Chapter 15: (Asshole Richie)
We reach a huge beautiful mansion... no scratch that it's enormous. The guy at the security buzzes us in after Alden gave him his name. The guy called him Alpha...hmmm weird. As our car passes through the garden and reaches the front. I look at Alden only to find him already looking at me... like he's waiting for my reaction and he's not wrong because he has it coming.
"This is your house?" I'm all but speechless with the beauty... his name should be Asshole Richie...just saying.
"Yup"
"What? The entire town lives with you?"
"No, just some family members" He winces a bit and asks me to follow him inside.
Remember when I said that it was beautiful from the outside? well that was nothing because it's absolutely stunning from the inside.
The living room was decorated with the shades of white and blue and looked right out of an interior magazine. The staircase was spiral and not to mention there was an effing slider right beside them. I raised my eyebrows at Alden to which he only smirked.
"Let's go to my room, we can discuss about the assignment there". He led me upstairs to his room.
Technically, now that I've seen the interior, I was expecting a nice room but it didn't come close to what I entered into. The room is big and has a masculine touch with the shades of white and gray. There is a king-sized bed in the center.
"Sit" He made a way towards a door and reached for his t-shirt.
"ummm... what are you doing?" I mean if he's giving me a show of strip tease, I might as well enjoy it.
"Relax...I'm just going to change quickly" He winked at me and removed his t-shirt while walking into a closet.
Holy hell... He has a walking closet as well. Who the hell is this guy?
He comes back after a minute or two... of which I'm unaware as I've come back from my surprised dimension and focusing on the assignment at hand and that's why I don't notice him sneaking back on me.
"moving on with the assignment already... I see. Are you trying to dominate me Angel"?
I yelp and, in my attempt, to steady myself I end up on the floor. The bastard is smirking at me.
"what the hell is wrong with you? who sneaks up on someone like that, Asshole"
"people Angel, people sneak up on others" he frowns for a bit at the end as if thinking about something.
"what were you doing by the way, couldn't wait for me...I thought this was a group project"
"well, we can do it now, together. I've already made a list of topics we can work on".
"Alright" he sighs and we start working on our assignment.
We've been working for I don't remember how long...yeah, I tend to do that. When we hear a voice grrrr we look at each other and then again, the sound...oh no... it's the sound of our empty stomach... we try to suppress our laugh but end up rolling on the bed laughing.
"ok! Let's go. I'm sure we'll be able to find something in the kitchen" he says, making his way towards the door.
"I think, I should go. It's already 6:30" He gives me a look that says I'm not letting it go.
"Alright" I sigh, looking at him as his expression says something and his voice says something else. But still I pick up my stuff and move downstairs and towards the door and come face to face to one of the guys I've seen with Alden.
"Hey, look at you, the princess, I'm Cade by the way" Cade is of good 5'10'' height with brown hairs and hazel eyes smiling at me.
"Shia, nice to meet you", I shake his hand.
"you didn't tell me she was coming over, Alden", Alden narrows his eyes.
"Anyways, you're leaving?"
"Yeah, we were working on our assignment and it's getting really late"
"Well, let me at least drop you home" I frown.
"There'll be no need of that, I'm dropping her home" Alden says and I realize that I'm sandwiched between these two.
"Maybe I should take the bus" I say, moving to the side.
"Don't be stupid, let's go" Alden takes my hand and leaves the house with me trailing behind him.
Well that's one way of it.
