Chapter 28: Not Allowed
"No!" Thomas said angrily after closing the door to his room behind him. Silver who was right behind saw how angry he was and sighed "You can't do this,don't you think you have caused enough strain on your relationship?....See how she addresses you and she is your own flesh and blood, your first child!"
"Shut up!" Thomas grabbed her chin rather harshly making her flinch in pain "John....John is my first child. I don't want you going around and spouting nonsense to people"
Silver pulled his hand away from her chin angrily "Why do you keep lying to yourself?....John's father is most likely going to ask for his son back....what are you going to tell the family then?. I get it! you are annoyed, I didn't give you a male child but this doesn't mean you will take it out on Michelle, is it her fault she wasn't born as a male?....Just let her be, see how happy she is with him and now you actually want to ruin her relationship?"
Thomas clenched his fists "I'm only doing what is best for her!, You think I don't love my daughter?... I do, I love her very much!. She could've chosen any other guy but I will never approve of Carlos Evan!!"
"Why?, Because you couldn't get his company?, Because he refused to bow his head down and hand everything over to you?"
Thomas raised his hand to hit his wife but she caught it, she glared at him "His selfish can you be?...Why are you even after something you didn't work for?....You are a horrible person!!" Silver flung his hand away angrily and walked out of the room.
Thomas gritted his teeth and resisted he urge to go after that woman and give her a good beating.
He had already done so much for that company, yet that child still got it!
Despite everything he had risked and sacrificed.....

"They're at it again" Vicky shook her head and decided to ignore the fact that her parents were yelling at each other. They couldn't hear the words clearly but the three of them knew they were definitely arguing over Michelle and Carlos' relationship.
"How long has it been like this?" Michelle couldn't help but ask, this was most definitely the first time she had seen her parents have an argument but Vicky was acting like it was a normal thing.
"It has become quite a norm....they would argue and disagree over every single thing these days" Vicky sighed as she massaged her forehead, she felt a headache coming.
"So, now I'm guessing you both are not allowed to date...as usual, daddy never agrees to anything good anyways"
Vicky sighed.

"You're mist definitely going to love my brother, he is like the best person in the world!" Michelle couldn't hide her excitement as they made their way to John's new place. "You're complimenting him so much....should I be worried?"
Carlos teased making Michelle laugh "Yeah sure, if he wasn't my brother I would definitely date him!"
Carlos faked a hurt expression before held her waist and brought her closer to him. She could feel his light breaths on her face, he smirked and caressed her lower lip with his thumb. "Don't forget how jealous I can get Michelle....don't tempt me...to do things..."
Bringing his face closer to hers, he planted a light kiss on her lips. Michelle's heart was beating wildly, what was he getting jealous for?....his actions made her feel like a love sick teenager.
"I....ahem!..It was only a joke..." Michelle said weakly, Carlos chuckled seeing her flustered state, he captured her lips in his again. This time it was more passionate, he kissed her so deeply her eyes became blurry and her knees became weak. She wasn't standing by herself anymore.
He didn't leave her till the both of them were left breathless, Michelle looked up at him with hazy eyes "You...you're so annoying!"
Thankfully they weren't in public.... Michelle glared at him before walking away. How was he able to muddle her mind....no, her entire being with just one kiss. And no matter how much she tried, she still hadn't figured out how to get back at him.
Carlos laughed and followed behind the angry girl, pacifying her in his own way.

"Boyfriend?...That's nice...." John's fake smile was faltering, when he first saw the man next to Michelle, he already had a rough guess as to what was going on but heading it from her now made him more annoyed than he already was.
