Chapter 3: Scarlet
When the kids leave the Souta turned around and said, "Erza is it, Are you okay?"
Erza was in dazed staring at Souta's face. She always dreamed of a prince saving her, she thought that was only in fairy tale.
"Oi!! Are you okay?" Souta waved his hands in front of Erza when she doesn't answer his question.
Erza was brought back to her sense when Souta waved his hands in front of her face. She saw a looked of concern in his eye's. This was the first time someone help her and showed concern for her. Instead of answering him, tears gathered at the corner of her eye's and it started falling.
She started to sobs, "wuuuwu, wuwuu thanks you ahhhh"
Souta was shocked when he heard her crying and he began to panicked, but when he heard her thanked him. He smiled gently at her and gently patted her back with his hands.
"There, there, cry out all of your frustration" Souta said while still gently patting her back. He know that she went a lot of hard things in her life.
Then she began to cry loudly without holding back, she letting out all the suffering she felt in this few years she live.
Souta and Erza stay like that for a long time. After a while Erza started to calm down, so she separated herself from his embrace.
"Do you feel better now?" Souta asked while his shirt was covered from tears and snot.
"Ye... Yes, I'm feeling better" Erza replied.
"Ummm.." Erza seems want to say something as she kept fidgeting her fingers.
"What is it?" Souta raised an eyebrows and asked her.
"Your name..." Erza said in a tiny voice as she lowered her head.
"Ahh!! Sorry I haven't introduce myself" Souta scratched the back of his head.
"My name is Souta, Souta Yoshizawa" Souta introduced himself and stretched out his hand asking for a handshake.
"I'm Erza" Erza also said her name in a tiny voice. She was hesitating to shake his hands but Souta grab it.
"Last name?" Souta asked her.
"I don't know who my parent is so..." Erza said as she lowered her head in sadness.
Souta remembered that Jellal was the one who gave her a surname scarlet in the anime.
"Okay I have decided" Souta said loudly.
"Hmmm" Erza looked at him curiously.
"Let me give you a surname"
"Ehhh?!!" Erza was startled by this. Him giving her a last name.
"Hmmmm??" Souta seems to be thinking as he was holding his chin with his hand.
"You have a beautiful scarlet red hair, so how about Erza Scarlet. That's it from now on you will be called Erza Scarlet, do you like it?"
"Beautiful? Do you think my hair is beautiful?" Erza asked him when she heard his words.
"Yep, your hair was one of the most beautiful things in the world" Souta smiled at her widely.
Erza lowered her head and her cheeks flushed red.
She muttered, "Erza, Erza Scarlet"
She looked up at Souta and gave him the most beautiful smile and said, "Thank You!!"
