Chapter 3: Arc 1 ENTER Blackwater Pirates part 3
Jaina sneaks out of the storage before soldiers came in.
Jaina sighs "that was close I hope you know what you're doing Daiman...."
Jaina notices one ship in docks preparing to leave on the patrol
Jaina "patrol at a time like this"Jaina looks surprised "this could be a trap" Jaina sighs "its better if I go and check it out Jaina heads back in"
Jaina gets into port hides behind boxes, she sees 4 people holding guns and have sheathed cutlasses or daggers, they have blue coats and wore plain blue tricornes too.
Jaina looks at boxes and notices fire bomb earth bomb written on boxes "this ship looks too small for any large scale mission Jaina looks at boxes and seems confused "why would the need fire and earth bombs"
Jaina walks around tiring to get closer and tries her best to be careful not to be seen by the soldiers.
Jaina gets closer behind a stack of boxes and looks at soldiers
Jaina "they are going in armed to the teeth maybe he planed for this "
Soldier "you there why are you sneaking around the ship then aims his rifle at her "
Jaina sighs then turn and look at soldier bit frustrated "I'm just checking if any of the boxes these boxes have bananas in them"
The soldier looks very confused"um why would there be bananas here
Jaina raises her eyebrow" because the person putting them in was rushing though the box and accidentally put one, in now I have to go through the ship and check if the problem was solved, could you please take me in so that I can check"
Soldier "uh sure follow me"
Jaina for sec seems relieved, then thinks to herself "good another naive fool otherwise id be busted by now"
While Jaina and soldier were passing near 2 soldiers on the bridge Jaina heard their discussion
Soldier on the left "ugh I was supposed to home today "
Soldier on the right looks frustrated "I know but then again captain said were gonna additional payment for this, apparently were supposed to kill someone because admiral has a grudge"
Soldier on the left sigh then rolls his eyes" ah well whatever I am just gonna have to think of something, so that my wife isn't pissed off at me again"
The upper deck of the didn't have cannons on it, but Jaina could clearly see 2 holes on the left side for them the ship seemed to be able to carry around 25 soldiers on it, including cannons and supplies and other necessary equipment.
Jaina thinks to herself "hmm they seem to be mostly trained to use guns, except few maybe I could take advantage of all this ammo being here."
Jaina thinks to herself "it is just like Thomas said admiral is going after our whole family..."
after going down the ship had 3 rooms 2 for crew 1 for the captain, there's 1 mid-sized space for storage on the ships back and there was kitchen.
the kitchen had some fire crystal to help cooking machines to function.
Soldier with frustration slams the knife on the table "I'm taking a break"
after getting closer to the knife and kitchen entrance thanks to the soldier leaving seemingly very frustrated, she managed to grab a knife while the soldier who put it there wasn't looking, and put it in trousers but cover it with a shirt.
Jaina seems relieved thinking to herself "jeez I'm lucky that no one saw me do that, alright nows the time to plan things out"
Jaina and soldier walked to storage Jaina saw where cannons were, and Jaina noticed atm they are completely unguarded but there are 3 soldiers who seem to patrol there, but like everyone else isn't happy about being pulled out of nowhere to this job with money being the only motivation
The soldier leads her to the storage part of the ship "here you go, miss, I will wait outside" he locks the door
there was no other exit, it was 1 way in one way out Jaina quickly then begun check crates
Jaina smirks after looking at crates with bombs "hm I have an idea though it wouldn't hurt to some bombs either"
Jaina "I could cause chaos by changing names on the chests, but that would take too long...But then again I would have to get rid of this guy"
Jaina heads way back in the storage and pulls crate and puts it down she opens it and takes few firebombs they were very small about 2 times the size of marbles but are a lot shinier

Soldier aks louder "miss do you need any help ?"
Jaina "no I'm fine" Jaina was sweating "I could kill him when he comes in but am I capable of doing this" Jainas sweating"
Jaina was looking around there storage area was rather small, but there was 1 place she could hide and lure him where boxes were stacked up so that they can cover tall man, and until he's not seen and Jaina was luckily slightly bellowed the average in size so she can hide without ant problems there, the storage also have 3 storage sides northern eastern and southern northern is from door to the middle,she went to south pulled down bunch of crates and made tons of noise then ran to middle and then quickly went to hide behind the corner in the east.
The soldier begins running in "miss are you alright ?"
Jaina hid behind the crates silent panicking after he ran past her she sneaked up behind him and cut his throat, and killed him on spot Jaina in her mind then started panicking and quickly grabbed the key and few earth bombs, she could find in guys pockets, then left the storage and locked it and then sneaked away from storage and thrown knife into river though 1 of the windows, when nobody was locking and then after she noticed patrol wasn't there at the moment she ran and planted the bombs into few cannons and set them to detonate as soon as the cannons fire.
