Chapter 1: Chapter 1
I am Yu Yan, a 22 year old otaku.
I opened my fridge in the kitchen to find something to eat when I noticed that it was empty save for a few condiments, so I let out an annoyed sigh and grab my wallet while putting on a jacket and leaving the house.
I barely take ten steps before I was suddenly struck by lightning, becoming burned like charcoal instantly, and before I could even make a sound I was instantly killed as everything around me turned black.

'Ugh, where am I? I remember I was struck by lightning, so how am I alive?'
I look around and found myself in a completely black space, which is confusing me to be honest. I also realized that I didn't feel any pain on my body, which is weird considering I was just struck by lightning.
'So, I am either dead and this is some place where dead people go, or I am in a coma turned into a vegetable or something.'
I feel like the first option is more likely as I am an otaku who reads stuff like this all the time. More like, I want the first option to be the one that happened. If I was actually in a coma while turned into a vegetable, I might as well get someone to kill me if I wake up.
Living as a vegetable is basically not living at all, as you are pretty much dead but have an active mind still, which is torture for anybody who has to live like that, as you won't be able to move at all, and all you can do is think in a immobile body until you die.
I wander around in this completely black space for who knows how long when a white light suddenly appears, and I waste no time in making myself float over to it. When I get beside it, I reach out a hand and touch the white light.
Feeling a slight burning feeling the instant I touch it, I almost retracted my hand, but I endure the burning and clutch onto the white light completely, and I found myself transported from the black space I was in before to a white space before I knew it.
I look around and notice nothing at all, so thinking it is the same as the black space, just white instead, I let out an annoyed sigh and am about to continue wandering around when I heard a voice speaking behind me.
"Greetings, mortal!"
I jump in surprise and turn around, finding myself staring at a middle aged man with a golden robe on. He looks like he is still in his prime, with no signs of aging on his face. I was wondering who he is when he spoke to me again.
"I am God!"
I was surprised when I heard him say he was God, but then I was ecstatic as I was wondering if this was that situation where people would get a chance to reincarnate like in the novels I read. I was about to ask him that before he cut me off.
"As you read novels involving this situation all the time, I am assuming you are wondering if this is the same situation. Well, it is! I was the one who accidentally dropped a lightning bolt on you, which ended up killing you. As an apology, I will reincarnate you in any world you want!"
'Holy shit! It really is like in the novels!'
"Then, can I be sent to a cultivation world? I always wanted to be like the people in those novels, who can fly around and destroy mountains with a wave of their hands!"
"No problems with that at all! As you probably guessed, I will give you 3 wishes as an apology you to take with you to the other world!"
'Thank god I actually get wishes! If I was sent to a cultivation world with a normal body, I would die instantly.'
I think for a while before I think of what I want my wishes to be. I was originally going to go the typical cheat with a system route, but I decided against it and chose something else which would be interesting to me.
"Alright! My first wish is for me to be turned into a Spirit Sword, where I would bind to someones Soul and they can use me in fights and so on. I would have 3 forms to my sword, the first form is a basic katana, the second form is a basic katana still, but I would be able to use a Soul attack or something similar. As for my third form, it would give my Master a mask that will increase their strength by multiple folds as well as strengthening any of the attacks my Master would do. Naturally, there could be a time limit on it. For each form, my Master would need to learn my second and third name to unlock the next form."

"Why did you choose something like that? I would of thought you would choose to get a system and some strong cheat power."
God seemed to be surprised, which isn't surprising at all, considering that he would obviously figure I would choose the cheats that people in the novels I read do most of the time. Still, I think this is a good idea for something fun to happen.
"Well, I was going to choose that, but it seemed to basic for me, honestly. I wanted sometihng more interesting, so I chose to turn myself into a Soul Sword in the end."
"Well, there is no problem with that."
"Good. My second wish is that I would get stronger each time my Master gets stronger. For example, each time my Master increases in a Realm or Rank, however the cultivation system in graded in the world, I would obtain a new ability each time."
"Oh~ That's an interesting idea. Alright, no problem. Whats your final wish then?"
"My final wish is for me to be able to have a body! I would have a Spirit Body at all times where my Master can see and so on. Eventually I would be able to go out into the real world with a Spirit Body temporarily to assist my Master in fights if need be. And if my Master finds the right materials, I can create myself a real body. Is that fine?"
"Hahaha, I knew you would choose that! Alright, no problem! I guess you are ready now?"
'Holy shit he actually agreed to them all! This is going to be pretty fun, hehe.'
"Yeah, I am ready!"
"Good! Just to let you know, you might have to wait a long time for your Master to find you. Maybe up to a thousand years or so. Is that fine with you?"
"Yeah, I expected that. I can't just become the Soul Sword of some random person after all."
What if the person I become the Soul Sword of was complete scum and used me for the wrong purposes? That would suck. There is also the chance of the person finding me being a complete weakling, so it would ruin my second wish. As such, waiting a long time for the right Master to come is fine with me.
"Good! I will transmit memories about the world to you once you get there, and I will explain everything about your wishes once you are there, such as your names and so on. Good luck!"
God waved his hand and I was covered in a white light, and I could feel myself being transported somewhere else, but I fainted right after, not letting me know how the process works for transporting like this.

