Chapter 11: Little Thief
Lily always loved going to the mall, because whenever she sees other people smiling, she becomes infected by it and smiles too. But she always makes sure that she's far from the crowd. So she roamed exactly at the lonely fastfood area.
When she stepped on something hard, she picked it up and discovered it was a wallet. She scanned its contents hoping to find any information about the owner, just to make sure she could return it if she saw them while making her way to the lost and found centre.
As she was busily scanning its contents it didn't escape her notice that there was suddenly a big shadow looming over her.
When she was about to look up she heard someone shrieking "Hey! Little thief!" It was really painful to the ears. She checked if her ears were bleeding. Seeing that it was not she heaved a sigh of relief.
She then looked up and discovered it was a handsome male being. She got flustered at first, but when she noticed that he was a big gay wearing a big hat, she calmed down.
She was so angry of being called theif so she refuted him "Hey big gay! Who are you calling a thief?!"
Tyler's anger just got to a whole new level he shouted while trembling in anger "H-hey I'm not a gay! And Y-you! You're the little thief!"
"I'm not a thief I was about to return your wallet to the lost and found centre."
"Then why are you scanning my wallet? That's not necessary at all."
"Of course its necessary!"
"Of course you'd say its necessary because you're a theif!"
"How many times do I have to say I'm not?! In fact I would not lust over such small amount of cash!"
"I don't believe you. If you really don't then prove it."
Right now Lily just wanted to throw a bunch of cash to his face like how main characters of a drama does. Unfortunately she doesn't have any right now so she started to panic. If she can't prove that she's not a thief, she might be sent to jail.
Suddenly an idea lit up in Lily's brain. She fished out the platinum card in her pocket then showed it to him.
"Hmmph! Is this enough to prove myself that I'm not a Thief?"
Looking at the small card Tyler was clearly shocked. But before he could make sense of the situation, his wallet was smacked into his face at the same time hearing her shouting "Here you big fat gay!" He felt so much pain that his blood boiled in anger again. When he was about to complain at her, he discovered that she already disappeared from her spot.
Lily ran as fast as she could. It was a good thing that she was already so far away that the lunatic gay would have a hard time catching up to her. Lily wasn't aware of how her extreme fear to a stranger was disregarded in a fit of anger. It was only when she was so far away that she discovered she managed to talk to a stranger by herself!
But she was thankful enough that she had done it. Because in the future there will be no one that she'll be familiar with, everyone would become a stranger. If she doesn't talk to one she'll become isolated from the world. And clearly no man is an island. So she needs to prepare herself for the time when her grandpa...
But she mustn't think about it, at least not now. How could she curse her grandpa? Lily stopped her train of thoughts and slowly made her way to the hospital.
