Chapter 3: Red Tag

This is the captain speaking we are almost at the airport please fasten your seatbelts and make yourself comfortable we will be landing soon.

Any last request should be made after we land. Flight crews prepare for landing.

This should be fun. I'm going to see my relatives for the longest time I have been away from home.

The lights have been turned on, and I can feel the unsettling buzz of the engine and my ears popping as the plane is descending. A few minutes later we are at the tarmac rolling and as I look out the window it started to snow.

It's 9pm, when the plane made a full stop. Everyone look almost eager to disembark, the seatbelt sign is now signaling to unfasten.

Welcome to Seattle Tacoma International Airport, we hope you enjoyed our flight, we hope to fly with everyone again soon, "Thank You for Flying Virgin Atlantic". A final call by the Captain is airing on the receiver. The crew is guiding the passengers to where the doors are. A sigh of relief from Gretta beside me, and a burp from his last beer Allen has let out. Angel I hope to see you again and meet somewhere in the middle of the holiday rush, he said.

I smiled at him as I started to gather my things. Gretta I'm very happy to meet you, see you again soon, I told her and she hugged me back. The old lady was assisted by the crew and her things carried for her. Be careful and have a great night I waved at her one last time.

Have a wonderful holiday, bye now, thanks. The crew gushed.

They smiled and cheered as we go and made our way out.

I tugged on my last bag and carry on luggage. And saw that Allen has already left the plane, the back of his head was the last I saw of him.

I'm waiting and waiting for my checked in baggage a torqouise victorinox square pack. When I noticed a red tag in my bag, sure this won't be a problem when I go out of the counter.

Anything to declare Ms.? asked the customs officer.

My hands clasping the receipt I handed it to her, a China Vase as a gift to my Mother and a pocket watch for my Dad. I paid my dues and was cleared by the officer.

Thank you Ms. enjoy your vacation, Happy Holidays!

My Mother will be thrilled. I'm sure she will, she smiled at me. Happy Holidays to you too.

I wheeled my cart out to the door, where a lady in white trenchcoat standing outside of her car.

Angel!, she waved at me.

Mother....I smiled at her.
