Chapter 2: Daily Life With A Child
"Father I'm hungry!"
"Hold on Shen I have to finish training. Go ask your mother."
Shen Hu runs through the courtyard to the entertainment room where his mom is reading a book.
"Mother I'm hungry."
"Hold on Shen, let me finish my book and then I'll make you a snack."
"OK mother."
Shen Hu went to the courtyard where his father is standing on his hands and training his body. Shen Hu is curious to what his father his doing and stands in front of him. "Father what are you doing?"
"I'm training Shen Hu. Did you need something?"
"Can I train with you?"
Shen's father is surprised and stands up he looks at his son who has black hair with golden eyes. "Sure. here lets start with something easy. First lay down on the ground with your palms on the ground and your arms are bent upwards. Good now push up from the ground and then go back down but do not touch the ground. Now that is a push up. Do as many as you can and then rest and continue tell me when you get to 20."
Shen's father explained to him how to do a simple arm workout and continue with his training while Shen Hu started working out. After awhile Shen Hu got tired to the point where he couldn't get up. his father carried him to the dining area where his mother had some fruits and cold beverages ready for them. Shen Hu and his father chatted together and thought about training together. Shen Hu loved the idea of training with his dad from now on. He always wanted to make his dad proud of him and thought that this might work.
After awhile Shen Hu got tired and his mother took him off to bed so he could sleep and train with his father again the next day. When Shen Hu laid down he asked his mom to sing him a lullaby to help him sleep. She sang to him as he crept into a nice slumber.
