Chapter 3: Chapter 3: The unexpected happens
2017 December 22
We continued our lessons and it was finally the last lesson, we went on a learning journey and came back to the classroom.
To our surprise, teacher said that today is our last lesson and we should go after we have ate our lunch.
We were pretty shocked about it as we line up passing up our forms and the whole class was quiet just like 7 years ago when we lost 4 of our classmates and our kindergarten class disbanded.
In the aftermath, it was already lunch time, we were eating as usual pretending to be happy and we are as Alvin ask teacher for his phone number while others are asking for his email, facebook, instagram, snap chat and his home address.
It was pretty fun even Hana and Hui Xing join in as well.
I was eating quietly unable to accept the reality.
It has been a while since everybody has been like this.
A tear come down from my cheeks as there is one vegetable left in my plate and I knew that even if I don't eat finished, he (my teacher)will still persuade me to do it.
I started crying and my sec 1 teacher notice it and she told her husband about it.
My teacher, Mr tan, he ask me what's the problem, even though I knew that he would give us all his address and would even form a group chat for us to talk together but I really miss this place and the times we had around here 7 years ago and now.
I know there are reasons why he said that this is our last lesson but he could have at least make it a happy one instead or something.
I am still crying and everybody stare at me, they all are trying not to cry because they knew if they did then all of this is real.
They dont want to accept the reality but what teacher said makes them cry too.
" I know you are sad, I am sad as well, but everybody has to move on and forget about the past.
The reason I bring all of you together for having lessons is just because of my selfishness of the thoughts of the past."
We all started to cry but it soon ended as Mr Tan started walking to the door and said, "Bye." all the boys chased after him while the girls stayed behind.
They kept runinng in a circle and when Mr Tan came back he was surprised that we know he would come back and he just laugh.
It was a laughter that we can never figured it out like 7 years ago.
We finished our lunch and said our goodbyes to each other.
But even so, all of us has been contacting Mr Tan.
However one day which is three days later, we all received news that Mr Tan has passed away.
We all thought it was a joke planned by him but when we saw him lying on the hospital bed lifelessly, we couldn't help but just cry.
It's funny how we didn't affect the people around us for our crying noises, we all hope that his wife would tell us that it is a joke but she didn't and we all cry like we have never cried before.
Today was the day that we lost our very important person in our life and it is the day where we lost our hopes and dreams.