Jaina after that left the ship and rush outside of port as fast as she could, then once she felt she was out of danger she froze for a minute
Jaina sits down "I think I did it Jaina was shaking and sweating there's no turning back now... Jaina calms herself down I have to tell them what I found out"
Jaina gets up and starts heading out of the port to meet up with Thomas and Daiman.
Thomas and Daiman were sitting in the bar not too far from the port
Daiman looks a bit concerned "ah I see Jaina she doesn't seem to be quite alright though"
After Jaina entered
Daiman "asked are you alright Jaina what happened?"
Jaina smiles "well first things first I got us the access to the ship"
Thomas "that's great!"
Jaina then whispers "then I discovered that admiral is going to send ship on patrol right now, they were paid to kill us from what I managed to overhear, then I infiltrated the ship and I sabotaged it" Jainas then becomes then freezes for second "then I had to kill someone to escape" Jaina looks very anxious about even mentioning that
Thomas "its always hard but what's important is to focus on here and now, and not think too hard about it eventually it stops being a problem even if it always bothers you "
Daiman "yeah we had lessons about this in navy academy they teach us that, its important that not to have the feeling overwhelms us in the middle of battlefield or on missions, we wont have time for things like that we were trained to suppress these feelings and push on and what we can do to avoid panicking in moments like that, and keeping our head cool anyways"
Daiman hugs smile "Jaina I'm just glad you're back in one piece sis"
Jaina warmly smiles and gets little relaxed "thanks alright now let's hear the plan" :P
Daiman "hm well Thomas you got the map of the place right"?
Thomas grins "of course he shows it this the ins and outs of the building"
Jaina looks at Jaina" how did you get this"
Thomas looks at Jaina and smiles "used my connections to acquire the warrent, now we can get in without getting raising any suspicions "
Daiman "the plan is first me and Jaina get in well secure the first floor knock out or kill if absolutely necessary, fill up the ship and leave Thomas would go on the 2nd floor and cover us in case we get attacked"
Daiman looks at Thomas" thanks to you we have an easy way we can get in without alerting anyone, and hopefully not need to hurt anyone "
Daiman smiles "But that ship is gonna be a problem... but Thomas here is a skilled sniper he can go up and give us good cover fire"
Thomas "I will do my best"
Jaina whispers "and I stole some fire and earth bombs from the ship"
Daiman whispers "nice we can definitely use those"
Thomas explains where the ship is, the first floor has 1 hallway which leads to 1 huge room where the ship is and 2 rooms around where storage, next to storage on left is the upper floor are one long hallway that goes around all sides.
Thomas "ill take care of soldiers there if I have to "
Jaina looks excited but still is slightly shaken, but she is trying to shrug it off like its nothing "alright I and Daiman will fill up the ship and leave as quickly as we can"
Daiman "alright then well head out now and leave by evening "
They head out to port to the storage with a ship inside.
Thomas "seems like there are fewer guards around they must be investigating the murder"
Daiman "whispers seem like we got lucky, let's get in there before they get any ideas"
Jaina "right "
they approach the entrance soldiers to stop them before entering.
Soldier "hold this building is off-limits" Jaina shows them Joan's license
Soldier "hm let them pass they move out of the way"
after they pass the soldier Jaina drops few firebombs into Daimans pocket.
there seemed to be only 4 guards 2 on each side.
Soldier "hold it why are you here ?"
Jaina smiles "We were sent by Joan to load the ship with supplies"
The soldier looks at them "show me your license" .....
Jaina hands over the license with little bit annoying expression "why would we lie about this"
Soldier "hmm I didn't get any message from admiral other 2 soldiers to begin approaching "
Daiman notices them one then soldier hands them over the license soldier "hmm they will help you with the ship also here's manual, for the new engine soldier hands it over to Daiman and Jaina
Daiman "alright but why would we need this ?"
Soldier "its easier for both of us if you have manual, this is the first ship of this type in our kingdom I wouldn't want you 2 to screw something up"
Jaina slides in with a mischevious grin on her face "Oh don't worry will make sure it's ready to go "
Soldier and to want to do owe the honor of you coming here, sir"
Thomas "I came here to assist the guards today" then looks at Daiman and Jaina "we just happen to be going the same way so we decided to go together"
Soldier "ah that's great to hear, there has been a murder so most of the guards are alerted and patrolling the port, Thomas goes on the 2nd floor with the guard meanwhile Jaina and Thomas for the first time see the ship "
Jainas surprised at its design compared to ships she has seen, it looked futuristic it had no sails and the upper part outer part was protected by black steel the decks were made from reinforced lumber, the same kind of lumber was used on the lower part of the ship it had no weapons.
