Chapter 17: Extra Precautions
I came back home to see Noah and Rose sleeping soundly on the Sofa while the TV is still on. Cookies, peanuts and some junk food litters fell on the floor. I cleaned for a little and wake Rose.
"Rose wake up," I said.
"Oh you're home already? How's the party?" She asked with eyes still closed.
"It went well and I also met Eros their," I said and she opened her eyes immediately.
"What? Are you alright?" she asked.
"Ssshhhh I'm fine. Keep your voice low. Noah is still asleep. You can sleep in one of the guestrooms," I said.
"No,don't bother. I'm going to go back at the HQ already. Tell Noah that I enjoyed watching with him," she said and it surprised me.
"I will," I said and she goes out already. I pick Noah up and gently put him down on his bed.
"Mom, you're home,"Noah said.
"Yes baby. Continue sleeping," I said gently.
"Mom sleep with me,please?" he said.
"Sure baby," I said and lay besides him. I hug him and he falls asleep again.
While looking at him, I can't deny the fact that he is Eros' son. His blue eyes and Nose is very identical with his father. I won't let him know that our child is alive no matter what.
Morning came and as usual, I prepare our breakfast. I need to work on the company for two months in developing a major project so I will let Noah decide if he wants to stay in his grandparents mansion or let a nanny take care of him.
"Baby, did you think about it?" I asked him.
"Yes Mom and I don't want neither," he answered.
"But why? Your grandmom misses you a lot," I said.
"Mom, I want to be with Uncle Elijah. His house is not that far from school and my tiger is there. I want my tiger to recognized me before I bring him home. Please?" he begged.
"Ok let's come to an agreement. If Uncle Eli wants you to live with him, then I'll agree," I said.
"He already agreed, " He muttered.
"I didn't even asked him yet," I said.
"I called him last night and he said yes," he admitted. I called Eli and he confirmed it.
"Baby, I know you love your Uncle Eli so much but your grandparents misses you too. You will stay at Uncle Eli's house for a month and stay at the mansion for a month. Is that okay with you?" I asked.
"That's fine with me," he answered with a satisfied grin in his face.
I drive him to their school and after seeing him enter, I decided to talk to the principal. I knock at the door and then entered.
"Miss Shane, how are you?" Principal Adam said.
"I'm fine Sir. I just need to make some extra request," I said.
"Tell me and I will try my best to comply," he said. I am one of their investors and they look at me with high regard.
"I'm not going to fetch Noah for this next two months so please make sure that only my parents and this person will pick him up, " I said and showed him a picture of Noah.
"Thank you Principal Adam. If someone tries to pick him up, kindly notify me. If unnecessary things happen to my son then I will hold you accountable for it," I said.
"Yes Miss," he said.
I need to take extra precautions when it comes to my son. After instructing principal Adam, I also did the same to Noahs teacher.
