Chapter 12: There was once a Drunk Tree
After going out of that City in that same night, I've started my journey. I confirmed that Zyra isnt there or even step foot inside that city. So for now lets go where that Academy is. I have to travel again for another whole day just to go there. By the way, Reyna too came from where that Academy, but she had an errand on that city where I dropped her, but that was a minor thing for now, afterall it was her who told me she's the student there. I didnt asks if she know about Zyra. Afterall I dont want Zyra to know I was looking for her. If that Reyna was light mouthed and accidentally tell the story about me looking for a Hero. My plan will be ruined, wait what was my plan again?. Oh well, Zyra know my original name which is a <Fortune Tree> so if she's good at connect the dots challenge, she'll found out it was her Master's name, afterall she has all in one, a beauty, an intelligent and strength. A trinity of perfection. *Cough* Am I praising her too much?
Oh well, as I said that, Here I am, flying. But... In this time of hour, its not only me whose flying through the sky. But on the ground below is a white creature, a Horse running parallel to me and went on the same direction I was heading. whats more, She's more faster even though there are many obstacle in front of her..
"This is fun, hehehe." she cried out with *hihihing* tone. She was Unice alright. This persistent girl really wanted to come with me. Even though I fly above the cliff last time which she run downward and still didnt lose sight of me. She's even stepping trees' branch to another branch sometimes, like a ninja in an anime with an orange tracksuit. But she's a horse hopping from branch to branch and she loves it. This girl had few screw lose is she? A ninja horse? Urgh this is nightmare.

Thousand meters away, I saw the Royal City's citywall. To not cause some commotion, I landed and walk instead. I dont want to get any attention from the crowd, and in this time of era, theres a soldiers who roam outside the city wall so its easy for them gather information, so lets be careful. Unice of course changed to her human form. She's even happy about the brownish colored clothes I gave to her. T..thats not a gift you know? If you enter inside the ciry with pure white dressed, Im afraid we'll become popular in one go, of course if that happened, rumors spread like a wildfire and soon reached inside her school. And its hard to recon, So, its a no no.
"Hmm?!" When we are about to enter, we saw a group of armored wearing people that went outside the gate, departing. Theres also a single carriage pulled by two horse. I look at Unice whilst she nod.
"They'll venture to Dark territory, they said" Unice said so to me. Of course she asks her 'co-race' called horse.
Then, not far away, I saw familiar silhouette getting nearer. We, whose already at the front line called by the guards.
Without any choice, we enter along with others. Theres a strict rules to this City. If you're a newcomer you have to stay for 5 days straight first before you went outside again. Of course, those 5 days are free of charge but not the inns fare, If not you'll have sleep at the central plaza which also filled with adventurers or mercenary. Theres also a job here for new comers advertised by others or shopowner themselves, so you can still earn money. They implement this rules so that people wanted to stay here because they earned money enough and found a stable job, so for Adventurer and mercenary who have no balls, that was a blessing for them. One more rules is to background check, I dont know how they did that though. And if about money. Of course, I have one, so does Unice. Where is your money came from!? Is what I wanted to say but, my mind isnt focus on that but to those familiar silhouette. Zyra is among— isnt it too early for you to venture out to that territory?
Dark Territory
All I know is that. Inside that territory resides strong monsters, a monster live there have ten times stronger than the one from the outside even though they have the same race. That is how hard to survive inside that territory. Whats more, the most important person there or a 'Landlord' is said to be the same strength as the reject Hero. I didnt believe of course. Afterall, a person who came from another world has limitless potential, even though you're just a mere villager, an inspector, a businessman, a pervert or a NEET. It is bounded that you've become stronger if you're persistent and lucky enough. This time, an enemy is a Hero. His growth is hundred times faster than those occupation I said.

Its been 3 days since then, and as we stroll around these City I learned there are two sections of the City. an Academy and a Royal. In a whole, this city was called Royal City or Royal Capital. Though it was called royal, it isnt rich as its supposed to be. Maybe the one who named it didnt know the true meaning of royal?.
"Ke ke ke, Fortune-kun Hic— Hic— I.. Love.. You! hahaHic—" said by this drunkard childlike Unice. Really, who gave an alcohol to a 10 year old looking child!?" I complained, but to whom? were here at an inn which I drag her from that tavern. Of course I didnt even drink much less a drop of it. Why? its bad for the skin, and as a pile of tree trunk and root, Im not in a position to drink. Rather, I dont want that thing to happen again. That was a nightmare...
...That time when theres a Festival from Herra tribe. I forgot what kind of festival but the childrens or rather, it was Yuusha himself, at that time who slip pass an alcohol from the party and gave it to me. And that was only one hell of a bottle.
After that is a disaster, why? The childrens were afraid of me, like they didnt came for 3 whole days which made me lonely. Because I destroyed houses near me. Therefore I conclude, that same time Chief knew about me and the childrens secret, and so he made an excuse that me their Guardian became angry because I felt lonely and they party away from me. Thats why, the next year and exact same date, they didnt party to death but instead came beside me and drink to their heart's content. I was shivering, restrained myself from drinking. But that time, I swear not to drink again, for the childrens not to get scared again...
And thats the story of a drunkard Tree.
But other than that.. this time, this horse in front of me...