Damian and Jaina start loading the supplies.
First, they load crates of ammo and few weapons, then they proceed to water fire and earth crystals as well as food.
From the inside they noticed ship had 2 floors, lower floor is where supplies are located, upper floor is where beds are, there are 10 beds in total the ship is actually pretty small, but it had also kitchen and repair/crafting area, were small and rather not very well equipt but you can do basic stuff in crafting area, and they are 10 cubic meters large compered to bedroom which is about 4 to 5 times the size ,it looks rather crammed in and little uncomfortable, there is also a very small bathroom with bathtub and toilet set powered by single water crystal, the hallway was surprisingly long it spread from 1 to another side of the ship
Jaina whispers "to Daiman lets grab weapons take to knock them out then throw them overboard and leave" Jaina just grabbed a cutlass Daiman grabbed longsword and 2 flintlocks
Daiman "sounds like a plan lets surprise attack them first"
Daiman and Jaina quickly hide behind a wall in storage
Jaina smiles "time to put those 8 years of swordsmanship training to the test"
the soldier looks around "huh where are they turn around what the ?"
Daiman and Jaina stand both with the swords pulled out, Daiman was Sirius while Jaina smirked
Daiman "this ship now belongs to Blackwaterpirates"
one of the soldiers tried to reach for the rifle but Daiman tackled him.
Jaina blocked other soldier's swing then deflects it and kicks soldier back.
soldier "Argh"
Jaina smiles "bring it on"
soldier pushes Daiman off and pulls gun out and blocks Daimans attack, while getting up and then taking few steps back, and tries to stab Daiman the dagger couple of times, second time Daiman grabs dagger and pulls guy closer, and lands a powerful uppercut, which after which guy falls on ground and then Daiman grabs the gun and knocks him out.
meanwhile.
the soldier is swinging at Jaina while Jaina is dodging the strikes with ease
Soldier "I will get that smirk off your face"
Jaina grins "by all means try"
soldier takes long swing which Jaina dodges and then takes advantage of soldier being careless gets around him and pushes him, and watches crashed down on the ground and after he turned around, Jaina was already pointing the cutlass at his neck and then she smirks "maybe you should consider another job" and kicked him in the face knocking him out.
Daiman looks at Jaina "ill throw them overboard go activate the engine"
Jaina "yes captain"
As Daiman trows them off-board the ship Jaina activated the ship's engines at full speed
Jaina "Blackwater pirates huh ?"
Daiman smiles " the name sounds pretty cool"
Jaina smirks "well people will judge that"
Soldier "what the hell why is the ship leaving "
The soldier next to him "we have to alert others the ship was stolen!"
Thomas hit their heads and knocked them out and smiles "alright time for phase 2 "
the ships immediately go out of the range of rifles and cannons sniper decided not to take any chances.
Daiman looks at Jaina "now we just need to take care of that ship yes"
Jaina "yes captain"
Daiman loads fire crystals into the flintlock instead of the bullet "good thing we brought those"
They see the Sloop with kingdoms the red flag with a crown.
Jaina slows down the ship.
Jaina whispers "that's the ship "
Daiman "they probably won't recognize you from this distance"
Captain of the ship steps on the left part of the ship he wore the same unicorn just with few badges he didn't wear a hat but he had pretty long black hair and he used a rifle
Captain of the ship "hmm so you are pirates who Admiral Stewart, sent me to kill he smirked I shall make this quick"
Daiman looks at the captain "feel free to try"
he then pulled the flintlocks before the captain and hit him in the left shoulder, the wound burnt the captain
Captian "GAH!" captain crouched "dam you OPEN FIRE !"
Cannons blow up and kill 2 men each who use them
Jaina that's 4 down I reckon we should keep our distance for now.
Daiman "go stir the ship" he points at the back of the ship where the steering wheel, is as well as few other plugs which help set the engine
Jaina nods and quickly heads to stirring will to stir the ship in a circle
Captian looks frustrated "divide into squads of 4 go on all the sides of the ship and take them out !"
Daiman was shooting at the guards, but it was quite hard to land a shot with them throwing firebombs, from time to time but Thomas helped by clearing out the ship.
before 1 of the soldiers could throw firebomb Thomas shot the firebomb, wounding him, and then Jaina stopped stirring to trow firebomb and managed to kill some soldiers occasionally Thomas used shots from sniper but not for the kill and he was careful to not be noticed.
