Chapter 1: A New Life

A disheveled and scruffy girl lay in a coffin inside a dark room made out of stone.

Then Suddenly the girl inside the coffin woke up a found herself inside an old and hard coffin made out of stone.

"Where am I?"

The girl asked herself while she tried to stand up, but failed to do so.

After a few minutes of trial and error to stand up she finally did it and could look around the room.

While she did so she took a few glances at her own body and saw to her surprise that she was completely naked.

"Are there any clothes her? I am not cold, but some clothes shouldn't do any harm." She murmured to herself and yet again searched around the room to find something useful in this case a set of clothes for her.

"I can see perfectly normal in this room, that´s quite strange there are neither torches or any windows her." She asked herself while focusing on the task on hand.

A few minutes passed while she searched through the whole room until only a place remained untouched by her the cabinet on the other side of the room. And so she went to the cabinet, tried to open it, but failed miserably.

"Ok, that´s more difficult than I expected." After she spoke to herself she tried it again and to her surprise succeeded.

The only drawback was that through using all of her strength she opened it with too much force and thus she dropped to the ground with her butt first.

"Ouch that quite hurt." She said while touching her butt to check if everything is fine with it.

"Now let´s see what´s in the cabinet."

As soon as she looked inside the cabinet she saw a white dress hanging inside.

"That´s quite a surprise." She spoke in a happy voice.

Thus she took the dress and dressed herself.

"Now that I am dressed I can look at what is behind the door, well not that I have any choice when I want to survive."

And so the girl walked to the door. Before she could even open the door a sudden sound could be heard coming from her belly. It was the sound of a hungry stomach.

"Well that´s quite embarrassing thanks god nobody could hear that."

After this small interruption she opened the door to see a long, but small corridor that stretched about 10 to 20 meters.

Along the walls of the corridor were medium sized statues of some sorts of monsters. Curious as she was she walked up to one of the statues and had a look at it.

"Hmm… that´s quite interesting this statue looks way to realistic, the sculpture maker has to be a professional." She exclaimed in a respectful voice.

"But I don´t know what this sculpture should represent. Maybe a mythical monster?" She asked herself.

"Anyway let´s move on I am starving to death right now!"

After a while she stood at the end of the long corridor and saw yet again another door blocking her way.

Without thinking to deeply about it she grabbed the door handle and opened the door in a slowly fashion because the door was quite heavy, at least for her.

What she saw flabbergasted her completely.

The room in front of her, if one could even call it like that was filled with rotten bones and corpses all over the place. She took a deep breath and willed herself to go inside.

The first step she took inside the room was already a disaster she stepped on top of a bone and tripped over it landing heads first onto the ground.

"**ck, now my dress is 100% dirty." She thought to herself with a little infuriated voice.

While she stood up again something useful picked her interest, a mirror and so she walked to the mirror to see how she actually looks like.

"Of course the mirror is full of dust. Well let´s clean it then."

Thus she used some parts of her now already dirty dress to clean the mirror albeit a bit unsuccessfully.

"Now let´s have a look."

In the mirror she saw a young woman about 20 years old with jewel-like eyes with a platinum color, her skin was smooth ivory colored especially her face was extremely delicate. She had long hair that was formed to a normal pony with a silver color. Overall she had a petite body type about 1.60 to 1.70 meters high with slim arms and legs.

"So now I at least know how I look like." She spoke to herself loudly with an exciting voice that couldn't´t hold in the excitement she felt that her body was very good looking and at least how she thought to herself attractive.

"What is this !?"

From one to another second she suddenly touched the back of her head to make sure she had not seen wrong. The reason why she suddenly touched her head was simple, she saw 2 barely visible horns on the back of her head, the horns looked like they want to pierce the sky with a dark blackish color that had a strong contrast to her silver hair.

About 10 minutes later when she was finished with looking at herself she steeled herself to walk further into the room to get out As soon as possible.

What catched her eyes immediately after a more thorough inspection of the room was a throne place at the end of a red carpet that stretches from a massive door in one side of the room to the other side to the throne.

"I guess I could take a look at the throne before going to the big door."

Thus she went to the throne and even before she was near the throne, she saw a blue sword lying on top of the seating area of the throne.

She went further to the throne and when she finally reached the throne, although it took a while because she didn´t want to repeat her mistake of falling down to the ground.

As soon as the sword was within her reached she automatically grabbed it and had inspected it.

She inspected the rest of the sword. Touching the ornate cross-guard that spread out like a leaf, with a jewel embedded in the center. She ran her fingers across the runes filling the blade's fuller. She had no thoughts about what the symbols meant, but felt her finger tingle as she traced their lines. The balance of the weapon was impeccable. The metal of the carved guard, and metal hilt, balanced the thin, light blade efficiently. She gave it a few more swings, adjusting her stance, which seemed to become lighter as she became accustomed to it.

At further inspection she saw a name engraved in the metal hilt of the sword "Shirinerris Ven Daemnila".
