Chapter 1: before everything
Ahhhhhhhhhh I would kill every one of them if I could. What is the point of me living now? I have nothing left in this world. They killed my father just because he was walking to slow. All they had to do was tell him to get out of the way but them despicable disciples from the spirit sect killed him.
I guess I can only blame my self for being too weak, on this ulang continent strength is the only thing that determines your value. If I could have just been stronger, I could have saved my father, and they would have never even thought about hurting him.
But alas that will never happen with my mediocre talent.
Is what Jelani though as he was sitting by the camp he made it was in enough proximity to the city that no powerful beast would be around to kill him. He was afraid to go back to the city in the unlucky chance the disciples form spirit sect decides to finish him off just like what they did to his dad.
He took out a piece of cooked meat and put it over the fire to cook, his mouth started salivating at the thought of bitting into the piece of meat. When the piece of meat finally finished cooking, he raised it to his mouth. To eat when he spotted something in the corner of his vision.
It looks like wolves, he started thinking what are they doing so close to the city,they should be found out in the woods seeing as though they are Level 3 body refinement realm beast, on a typical day he would have nothing to fear since he would be protected in the city that has level 7 and level 8 body refinement practitioners but out her he only has his nonexisting strength to defend him.
Literally, he is not even a level one practitioner, most people in the city were at least a level one, but he has absolutely no talent for martial arts.
