Chapter 69: Chapter 65
Hephaestus was the master blacksmith of the Olympians. He was the Prince of Olympus disgraced and abandoned by his own parents.
To the beings that valued beauty, he was an abomination and he grew up with the giants. He struggled and learned to create things with his hand.
He never really cared for his so called parents but sadly they cared. His skill became better and better that it attracted their attention.
He was forced into working for them or his life would become a nightmare. To reward him for his work they married him to the most beautiful woman in the world, Aphrodite.
He didn't love her and she was forced on him. She didn't love him either so he didn't care about her philandering acts.
He continued to do what he loved best create new things with his hands and teach others the joy of this action.
He really didn't trust woman because of his mother, the figure that is supposed to love unconditionally had betrayed him. It was further let down by Aphrodite who was supposed to be the representative of love but in reality was just a slut.
To make it even worse was Artemis who was completely biased against men, like women didn't do anything wrong in this world.
To further drop his view were the Amazons who raped and killed men. They got pregnant and threw away the male child onto a boat to die or luckily survive.
He changed the location of his smithy once he found about such transgressions. He felt connected to such children as he was an unwanted child himself.
He took them and treated them like his own children.
He made weapons for the Amazons in return and told them to stop killing the humans, in return.
They followed his condition and luckily they hadn't been killing of people for the past 200 years.
Hephaestus was one of the kindest Olympians but that didn't mean he cared for the others. He despised his parents to the core.
He made sure to never use the best of his ability for anyone as they didn't deserve it. He could have made the Bolt stronger but he decided to put all of his spirit in it.
In his eyes Zeus was retardation incarnate and was a failure of a ruler. The man had singlehandedly almost caused their kind to become extinct.
In the old days they didn't use to be connected to the belief of mortals but the genius got tricked by Darkseid and thought it was a great plan.
With the connection to the belief of mortals, all of them enjoyed a growth in power that was insane that they could even contend with the primordials.
But soon they realized the problem, the mortals started to move on from them as the Olympians were crazy bastards and the power started to get lower and lower.
They only realized the problem when some of them were erased from existence as the belief in them seized to exist.
They quickly cut of the connection but the damage was done. They had lost half their original powers and allowed Darkseid to send his avatars into their domain.
Hephaestus and the others could only curse at him for his decisions. It was these kinds of decisions that led to his brothers fighting for the throne.
But this didn't matter to him anymore and he lived his life in peace.

"Hello, I am here to meet the master of all blacksmiths."
Hephaestus heard that cheerful tone as a young man entered his smithy and living quarters. It was a huge place that could be compared to a football stadium.
Inside this place lived hundreds of Amazonian males with their father/master.
It was surprising to see a male wander here so freely a Amazons wouldn't allow such a thing normally but he had been informed by Diana so he was aware of the man.
Naruto Uzumaki, the leader of Golden Dawn and one of the torch bearers of this new world. The man loved by the Amazons for his combat skills and personality.
It was a miracle of a miracle that those man hating women would ever like someone.
He was impressed by the young man even before meeting him and seeing him in person, Hephaestus had to agree with the description.
The young man had a good presence that made everyone around him be at peace.
"Come down here boy" Hephaestus called out to him as he was working on another one of his projects, a mechanical dragon.
He had moved on with time and made many things. He wasn't just some old style blacksmith making swords and shields.
He could make guns. He could make giant mechanical abominations and what not. He was a fan of human creativity and watched their products.
He had made giant transforming robots as well and they were now being used as guardians of this forge.

Naruto looked at the man directly from the moment he had entered since his presence was unmistakable. He could feel curiosity from him, wariness, kindness and affection for the people around him.
Just like what he had learned, the man wasn't bad even if he had blown the fuse at times.
He was a tall man of 2 meters with a strong looking body that was buff and muscular. He had long black hair and beard.
His appearance was just average not really ugly. Olympians could easily change their appearance but their true appearance never changes so he wasn't good enough in their eyes.
But this was his real size either as he was actually a giant, 100 m tall.
Hearing his words, Naruto flew towards him instead of teleporting as that seemed rude and he might use that hammer to smash his head by mistake.
"Hello Hephaestus, my name is Naruto and it is an honor to meet you." Naruto landed and stood in front of the man himself.
Greeting him with a friendly tone and gesture, Naruto was confident that it would go well.
"No need for the pleasantries, I know who you are. Now, why are you here?" Hephaestus looked at him and asked in a calm tone. He already knew the answer. Nobody comes here except for a request.
"Would you like to come with me?"
"What? Elaborate boy, I can't read your mind." That was a confusing start and already different from his expectations.
"I have heard about you and these men. I know the history of the Amazons and some of your history. I felt bad for all of you and wish to extend a helping hand.
I want you to come live with me on the moon where the men here could enjoy a proper life and you could also have people to talk to. I know you don't need it but it will be better with friends." Naruto explained his point. This was his plan from the moment he had learned about them.
Hephaestus was definitely blown away by his words as he could hear the honesty dripping from his tongue like honey.
"Is this your way of getting things from for free?" Hephaestus didn't lose his cool and continued to question his reasoning.
"No, I will always pay back my debts. This is an honest attempt to make your lives better and I will leave it up to you to decide. But remember to look at the men around you, not everyone is suited to this kind of life and you can check out the area before deciding.
As for things, I want to know if you could make my equipment even better. I will pay for it, if it is reasonable. I need it to end Hercules so I hope you won't decline both of my proposals." Naruto answered slowly as he looked at the men around them, his words slipping into their ears.
Hephaestus agreed with Naruto's assessment that this wasn't a good place to raise kids and stay for your whole life but he didn't have the ability to take care of them in the outside world.
His words didn't have anything false in it and he could easily check it out himself.
"I have heard your words and I will give it a thought. I am impressed by your words and actions so I won't be harsh on you. Just take down the man and woman in the future, can you do that?"
Naruto didn't expect such a condition but it was understandable. They had done injustice to him and continued to treat this world as their toy box.
"I always planned to clean everything up. No exceptions were considered." Naruto replied as he extended his hand.
"Don't regret this oath" Hephaestus muttered as he shook his hand and the oath was put in place that it would burn Naruto to ash if he ever went against the agreement.
"Now pass your equipment to me and I will upgrade them to the best of my abilities." Hephaestus had tried this with others as well but none had agreed. They had retreated upon hearing those words. Their words of justice and fairness were only limited to mortals.
But now he had finally found the person who could help him burn down Olympus and he was not going to hold back any of his skills this day.
He was going to make a master piece.