I open my eyes, if they can be called that, and found myself in a forest with stone monuments around me. I can't move, as expected. I looked around as much as I could with my immobile body before I had a headache as memories started pouring into my head.
After a while, the headache disappeared and I had knowledge about this world and how my powers work. This world is called Jinmei and it is a world full of cultivators, as expected. There are apparently two realms to this world, and I am in the lower realm right now.
The cultivation for the lower realm is like this: Spirit Disciple, Spirit Warrior, Spirit Lord, Spirit King, Spirit Emperor, Spirit Monarch, Spirit Overlord, Spirit Saint and Spirit God.
I don't know what the cultivation ranks for the upper realm are, but I know I would get the information about the cultivation ranks once I get to the upper realm, so I don't worry about that. Each cultivation rank in the lower realm has a total of 10 stages to them, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.
As for my wishes, they are pretty simple. For my first wish, my first name for my basic form is just Yu Yan, which is my old name. For my second form, my name is Leviathan, and my third form name is Lucifael. Pretty cool names, honestly.
For my second wish, my powers are exactly like I thought. Each new rank my Master gets, my powers will increase. If my Master is in Spirit Disciple, nothing happens as it is the first rank. If my Master is in Spirit Warrior, I will obtain what is known as a Spirit Sense, where I can see anything within 5000 meters of my body.
If my Master is in Spirit Lord, I will obtain the ability to bring my body into the real world for 1 hour each weak to assist in battle. If my Master is in Spirit King, the time increases to 2 hours, and if my Master is in Spirit Emperor, the time increases to 3 hours.
If my Master is in Spirit Monarch, I can come to the real world for 1 hour every day, which is good. If my Master is in Spirit Overlord, I can come to the real world for 2 hours every day. If my Master is in Spirit Saint, I can come to the real world for 5 hours a day, and if my Master is in Spirit God, I can come to the real world for 10 hours a day.
Naturally, each time my master enters a new rank, my power will increase slightly. For example, if my Master enters Spirit Warrior, my sword form will strengthen by 5%, Spirit Lord will strengthen my sword form by 10% and so on.
Each beast in the world has something called a core, which cultivators can use to increase their cultivation speed temporarily depending on the grade of the core. As for my third wish, for me to create a real body, I need to obtain a grade 10 core, a grade 7 Spirit Herb of any type and 20 kg of Purple Crystals.
Purple Crystals are basically a rare mineral in the lower realm, so it will be hard to find that much of it. As for the grading system, in the lower realm is goes from grade 1 to grade 10, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. For the upper realm grading system, I don't know what it is yet.
As for me, my basic sword form is considered a grade 6 artifact, my second sword form is considered a grade 7 artifact and my third form is considering a grade 10 artifact. Pretty strong sword forms for me, haha.
I also found out that I would only obtain my Spirit Body when my Master finds me, so I can't even explore around until then, which sucks. So all I can do is sit in this same spot, staring at trees and stone monuments until my Master finds me. I also can't choose how my Spirit Body would look like, so hopefully God chose something good looking and not weird.
Well, luckily I am able to sleep until he finds me. If I had to stay awake for up to a thousand years for my Master to find me, I would probably go insane. Luckily God thought of this problem and made it so that I would be able to sleep whenever I wanted. I would also be instantly notified once my destined Master finds me by a loud alarm in my head, and I would know how long I slept for each time I wake up.
Such as it is, I decided to sleep! I will sleep until my Master finds me! I basically close my non existent eyes and put myself to sleep for who knows how long.
