.
This attracted the attention of everyone.
