Chapter 1: #1 in the beginning
Starke City
Starke City was surrounded with steep rocky mountains with the only opening on the north zone. This opening only stretched out for 11.8 miles. It was known that the mountain ranges served as a natural defensive wall for the city. Even grandmasters could not easily climbed the legendary mountain walls. Added to that, an open ocean was right next to these mountain ranges. Starke City was a peninsula attached to the Olympian Continent. This city was envied by other kingdoms because of its natural protection and strategic location.
The first king of Starke City built a wide-stretched defensive wall connecting the two ends of the mountain ranges. This defensive wall had 3 broad gates that allowed entry to Starke City. Only grandmasters and masters had the ability to ascend and descend on this wall.

Zed arrived on the Olympian Continent 16 years ago. He came from another world that was on the verge of destruction because of the supreme demon god. Endless series of war broke out between demons and humans. Zed became the strongest fighter of humanity and he battled the god demon. With the help of his holy sword, he defeated the enemy and became a hero. But the battle against the god demon made him suffer a heavy injuries. He lasted for 5 years after the war, and passed away at the age of 33. The gods granted him another life which he could live it freely. So, 16 years ago his soul was reborn to a small baby.
Zed grew up having vague memories of the past and then one day he experienced an incident. Every memory came back, all the knowledge he aquired was regained, and his soul was strengthened. He grew up on the Olympian Continent as an orphan with a weak constitution, but after the accident another adventure awaited him.

"Zed, I appreciate your help to the orphanage, but I want you to be happy also."
"Don't worry, aunt Jesa. I am happy with my current life."
"The government stopped helping us when the new king ascended the throne. He only see us as nuisance. If its not because of you, these 30 orphan kids are already dying of hunger."
"Why don't we transfer to Starke City? I heard that the government there cares about its people."
"The king do not allow anyone to go out of Wakim City."
"But..."
"Zed, let me handle that burden. Don't worry. Okay?"
Suddenly a loud explosion from the orphanage's gate was heard.
"Ms. Jesa, the prince wanted your answer."
A deep voice echoed outside the building. After he heard no answer, the door of the building blasted.
Whoosh!
An arrow flew towards the bald big man. He was wearing the military armor of Wakim City. He immediately dodged, but the arrow already scratched his ugly face.
When he saw Zed, he quickly dashed towards him with the intent to kill.
Whoosh!
Another arrow flew, but the bald man parried it with his sword. When he was about to slash Zed, Zed took a side jump and released another arrow.
Whoosh!
Blood spilt on the floor, and the bald man became very furious. His sword fell on the floor because his elbow was pierced with an arrow that broke the bones and joints.
"Stop! If you let these kids go. I will go willingly." —Jesa
"Aunt Jes, no!" —Zed
"Don't worry, Zed." —Jesa
Zed went beside Jesa to hold him, but all of a sudden the bald man threw a left punch on Zed's abdomen. He was blown away and puked blood.
Jesa wanted to go to Zed, but he was already captured and could not free herself. She was forcefully abducted.
"Such a waste of talent! If you only followed me, you might become great."
The bald man then spit on Zed.
