Chapter 49: Zoya's family await Recoil's story..
Meanwhile Recoil was being made welcome by Zoya's family.
She found herself accommodated in an upstairs room adjacent to Zoya and her sister.
Recoil lay too comfortable to move sunken into a large queen-size bed.
It was covered in a multitude of colors and geometric shapes that made up the patchwork quilt laid over it.
She had bathed and changed and was staring at the ceiling awaiting a call from the adjacent room that would signal time to descend and share the evening meal with Zoya's family.
The Ovcharka - too had been freshly accommodated in the kennels with the family dog - with whom he was making himself acquainted. Rurik was lucky enough to have found himself in the company of a well-groomed and beautiful female Samoyed, and had begun a series of attempts to impress her.
Hearing the call of her birth name - 'Pamela', was unexpected as Zoya beckoned her.
Recoil henceforth 'Pamela' emerged from the room and descended downstairs with Zoya who was holding the hand of her younger sister Nina.
They were first to seat themselves at the family table, as Zoya's mother Yefrosinia and the family maid brought out several steaming dishes - (Borscht, Pelmeni, etc).
Soon Zoya's father Mikhail had joined them and they said a prayer of thanks their meal and for the healing of their daughter before serving dinner..
Dear Pamela, welcome to family home Zoya's father spoke. Thank-you so much for returning our daughter strong and well again - this miracle," he said. Smiling at Zoya, then he stood walked over and kissed her forehead, again he said thank-you. Tears were again in Zoya's mothers eyes.
Arkady mysteriously told us you are the key to our daughters miracle.. he continued...
So please - Pamela.. hhow...? he asked stammering..
