Chapter 97: Confit Byaldi for Breakfast?!
"Let's eat the breakfast that my chosen chef made!" George was wondering about what kind of food will Remi make for their breakfast.
"It's probably western food right?" George wondered. He made Remi wore that traditional chef hat, the toque blanche. It made Remi looked like a professional chef that's specialized in French cuisine. So George assumed that Remi will cook a French-style food for their breakfast. "Oh god! I'm very excited to eat good foods! Is it a croissant? Or maybe a baguette?"
"L- look! The chef is also a rat!" Little ginseng exclaimed. A small rat with a chef's toque came out from the kitchen with a covered dish on his back.
Su Ling and the others were also flabbergasted by it. "How did master find such talent with these rats?!" They thought to themselves.
Remi stopped in the front of George, so he grabbed the dish with a steel lid from his back and placed it on the table.
Then the chef, Remi went back to the kitchen with three of his helper to help him serve the dishes to their guest.

Soon, the table was full of dishes with a metallic lid to cover their heat. George also placed cheeses for the rats to eat. "Thanks for the food!"
Everyone started opening the lid and was flabbergasted by it.
George rubbed his eyes while he covered the dish with it's lid. He then opened it to see it again. "Uhh.. I thought we were going to eat a piece of bread with a jam or something like that... Why does this dish look like it wasn't a dish for starting the day?! It's more like for dinner!"
The others also nodded their head in agreement.
George knew what kind of dish is this. It was that very same food that the real Remi made in the movie. What the heck? Eating Confit Byaldi or what people have known as a ratatouille for breakfast? Is that even legal?
Not only that, it looked very fancy looking with some sauce surrounding the veggies. "Ah whatever.. I'll just eat it! It smelled kinda good tho!" Said George.
All of then also started to eat and thought that it was kinda good. "These veggies tasted really good! I never tasted anything like this in my life! It's colorful! Tasty! Juicy! I don't even know anymore!" Said Mu Yifei.
"I don't know that we could cook these vegetables for this wonderful dish! They retain their juice and immediately melted when we put it in our mouth! And the sourness from the tomato made me addicted to it! I felt like I could eat a ton of it and won't feel nauseated!" Said Themerm who suddenly became a food critics after he tasted this confit byaldi.
George agreed with them. "I know right! Especially this tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots! Wait.. does ratatouille have potato and carrots?!"

"I don't think there are... Wait... Don't tell me Remi made this because that's all the ingredients that we have in this mansion?!" George was pretty baffled when he saw it for the first time. But he clearly remembered that he gave a few kinds of vegetables to show the pigtificates about vegetables.
The pigtificates and Mu Yifei nodded their head. "That's why we occasionally tried to hunt deer and rabbits for consumption."
"Ah! So it's because they don't have any more ingredients! I see..." Said George inwardly. "Well.. Fine! Tell me what kind of vegetables do you want? You could store it in the refrigerator too! Just tell me!"
George thought that maybe he should order Sun Zhou to take an errand and buy a ton of veggies for them. "Ah.. why not you guys write down the list of veggies! I'll ask Sun Zhou to buy all of it!"
When they tried to write, George realized that they each had different characters on their paper. And this is definitely won't going to work.
"Ahh... Feifei.. Could you teach the pigtificates about Chinese language? So you guys could communicate with each other?!"
Mu Yifei thought that George had said that before. Is it deja vu? Well.. Let's just replied it respectfully! "I'll gladly do it, Master!"
Mu Yifei also thought of that a few times, but when she wanted to teach them... They didn't understand what she was trying to do. But if there's George, it was possible that the pigtificates will know about her intentions.
"Is this all the things you need? I'll ask Sun Zhou to buy all of it in bulk! And store it in my shop. Even though there is no refrigerator in there it won't rot quickly because there's a time difference, so it shouldn't be much trouble!"
George then smiled at them. "Bye! I need to go back to the shop. I want to sell a new item that's very interesting! Oh yeah.. Take these for emergency food!" He gave them five kilos of short-grain rice, a few kilos of assorted vegetables and meats.
"Thank you very much, Master! I'll definitely teach the pigtificates to speak! You'll see the next time you come here!"
"Haha... Okay, but you shouldn't forget to feed the rat too!"
George left the twilight forest and come back to his shop. Literally, only ten minutes have been passed since he went to the twilight forest.
The night was still dark and people were still sleeping peacefully. George went back with his battle god rat, Jerry on his shoulder.
George then looked at the eat me cake on his table and looked at Jerry in his shoulder. Then he had a ridiculous idea.
"Umm.. is it a bad idea? Is it even safe for non-human consumption?!"
「Ding! It's definitely safe to do! But if it was bigger, Jerry will need more food to fill his stomach.」
"Duh.. of course, I know that!" George then grabbed the eat me cake, took a small portion of it and gave it to Jerry, the battle god.
It was going to be bad if Jerry ate all of it and destroyed the freakin' shop.