Jaina "hey maybe it would be better if we let them come on board "
Daiman looks at Jaina "what do you have in mind"
Jaina smiles "it would be more difficult for them to aim, and besides they are pretty wounded already we can dispatch them easier up close, and besides they have much more guns than us "
Daiman "lets hit them instead then"
Daiman runs over to the Stirling wheels while Jaina takes cover, then makes a full circle to increase the speed and then hits sloop from behind causing few soldiers to fall into the water.
Jaina comes and points a sword at them "come over here if you dare then grins"
Captian organized whats left of his soldiers "kill them!" then beginning shooting at Daiman but missed him "argh I need to get closer" he rolls and crouches into cover and used water magic to stop the bleeding"
Jaina and Daiman were taking care of the soldiers.
Daiman shot 2 down and kicked 1 into a river.
Jaina deflects soldiers attack and sword deflects and stabs into ground, after which she crouches hiding behind soldier and causing the gunshot to miss, then pushes guy who pulled out his sword sending him overboard, Jaina then quickly dodged gunshot again but but thrown her sword which missed him, but hit his cape which hate the sterling wheel after which she then rushes in and hits guy in a stomach with a very heavy blow from fist causing him to drop gun then pulled out cutlass and then pulled out guys dagger and stabbed his leg with it and
Soldier "ARGH!"
Jaina then punched him in the head twice then kicked dagger out, and pulled out then dropped cutlass and then kicked him in the stomach causing him to hold his stomach, and then Thomas spined soldier coming in to help him, and then Jaina thrown pushes the soldier to offboard
Jaina smirks and radiants with confidence " all done here"
Daiman uses longsword to knocks soldiers gun away right before he shots, causing it to miss and then proceeds to cut off arm, holding it and kicks guy off-board, he then spun one soldier and deflected swing from another soldier, soldier then dodged Daiman next swing and tries to stab him, Daiman moves out of the way and then shots the sword out of his hands and kicks him in the river.
Captain of the ship the jumps down and a bunch of water splashes and pushes Daiman back.
Capitan looks very angry "hmph useless all of them I will take care of you myself..."
Daiman throws a firebomb at a captain who quickly gathers up water and surrounds bomb with water and stops it from moving then it exposed and he takes no damage.
he then notices bearly in time Jaina attacking trying to cut him, he blocked couple of her swings with a gun and then hit her in the face, then pointed the gun at Daiman shot the bullet then used his water magic to shot 3 shots out of 1 in a shotgun-style shot, one of the bullets hit and 1 knocked the gun out of Daimans hand Jaina got up
Daiman pulls long sword "alright let's attack him from the blind spot"
Daiman and Jaina then surrounded and they stared down at each other for a few seconds, after which Daiman fakes an attack and then he gets kicked in the kneed by Jaina
Captian "argh "
Daiman then grabs the weapons so that Jaina could cut him
But captain pulled Daiman then headbutted, him causing Daiman to let go and then he deflects Jainas swing, and hit her in the head with the bottom of the gun and then pointed it at Daiman
Captian smirked "such cheap tricks won't work on me"
Jaina with sarcastic voice "what about this then"
Jaina kicks him in the balls and then gets up
Captain "You will pay for that !"
Daiman grabs the other flintlock, Jaina and Daiman were slightly bruised despite him looking rather skinny he hits quite hard
Daiman starts charging up guns
Jaina looks surprised "what are you doing"
Captian "oh no you don't then point the gun at Daiman "
Jaina charged in forced him to block "you're fighting with me now"
Jaina blocks an attack and then dodges captains attempt at head butting her, and then stabbed his leg
Jaina teases the captain "hmph you're not much better then you're grunts are you"
Daiman holds guns sideways but tops of the flintlocks are touching each other
Daiman "checkmate" bullets imbued with fire crystals energy bullets imitate fire aura which eventually combines into 1 big aura.
Captian tries to block the bullet with the rifle but bullet piercing through the rifle easily.
Daiman turns to ship "as for you lot send admiral Stewart our regardless, and tell him his plan failed and that this ship now belongs to Blackwater pirates Jaina get us out of here.
Jaina "yes Captian"
Daiman "once were far away enough will stop rest up and organize."
Jaina smiles "I will say the name has a nice ring to it"
Thomas smiles as he getting down from floor 2 thinking to himself "good luck you'll need it I did what I could Mr. Brown I guess will see if this was the right thing to do ..."
once the fight was over, the night finally came, Daiman and Jaina decided to rest after they were far enough, they both were thinking back to their home, but also being excited about the start of their Pirate career.
