Chapter 8: Bites the dust
Two long years passed as the two demigods became closer as they fought side by side up down the country. Brothers in all but blood. Battlesworn. They fought monsters from all around surviving as best they could. They had grown older and stronger, 14 years old now it was surprising to any with knowledge how they were still alive after staying in the world so long.
This time they were out by Charleston. Wandering around together as they tried to figure out what to do. As they were talking rumbles of thunder could be heard ahead.
"That's odd." Luke commented. "It is a clear day."
"Do you think it is someone like us?" Lucifer asked.
"If it is they sound like they need help and sooo we should run." After Luke said that he took off at a run Lucifer easily keeping pace as they went at speed. A cave quickly appeared up ahead and roars and thunder claps could be heard originating from. Both demigods brought out their weapons and entered the cave.
Within the cave a twelve year old girl with spiky black hair and electric blue eyes and a splash of freckles across her face while was holding off a dragon with a long spear. The dragon itself was a huge grey scaled beast that snapped and snarled at the girl. Rage flared in its eyes as fire blew from its maw. The girl yelped as she threw herself to the side as static flared from her body.
"Definitely one of use Luke" Lucifer said as he charged the beast before it took notice of him. Luke stayed holding his knife in a reverse grip as went the other way to Lucifer. As the dragon saw Lucifer out the corner of its eye it turned to face him with a roar. Lucifer took no head a kept charging with his scissor held aloft. As soon as he reached the dragon the axe head bit into its flank. The dragon focused its attention on him as it roared in pain. Luke took advantage of the dragon being distracted and thrust its dagger into its left eye. The dragon let loose an ear piercing scream as its head turned to Luke.
However with smooth practices movements Lucifer brought the reach of the katar to use as he commanded it to lengthen and pierce the dragons remaining eye.
As this went down the girl struggled to her feet as her eyes went wide at the pairs expirience in fighting. Just as she got up the katar's blade pierced the dragons remaining eye, fully blind now the roars of pain were deafening.
Luke leaped back from the dragons frantic swipes as it went berserk from pain. He stood next to the girl as Lucifer tank the dragons swiped with his shield an got in close. With a swift punch the retracted katar stabbed through the dragons throat as it gurgled and exploded into dust.
Lucifer coughed as he stumbled back. Choking on the disgusting taste of monster dust

Also the time skip is to partially keep some of Lucifers abilities secret so the powers that come from his mother heritage will come out soon enough.
