Jay was strolling like a drunkard, and running like a maniac, stumbling herself injured, tripping on every step but .... still not pausing even once! It's hard to breath but that's alright.
Nights were growing colder by passing each Autumn phase. Jay was still sweating cold all over her face. Her heart was clutched tightly and haplessly.
This time, she has nowhere to go, no place has a shelter for a person like her. Not even her home! Is it a very fair treatment for a human to suffer this way?
Human?
Is she even one?
Calling herself that is a complete wrong.
- You know what to do Jay.
- No ...…. I won't
- It's an only way out for you.
- This time, I won't submit to you.
Jay condition was not as corrupted as last time. It was slight in shape. So she was in her right mind to deny the services and manipulation of the alter mind.
- If you don't do it .... Things won't be this same.
- I will still not!
- You won't last long.
- I will ... never.
- You're weak. And you're in no position to defy me now!
- I'm not.
- You dealt to surrender to me, you gave me your all.
- The consequences ...... changed everything.
"Right then, you have no choice. Either way, you can't survive it without me. You can just feel like you're dying and live through it, or can just die suffering and end it all quicker at once!".
Jay paid it no heed. She wanted to, but could hide nowhere.
Figures everywhere, stares everywhere and, soon there will be pointed indexes too. There were no lanes around to catch a breath.
There was a place though, where she would be isolated. Jay hated that place. But she could only make it up to there till her attack rises up to its peak. Beggars can't be choosers. She must risk her interest under her survival.
Highschool.
A place encouraging bullying and ragging, anything else other than education.
The place was totally deserted, darker than Satan's hell, perfect for Jay. Such a hopeless place that not even a night guard was in sight!
But the situation helped in nothing more than running away from the world. She could only shelter herself and avoid attention. But this horrendous psychopathic paranoia will waste no time in eating her away. She just recovered from the last blow and can't end up same again.
This pain, the contraction of her insides, this brain freakiness, the heartache and no control over herself. Circles started appearing before her eyes, warning the onset of the second phase. Her conscious mind was slowly fading away. She was unaware of her surroundings. Her breath slowing gradually ...…...
But it happened again!
When she opened her eyes the next time, her skin was rising up to tear from her flesh due to the cold wind. Her hair tousled and she was lying still at the high school premises but her location had somehow changed. She got up slowly and clasping her head and trying to shake in the memories of what actually happened to bring her back to her calm. Because the situation she was in a while ago, no one knows how much time did she cross through, was impossible to overpower just by passing out or sleeping in.
Something must have happened.
Something which had acted like an anaesthesia to numb herself from it.
And it obviously not anything good.
As she tried to feel herself to her fear if she couldn't have hold it in and lost control to her mind, a sharp ache on her cheek washed away the fuzziness between the memory. She touched it lightly and hissed in pain. It was swollen, and right through inside her jaws and gums too. Surely a fist has ran in to it. It's not something she did herself. As she tried to put her body in motion to check for other areas, she felt and noticed a blue bruise on her ankle and knees. Even her shoulder was unable to bend straight!
Clear signs of her…...being beaten!
Then it all started coming to her.
...…..
- At a late hour lurking here?
- Some kind of lost pup?
"Bitch!", came the correction of a tone. None of the voices even sounded decent. Nor they sounded old. Probably outcasted gathers of useless teens or older.
"It's a pretty one!", one of them commented.
"And seems like a junkie", another said in a less mocking tone. He sounded like the preacher amongst them.
"Seriously?", an amused expression, "Bitch at this age!!!".
Jay's eyes and mouth were dry to death. Her lips were white and face resembled a zombie. She couldn't stop trembling. Her breathing went on just due to habit and not her will or control. She has no idea how is she holding on and held on. Her mind was lost and senses had wandered off. The undying effect had been desiccated for too long without any curing step. Thus, had resulted like this. Jay was not herself anymore. Only the soul was haunting in her body and nothing else was left.
A strong smell of cigarette brought vision to Jay's already opened eyes. Her grey pupils regained color as she looked from where the voices emerged.
A pair of body in front of her and another shadow pair behind them.
She looked up at them and only realized that there were figures around her.
She didn't bother hiding herself anymore.
Her arm automatically raised up own its own and faced them in a begging manner. Her voice just made its way out of her throat, cracked and mended," Help…...me!".
Any other outcast would surely ignore, but since her state and form appeared just like an addict to the present bodies, they hesitated. Even though in such a situation, her eyes had maintained its usual gaze, powerful and burnt up piercing. It was only the alter mind which was controlling those outcomes. Jay doesn't know where she's looking, but her stare was making the ones before her back off a step.
"Hey Travis, things are serious it seems", came a shaky voice, "Bitch's a grade level than us"
"We can get in trouble if we hit up on a minor", the guy addressed and with a serious manner spoke.
"We don't even know her vial kind", came another hesitation.
Jay was moving her head from where the voices were heard. She has no idea what they are talking about. She only knew that in a couple of minutes, if nothing is done, she's gonna end up giving in to her mind for the worse.
Her head tilted and fell besides, preserving the begging expression with her still raised hand, begging at them. Her surrounding was vibrating as it started mixing up in a portrait and vaporizing in air.
"Please...", she begged once more in a crying need. She doesn't know whom she was begging, what she was asking......she just needed to come out from within herself. She needed to break that fucking shell of an oblivion!
It hurts. Its killing!
The guy addressed as Travis stepped forward and bent down on one of his knees," What is your hit type? Do you have any vial left with you?".
Jay turned towards the voice with a dumb expression. Is he saying something?
No reply. The guy sighed.
He looked back and asked," Got anything?".
A guy replied," Will crack do?".
- No, judging her face, something stronger is needed.
- Travis heyy! She's too young, we will get in trouble!
- We will shoot her up as she requires it right now. After that, she decides on her own.
- But Travis....
- You have a Morphine vial? Gimme! Quick!
The guy hesitantly gave him a small vial. He took it and broke the seal of the neck. Then he produced a syringe from his pocket and sucked up the material inside it all. Shaking the syringe, he tossed the vial to the other one, "Dispose it!", he ordered.
"Careful dude", the guy warned," Don't shoot up all at once".
The guy pulled Jay's arm towards him and opened it straight. It was pale and clean, but with the fading scars of the injuries still prevailed. He looked at them with narrowed eyes. But there was no sign of what he was searching. No sign of any injection intake. He looked up at her with confusion.
"What are you?", he traced one of the scars with his index," No sign of any hit, do you directly intake it? Or .......is this even the symptom of a junkie? I dunno what I'm even doing", he whispered as he pushed the needle right in to her vein and slowly pushed the nozzle, emptying everything inside her. As he took it out and tossed it to one of the men as usual, asking of him to dispose it, he looked at Jay waiting for the consequences.
Jay pulled back her arm and kept staring as the injected area started turning red.
