Chapter 73: Fabien vs Kizaru
Mark looked towards the marine ships as he spotted the two admirals standing tall on the decks, three vice admirals could also be seen standing behind them.
Admiral Aokiji!
Admiral Kizaru!
"Oh, looks like he has gathered himself an entire army," Kizaru said calmly while staring at the grand fleet. The fact that Mark showed signs of being an emperor made him uneasy, they finally got rid of Whitebeard and now there were these two pirates fighting for this vacated position.
"Arara, this is going to be a difficult fight," Aokiji added as his lazy face turned serious. He also hated the fact that Mark was so close to becoming an emperor.
The pirates on the ships behind the Z pirates grand fleet were all dumbstruck. Why were the admirals here? Were they waiting for Z pirates?
"Why is the marine blocking my path?" Mark said calmly as his voice rang out through the open sky towards the marine ships as the clouds above the sky began to turn pitch black, the sky became gloomy as if it wanted to cry.
The marines all had a tense and serious look on their faces as they starred at the Z pirates grand fleet and their captain Mark Z. Matheus.
"Arara, you obviously know why we are here. Your battle with Blackbeard can't take place at the old Marineford!" Aokiji said calmly as he waited for Mark to respond.
"When was it the marines turn to get involved in my matters!" Mark said with an emotionless expression on his face.
Rain began to pour down from the sky as if the heavens were furious.
"Arara, do you really think your an emperor?" Aokiji continued as he looked towards the sky for a second. Why is the sky suddenly turning black?
Mark raised both his hands into the sky as lightning began to rush towards the sky while the clouds changed from their shiny white appearance to a darker version and the lightning that rushed towards the sky kept howling madly as it poured into the clouds.
"Haha, you better be ready to give up your lives, if you want to stop my advance!" Mark laughed as he placed his hands behind his back again while looking as if he didn't want to take actions himself.
"Swoosh!"
A lightning bolt came rushing down from the sky as it went towards the marines.
"What!!?" The marines were shocked!
Aokiji and Kizaru flashed from their position as they appeared in the sky and immediately stretched their hands out as they blocked the incoming lightning bolt.
"Bang!"
The two admirals defended the lightning as they both were forced to take two steps backward.
"Arara! Are you kidding me?" Aokiji was shocked! This was only a normal attack from Mark and both the marine admirals were forced to take action and they were even at a disadvantage as they were pushed back a couple of steps! No, this can't continue like this!
Aokiji jumped down to the sea and placed one hand on the sea as he calmly said.
"Ice Age!" The sea began to freeze rapidly as the entire ten thousand areas complete froze and made a solid battlefield out of ice.
"This move again," Mark calmly said as he scanned the marines forces.
"Alliance members attack!" The alliance members standing behind the Z pirates ships immediately jumped down from their ships as the rushed towards the marines.
Capone Bege had promised the alliance members some advantages if they assisted Mark in taking down his foes, and the marines could also be considered a foe in this situation.
Their alliance were only based on benefits, they were not really a part of the grand fleet as they only wanted to assist Mark in this upcoming war for supremacy.
"Attack!" Aokiji screamed as the marines jumped down from their ships and ran towards the pirates.
"Shriing!"
"Shriing!"
Blades and swords were clashing while some gunshots were fired too. The battlefield looked completely chaotic, as marines and pirates were clashing back and forth. This was obviously an all-out battle.
Kizaru didn't stand still either as he flashed before Mark and appeared in the sky above him.
"Yasakani no Magatama!" Kizaru used his signature move as light rushed towards Mark in an exaggerated manner.
"I've seen this scene, somewhere before." Mark thought silently as he felt a hence of deja vu as he was looking at the light that came rushing towards him.
"Swish!"
A flying horse could be seen galloping through the air as it intercepted the light attack head-on with its horn.
The horn on the horse lit up as it made a huge defensive sphere around itself and the Z pirates behind it, the defensive sphere fended off the attack.
"Mythical creature, Zoan type?" Kizaru was surprised as he looked at the unicorn in front of his eyes. Since when was mythical creature devil fruits so easily obtainable? This was the third mythical creature Kizaru had seen with his own eyes.
Fabien's figure increased in size as it kept getting bigger and bigger, the huge figure of the unicorn was incredibly beautiful with its white appearance! A tail filled with different colors for could be seen flapping arrogantly in the air and long glowing horn could be seen on its forehead. The unicorn looked mighty and graceful.
"Ohh, seems like you're different from the first commander of the Whitebeard pirates Marco the Phoenix as you have a physical body and not an intangible one." Kizaru slowly analyzed as he kept staring at the unicorn in front him through his yellow sunglasses with his hands back into his pockets.
"I'm fabulous Fabien, the most beautiful creature in the world!" Fabien slowly introduced himself as he looked towards Kizaru and waited for him to concur.
"Oh is that so, " Kizaru didn't care about Fabien's introduction as he titled his head to the side and responded lazily.
Fabien face immediately changed when he heard Kizarus respond.
"You don't agree, you actually don't agree!?" Fabien was dumbstruck as he immediately found himself in a complete mental breakdown, he turned his head towards the Z pirates from the sixth ship as if he wanted them to agree with him.
"Pirates always seem to be too careless." Kizaru calmly said while appearing at Fabien's left side as he gave him a lightfast kick to the side of his body.
"Arrgh!" Fabien screamed exaggerated as he was kicked, but the weird part was that his body didn't move a single step as he was standing at the exact same spot.
"Oh, weird." Kizaru was surprised when he saw his attack didn't do anything to Fabien's body.
Fabien finally dropped his act as he pointed his horn towards Kizaru while grinning.
"Take a hike," Fabien calmly said as the horn on his forehead glowed with an incredibly blinding white light.
"Swoosh!"
Kizaru was sent tumbling back as a white liquid substance could be seen on Kizaru's right arm.
"Ohh, what is this?" Kizaru looked confusedly at the white substance on his right arm which was slowly melting into his bones. Kizaru didn't hesitate as he cut off his arm in a single slash, and his right arm slowly fell to the ice ground.
A second later, Kizaru formed a new right arm from his light element as he gave Fabien a confused and skeptical look.
