Chapter 3: Reincarnated (3)
Everyone nodded and warmly welcome her.
The Madam instructed the old maid to guide her to her room to rest from a long drive. She followed the old maid from behind and didn't even bother to look around, she just obediently follow in dazed. The old maid opened the door for her and gestured her to enter.
The room was located in the east wing of the mansion while the young master room was in the west wing.
The old maid looked at her and warmly smiled at her, "Do you need something?"
When she heard the voice, it snapped her from her dazed look and smile in return to the old maid, "no thank you" she politely answered.
The old maid smile grew wide when she heard this young miss answer politely and nodded in approval.
It seems that the master and madam found a good child.
"I'll call you for dinner later" and left but before she closed the door she heard the girl said thank you again.
Ai Fei stood there in the middle of the room in dazed again. She blinked a few times again trying to organize her thoughts.
She walked towards the large mirror and saw her reflection.
Her hands were trembling and put it against the mirror without averting her eyes from her own reflection,
"This is not me" she whispered slowly.
"This is definitely not me" she said again to the girl in the mirror who mimics her movements.
She put both her hand in her head moving in different direction disarranging her neatly comb hair. "Just what the hell happen?" she asked herself but no matter how hard she think, she just couldn't think a right answer to her questions.
"Okay… okay" she tried to calm herself down.
"Breathe in, breathe out" she continue exercising her breathing when she felt like going insane any minute by now.
She sat down in the bed when she finally calm down. "So I was in the car accident and I'm pretty sure that I'm dying but…"
she looked around and finally realized that her room was huge. It is four times larger than her apartment, she estimated.
She closed her eyes lightly pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.
"This must be a dream" she open her eyes,
"yeah, this must be a dream!" she said to herself,
"I might be in coma after the accident and I am dreaming right now" she was trying to convince herself,
"yeah, all of this is just in my head, a product of my imagination, right?"
She stood up in frustration when she heard nothing, it's too quiet.
She pinched her arm too hard thinking that she might wake up by it and almost cursed when she felt the pain.
She sat at the edge of the bed again with a sighed, then let her body fall back to the bed and stared at the ceiling.
