Chapter 20: No Buts
Akira entered the company very early to organize the things needed to be sent at EDL corporation. She doesn't want to collaborate with them but they already had a signed agreement in the company.
"Good morning sunshine," a loud voice barge into my office and a man wearing colorful clothes entered.
"Gosh Rou Chen! Stop yelling early in the morning. I told you to wear a formal attire," I scolded him.
"This is my beautiful working and formal attire," he said while tightening his necktie.
"Ok fine but please don't wear that next time. You may wear a red blazer with red slacks or any color as long as it is plain but not with those peach colored blazer and slacks printed floral clothes," I said.
"You always make me wear plain colors especially black on my missions," he pouted.
"That's because you always attract attention if I let you choose your clothes and you need to lay low on your mission," I glared at him.
"Well, I love attention and I'm not on any mission right now so can you please let me have my own taste of clothes?" he said with puppy eyes.
"Fine, fine!" I just give up.
"Then let me ask you to deliver a message to EDL Corporation," I said and his face turned sour.
"You mean?" he asked.
"Yes. They will be providing us models for our brand," I said.
"Why?" he asked.
"They are our best choice," I said.
"You won't go poor if you break the contract," he said.
"I won't but this will be my stepping stone to let the public know my name," I said.
"Yeah right. You can't hide who you are from him anymore but wouldn't it be more dangerous to do business with him?" he said.
"It would be more dangerous if I avoid him. He would do anything to research more on me," I said.
"Hmpft!" he sneered.
"I want you to meet them and submit our revised proposals and conditions," I instructed.
"How about you?" he asked.
"I'm going to visit the manufacturing plant today after reading few papers so you can just go there after meeting them," I said.
"Then I'm going to leave now," he said.

EDL Corporation,
"Sir, the Shane corporation wants to meet you," Erwan reported.
"For what?" Eros asked.
"They want to submit their revised proposals and conditions in person and they would like to give it in person," Erwan answered.
"Schedule a meeting for them," Erwan said.
"They already came without prior notice," Erwan said.
"What? Then let them come in and don't let them wait," Eros raised a tone in his voice.
"Yes boss," Erwan hurriedly goes out with cold sweat in his forehead.
"You may go in," Erwan said to Rou Chen.
"Thank you," Rou said and goes inside the cold office.
"Good morning Sir. My boss had sent me here to submit these files to you. I hope you can give it some time to review, " Rou gave the files.
"Take a seat and I will review some changes for a while, "Eros said but his eyes seems to be looking for someone.
"Yes Sir," Rou obeyed.
"Your conditions are agreeable and fine with us but I can't sign it yet," Eros said and Rou gritted his teeth before smiling.
"Would you like to change some or maybe add some on the information stated on the contract?" Rou asked.
"Their is no problem with the revised terms and conditions but I would like it to sign with your boss," Eros stated.
"But my boss.."
"There are no buts.. It will be signed once she came," Eros stated not accepting any rejection.
"Then I will convey what you want to her," Rou said and leave.
