Chapter 6: Chapter 6. The Problem.
Martin taken a bath as soon as reached home. Taking a bath become part of his hobby after he transmigrated to this world. Only when he done relaxing inside the bathtub did he comes out from the bathroom.
"Eh, Lina not at home?" Martin muttered after a while he didn't seen Lina at home.
"Yes, Lina leaves soon after we done shopping this morning. She seems has some matters to do." Maria who currently sits on the couch while watching drama told to Martin.
"Oh, thank," Martin said with nonchalant. He never thought that Maria would heard his muttered voices. He immediately walk passed his Maria to head his room.
"Alright. Martin, have you seem a little avoiding toward mother since yesterday, right?" Maria said her concern with a little doubtful expression on her.
"Am I? Maybe there a little stress on the study." Martin found an excuse.
"Then, can you told mother about it? I will do my best to help you vent it all out, you know?" Maria asked along with a motherly concern.
Maria, who only in early thirty but has an early twenty beautiful figure along with baby face that without any of facial wrinkles. She said those kind of word to someone might ravage her if she lives in the previous world.
Martin immediately shook his head to clear all the dirty mind. He knows that she just wanted to asked about his problem and try to solved for him. He should feels grateful rather than has those kind of thought.
"Well, I can settle it myself. So please don't worry about me." Martin said.
He don't want to talk much to Maria, since he wanted her slowly to adapting to his current self. He don't really want to faking himself to be somebody for all his life. That why, he needed to changes slowly and keep distance from the previous owner family for now.
"Really? You must tell me if you really have a problem, okay." Maria told while her expression is a little sad with her son unwillingness to share his problem with her.
"Em, alright. If there nothing else, I going in my room first." Martin said before quickly makes an excused.
Though, he succeed to makes an excused,he still fells hungry. He goes out his room after few minutes entered which resulted Maria looked at him.
"Martin, is there something you want to say?" Maria said with an slightly happy expression. She thought that Martin decided to told his problem to her.
"Nope. I just hungry, is there something to eat."Martin asked.
"Oh,you do hungry huh. Since it already evening, do you want mother to makes a quick cook for you." Maria said with her eyes accumulated with an happiness.
"I'll be thankful then." Martin said to Maria while nodding his head.
"Silly, this my responsibilities as your mom." Maria told while a beaming expression was vividly shown on her face.
Martin keep silent, he knows that the woman before him was always wanted to pull their relationship more closer since she entered his family as a step-mom. But, the previous owner always playing game and watch a comic to avoid his step-mom.
Maria only takes a few minutes to make the quick meal for him. Martin was amazed the way Maria cooks for the quick meal. Other than the technology was advance in this world, the woman before him also has a superb ability to cook.
"Why do you in daze? Here have a taste of your mom cooking ability!"Maria asked before told Martin to eat the meal that she just made.
"Oh, sorry. I will eat it now." Martin was surprised at himself who just dazed at the woman superb ability.
He immediately try it, sure enough the food is good like all the meal he had after transmigrated to this world.
'Yum Yum Yum'
He quickened his speed to eat the food without caring Maria who looks at him with surprised expression. Only after he just finished eating does he notice his worst table manner and there Maria looks at him while he eating.
"Thank, the meal taste good." After knowing that he just shames himself yet again, he has bashful face.
" He He, It seems the meal I made have triggered your, huh. Okay, lets mother washes the dish." Maria chuckle while teased Martin.
"There no need, I will do it myself." Martin said before quickly going to kitchen without got Maria permission.
Maria was surprised by Martin sudden action who wanted wash the dish himself. She immediately follow along to the kitchen to observing Martin.
'What a shameful day again.' Martin thought in his mind while washing the dish.
Martin washed the dish the he just used perfectly. He don't want to exposes any of his flaw to Maria of about any abnormality.
"Actually, there no need to bother about washing the dish. You must have a lot to study and school homework, right?" Maria informed to Martin with a little concern expression.
"Em. I'm off to my room then." Martin said before leaving the kitchen to going in his room.
Martin immediately study as soon he entered his room. Since the previous owner never liked to study, all the knowledge is new for him. He study excitedly until night, only he been called by Maria does he going his room.
"Martin, let's eat dinner first." Maria informed while a concern expression is showing on her face.
"Stupid brother, you even not to notice that your future wife is on the run. She seems made the right choice to takes my advice. Serve you right!" Jane said with taunting expression while pulling her one eyelid and stick out her tongue.
"That's better then." Martin calmly uttered the word.
Martin just said those kind of word to stop Jane to taunting him. Even though he too feels a little worry about Lina who yet back.
"Martin! How can you uttered such kind of word to your own fiance! You must go find her after you have your dinner. Mother will not allowed return without together with her!" Maria told with anger well up inside her.
Martin is surprises that his word to Jane trigger Maria's anger to him. He don't knows what to said for now just to soothe her.
"Bleargh. Serve you right! 'Ouch, mom! Why do you hit me?" Jane provoked at Martin before Maria hit her on her mouth.
"Don't ever provoked your brother! That's bad, you know?" Maria told Jane with a displeasure within her.
"Mom, you so bias to someone not even your son! I..." Jane uttered the word with hate to her mom. Her sentence was immediately interjected by someone.
"Stop uttered such..." Maria said with anger welled up in her. She is really displeased with her daughter's word. She immediately stop Jane word as soon before Jane complete it.
"You two eat first. I going to search for Lina." Martin informed mother-daughter duo immediately with a calm voices before going out from the house speedily.
"Martin, shouldn't you have a dinner first?" Maria said to Martin while Jane looks at him with her unperturbed expression without any guilt in her.
"I will eat it after I coming home with Lina later. So be sure to keep it warm then, bye." Martin said before he goes out from the apartment.
Although he felt irritated at Jane word, he choose to lets it go since he not in the mood to argue with her.
"Well, now where do I have to go?" After going out from the apartment building, Martin immediately looks the peaceful night atmosphere. Although there still a lot of cars moving on the road, Martin feels more eased than his previous life in the turmoil world.
"Time to use it again, huh. Well, so be it." Martin muttered in small voices before activated his power. Sure enough, the power of wish is without rival. Martin immediately knows where Lina currently at.
"Em, time for me to get her home." Martin immediately heads to the west side of the district. After went through a few times of the pedestrian crossing. He immediately reached to the rural place where there a lot of old buildings where it need for demolish.
"Weird, what she doing here?" Martin feels strangeness of place where Lina currently at.
Martin activated his power of wish to determined Lina accurate location. He reached the accurate location where his wish power just given to him. Martin frowns after not seeing any of Lina appearance at the location that she should be at.
"What a surprise, it's seems there invisible dimension around here. Should I enter it or not?" Martin muttered to himself after noticed there a invisible dimension. He contemplating to himself about entering the invisible dimension.
"This world truly not peaceful as it's look from the surface. Even my fiance not quite the normal one,'sigh' what a worst fate." Martin muttered while sighing repeatedly over his fate. He never thought that the world have its own problem despite it peaceful atmosphere on the surface.
