Chapter 5: For now all he can do is wait

Ignatius was shocked. Shocked beyond belief. This young man, this CHILD had multiple elements. That alone couldn't be to weird, many people awoke with two or more elements. Ignatius had once briefly talked to someone who had five. But they only awoken with two primary elements and gain three sub elements, but this… this was something else. No one ever has been loved by the gods so much to have more than ten primary elements and that is with training for a whole lifetime and not trying to gain any sub elements. But in front of him was an exception. This CHILD for god sake had all of the fourteen primary elements. There was no way to look at it, he could become one of the greatest elemental users ever and that was just with the primary elements. There was no limit of how many sub elements a human can have but they would need to have two primary elements to fuse another like have water and fire to create the sub element steam. So with all fourteen he could quite literally have power over all elements. And then there was the child himself. Earlier Ignatius had overheard King with the tavern keeper and then when King said his name it was clearly a lie. But now with the same name King was somehow telling the truth. Ignatius was a magician first and foremost. He was taught like all magician that names have power. After all words is what channel spellcraft, Ignatius knew that almost all magic users had names that reflected their power. Ignatius' own name told people that he was a primary fire user. So when King said his name Ignatius knew that King's new name was highly influenced by spellcraft. Ignatius did know if King was also a magician as well as an elemental user or just very lucky with guessing his own 'magic name' or was truly a magician . But if he was then the power this child had was overpowered. Then there was what happened with the tavern keeper and whoever the other scream belonged to. Now Ignatius had never seen either the void or space element in use before, and both could have been the cause of what happened to the missing men. Voices without bodies was a rare occurrence mainly this happen with ghosts and what not, but the way King used either or both of the elements was never seen before. Ignatius wasn't not sure whether this was a new sub element not recorded of a void-space combination, or some unique way of mixing the elements together. And where was King from. He wasn't the tan brown of the Khaumridge valley city-state, he was pale like the mountain dwellers surrounding Khaumridge but he was somewhat lighter. His clothes or hunting jacket at least indicated that he came from some wealth. Most likely had lots of magic running through his veins because those with magic or elemental users or heros often greatly increased the chance of having an ability but only for the first born, after that the effect starts to decrease which Ignatius knew too well. But if all that was true how could such a prodigy not be known to the world. Igneous continued to ponder about many other things during King's sleep, So many questions but no answers..... for now all he can do is wait....
