Fake me, fake smile
Fake me, that has lasted for a while
Fake me, the real one was never seen
Fake me, is all I've ever been
Real me, just an empty shell
Real me, with emotions I could never tell
Real me, always locked so far away
Real me, that I could hopefully show someday
Fake me, is everyone's expectation
Fake me, a facade just for presentation
Fake me, a more cheerful and livelier version
Fake me, a simpler answer to a complicated equation
Real me, hidden far away from everyone's sight
Real me, never being able to fight my own fight
Real me, is not the sweet angel you expect
Real me, is not the demon that shows you no respect
Me, is just a normal human being
Me, is just a person who wants to continue living
Me, unless a meaner demon comes to take over
Me, is just a simple person disguised as an angel for cover

MysticalGalaxy14
MysticalGalaxy14 I take pride in this poem for some reason. I even vividly remember when I made this poem.
It was Christian Living and we were watching a movie, and me being the bored person I am and the fact that my eyes starts to water after a long time of staring at a tv screen, I was thinking and one thing led to another and I had an idea.
I wrote it down, it took me whole two subjects. Because CL and Math were the last subjects that day. I really loved writing this poem for some reason.
